Located directly across from East Harbor State Park and beaches. Two upper level condo-style suites newly constructed in 2012 & two lower level condo-style suites newly constructed in 2019. THIS UNIT IS A LOWER LEVEL UNIT (UNIT D). Each unit sleeps 8 with 2 bdrm 2 full bath unit, and free dockage (up to 35' boat). Upper units have a large screened-in deck and lower units have concrete patios and a grass lawn overlooking beautiful West Harbor. Setting is on a quiet marina surrounded by friendly and safe neighborhoods and close proximity to restaurants. Great for families, friends and fishing groups. Fishing charters also available 1/2 mile down the road! Lower level units are handicap accessible. Washer/dryer available in all the units. We also have Boondocks outdoor waterfront poolside bar area that is a low-key setting with live music Friday thru Sunday every weekend (weather permitting). Annually, on the 2nd Saturday of September (after Labor Day), we host a "Harbor Bash" for the marina and surrounding neighborhoods with live music 2pm-10pm. Please contact us with any questions prior to making a reservation during times that may have live music. Wonderful property and the owners were very quick to respond and helpful. The power was out for a little bit from a storm and they were out to get a generator! Fortunately it came back on before they even could get it hooked up.

I’ve chosen this property three times due to its cleanliness and the fact it is a newly-built property. Hard to find in the Lake Erie area. It has a lovely new pool, and a nice peaceful patio to relax on. However, this year I was greeted by a construction zone literally outside the door. The convenient bar at the end of the building is going to be expanded into a restaurant. Great for the owners! I am not sure that walking through a restaurant zone to get to my “peaceful” vaca place will work for me. Maybe having a quieter back entrance to avoid crowds will be helpful. I was there Sunday-Wednesday and heard thumping of base music till 10:pm. Not a huge problem, but if I go back it will def be through the week.

We are sorry to hear that you had some issues. To clarify, we have it in our description and in the initial reservation email correspondence that there is live music every Thursday - Sunday during the summer season. We also suggest contacting us with any questions prior to booking. We have had live entertainment since 2020 so, if you stayed with us previously, you would have known this prior to booking again. As for the construction, we are working to improve the property with a new private rental entrance and upper deck area. The changes are intended to improve the experience of all guests, whether renters, pool members or bar patrons. We would have been happy to show or explain to you the plans if you had asked. Great stay!

We were very happy with our stay in Unit D at the marina! The unit was extremely clean, comfortable, and spacious. The hosts were easy to reach and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Family weekend at the lake

Our family had a great experience at this property. Everything was clean and as described. We loved having the bar and pool right next door! We will definitely stay here the next time we want to visit the area.

Great Getaway!

The property was as advertised. Proximity to the pool was amazing and the space was relaxing and comfortable. We went to a couple of restaurants and found them easily and nearby. Overall great girl’s trip!

Comfortable home away from home

Travel to Sandusky often for volleyball and wanted something quieter and more space than a hotel and this was the perfect fit for our family! There’s so much to see and do even in the offseason! Very close to all our favorite local restaurants! Would love to visit again and bring our boat!

Great Getaway Stay

My husband and I were hoping to have a relaxing and low key long weekend. This rental was perfect. Being by the water was great, and the apartment was clean, cozy and well equipped. We loved the proximity to great options and also the option to grill a meal for ourselves.

Weekend charter trip

Everything was very nice. Condo was very clean. You can watch them put the big boats in on the back porch. The owner was great and you could get ahold of her easily. Our stay was good.

Nice spot for a lakeside getaway

Condo was charming and clean, including updated furnishings and appliances. Beautiful location on the marina, and easy access to local attractions. Owners were very helpful--communication was great. Check-out was a snap. 5 stars across the board!

Comfy and modern

We enjoyed this place so much! Everything was new and clean and lovely. Quiet and peaceful - owners live nearby. Little bar with music nearby but can’t hear a thing from inside the condo.

Perfect getaway

I took my son and his friend fishing for my son’s 15th birthday. We booked with JT Charter..who by the way is fabulous! This place was extremely clean, comfortable, and perfect being right on the water so they were able to keep fishing once off the boat. Location was great.. close to everything! The hosts were very responsive and welcoming.

Fall Fishing

We had a wonderful time here again. This is our second time staying in this unit this year and things are consistently great! We had 6 guys in our group so things were a little tight but very manageable. The owners are very nice and helpful with any questions you may have.

Catawba island area

This property is part of a marina and is centrally located 10-15 minutes from Lakeside/Marblehead to the east, Miller’s Ferry to the north, and Port Clinton to the west. The space was peaceful, very clean and comfortable for our group of four adults. The owners, Bree and Bill, made sure that our stay was wonderful and provided lots of information about things to do. Their property provided access to a bar with drinks an pizza and a heated pool

Fishing trip

We had an amazing stay at West Harbor. The place is just as listed and worked perfectly. We had 5 guys in the group from 20-82 years old and not one of us could find anything we would like changed. If you are going fishing there is a cleaning station just across the road at the state park! Hope to be back next year!

We are a family-owned business with our three adult sons who help us run the operations. We have been in the marina business for 30+ years and have owned this marina and rental operation since 2012. We built the bar and pool area in 2020. We make every effort to improve and expand the marina, rental, and bar operations each year.

We purchased this marina in April 2012 and are working feverishly to make it one of the nicest marinas in our area. We feel that this location is one of the best in our area given its proximity to East Harbor State Park, West Harbor channels, the Lake Erie Islands & Peninsulas, Cedar Point and the many shops and restaurants.

Our condo rentals have a beautiful panoramic view of West Harbor and all of its boating activity. In addition, we offer a boat dock during your rental period at no extra cost. We have also added an outdoor bar area overlooking our marina and public harbor. There is live entertainment every weekend. We also have a "Harbor Bash" that is a large neighborhood parking lot party with live bands on the second Saturday in September. Please call with any questions prior to making your reservation.
