A classic Florida beach house (one of only a few left) with a screened in porch and a 90 second leisurely stroll to a Caribbean beautiful beach. Enjoy the ocean breeze and laid back ambiance of this charming home. Welcome! No shoes, No news!

2 bedroom 2 bath cottage sits a block to Gulf coast waters.

Newly updated kitchen has all the amenities for family lunches or romantic dinners. A large gas grill is available for your favorite BBQ. WIFI available, cable TV, streaming with 2 large screen televisions. The screened in front porch is perfect to relax after a long day and enjoy a cold beverage and watch the sunsets.

Large back bedroom has a king bed along with a queen bed , small refrigerator, coffee maker, TV and a full bath. Front bedroom has a double bed and front bath has stand alone shower.

Beach chairs , umbrellas and beach toys are available.

Great location but needs cleaning

This old and simple cottage is just 3 minutes from a beautiful beach. Good value for the price and a great stay overall, except for a couple issues. The cleaning was inadequate and even the dinner chairs had a layer of dust, and the floor was dirty under the furniture. Also the manager tried to collect 150 cash for our third person, while the required online payment was 75. Alexander

Quaint Cottage with Ideal Location to Beach Access

Cottage and location were perfect for our needs. Quiet street with a very short walk to public beach access. Check in/out, amenities and cottage description were spot on. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

quaint vintage cottage

this is what i think of when i think of vintage beach cottage. it was very clean, very nice area, short walk to beach. the layout was a little odd but still very doable. all the necessary amenities were provided. It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay

Beach stay

This was our second time staying here. Cottage was clean upon arrival, I appreciated the outdoor shower. The short walk to beach access is always nice. Street is quiet and house is conveniently located near shopping malls and grocery stores. We hadn’t been here in a few years and I was shocked there wasn’t a dishwasher in the house. My family enjoys home cooked dinners so it was a bit annoying to hand wash lots of dishes every evening. The beds were very uncomfortable and the last two nights I opted to sleep on the couch. The air conditioner in the back of the house kept turning off so my kids would wake up hot throughout the night. Overall I like the place but would definitely recommend some changes to make it better. Lastly, my kid stepped on something sharp on the beach and cut her foot open we didn’t find anything at the house to clean and bandage it so I’d recommend keeping a first aid in the home.

Great location and quaint Florida cottage

We love older homes so we love the charm of this Miami style bungalow. This is the way homes use to be built- it’s a shame so few have survived hurricanes and condo development over the decades. I loved the cozy feel of the place. It’s super close to some of the best beaches in Florida and down the street from crab island. This may be our new favorite getaway!

Perfect getaway

My husband and our 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed the cottage! Short 3 min walk to the beach to sip our morning coffee and a great quiet neighborhood to go for evening walks. Right in the middle of 98, so many attractions/food are 10-15 min away. Cottage was super cute and quite cozy. All the amenities you’ll need. Even really nice beach chairs to take down in case you forget yours! We will definitely be back SOON to Ginny’s cottage!

Great location to the beach

All that was described in the listing plus extra things you might need if you forgot. Neighbor house had two tables and all the chairs in the back yard I just wondered if some were for this house. A full length mirror would also be suggestion. Just wish those things would have been there. But we had nothing bad to say. Enjoyed our stay.

House was ok and generally clean, But!

But in the master bath, their is mold around the tub where it meets the wall. I'm pretty sure the mold is under the the sealant. The sealant should be removed and reapplied. It looks unsightly.

Close to the beach, and pets are welcome.

We were able to check in just before 3 p.m., which was much appreciated after a 6 hour drive. Everything was neat and well-stocked, and the ice maker was full. The barbecue had adequate propane, but didn’t get hot enough to sear our steaks. We had a hard time figuring out the remote control for the heating/air conditioning units, probably because our old eyes can’t easily read fine print, but our daughter fixed it for us. We loved the short, one block, walk to the beach. The only thing we wish we’d known was that there were lots of sand burrs in the backyard, where we had to walk the dog. All things considered, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the excellent communication.

Highly Disappointing

Owner failed to mention the construction next door. Loud and disruptive. Property was dirty and filthy. Needs painting and repairs. Black mold in bathrooms. Linens are old and stained. Floors are old and dingy

Location is perfect

Loved the location of the property. Very short walk to the beach and close to shopping. Was disappointed with the cleanliness. All upholstered furniture and the rug in the living area are in desperate need of cleaning and/or replacement. Bathrooms also appeared just superficially cleaned. The king bed was not comfortable for me. The layout of the back room is somewhat odd with the 2 beds and laundry area not separated from one another. The kitchen was well equipped and bathroom and kitchen supplies were adequate. Liked that pantry basics like sugar, spices were provided. The curb appeal of the property is not the greatest and the backyard is rather barren. I seating area by the grill would be nice. But, if you are there to spend your days at the beach that does not really matter, I guess. The screened in lanai in the front was nice.
