It was a great cozy place to spend time with friends! We stayed there for a rugby reunion and it was perfect! Enough room for six of us and spacious kitchen with lots of parking.

This was a perfect stay for me and my family, we were close enough to everything and really enjoyed our stay and the pool, hot tub and basketball court kept the kids entertained!

Great location between Boone and Sugar Mountain. There was plenty of space with 2 bedrooms and the loft. The amenities were fantastic, especially the indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor pool had great views. We will be back.

Excellent 2-bedroom unit with some flexibility in the loft to accommodate a couple more. Not the fanciest trimmings but fine for the price. We’d stay there again!

Easy contact free check-in/out. The condo was very clean. Quiet gated resort with beautiful views. The heated indoor pool and hot tub are the perfect way to end a day of exploring the NC mountains. We will stay here again.

Great Place to Rest and have a Blast

The place was very nice, we spend a very good time there. it is close enough to the ski resort and to many restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had what we needed. The fireplace was nice apres’ ski along with the extra blankets we found in the closet. When we had an issue with the TV settings, we were able to get assistance from the rental service.

Loved this location

This property was clean, spacious, and very comfy. This was a great mountain rental and the outdoor pool on top of the mountain was amazing!!!

Received communication from Foscoe that contained inaccurate information about the entry code and the Wi-Fi password. Turning on the water was difficult for our group and required several tries (it was turned off very hard) . The upstairs bedroom could use a mirror and garbage can. Most rentals provide a hairdryer which we were surprised that this one did not. We loved how peaceful the place was and highly recommended Echota.

It was nice. The cleaners forgot to wipe out the refrigerator. Wished it had a hair dryer. Overall we had a great stay!

Weekend trip to visit son at App

This was everything we needed for a weekend trip visiting our son at App. The indoor pool and hot tub were a great bonus especially for the kids!

Clean and comfortable

This property worked well for our family and kept us very comfortable. The finishings were nice and the property was sparkling clean. The pool was a nice amenity for our children to enjoy. I would certainly stay here again and I would certainly recommend it to others!

Suited our Needs

This was actually our second time staying at this property. Cheteola Provides many great things for guests to enjoy. On our second stay there there was a water main break in the city which affected their units and was completely out of their control. They refunded our last night stay without even asking. They were very willing to help with whatever we needed. I will continue to stay here when I am in town

This was about a beautiful, clean and comfortable property. It was spacious and almost felt like a private cabin. The pool was perfect for our toddler with almost a zero depth entry and plenty of shallow water to play in. The kitchen was just what we needed to cook some meals and save some money. We enjoyed how close it was to Boone and grandfather winery. I didn’t realize but they text the code once you book and if you need to reach the host after business hours (5pm) it’s difficult to get ahold of anyone. We also had to turn on the hot water and the pilot for the fireplace was not lit. If you don’t mind handling things on your own and no communication after hours this place is great for a family getaway!

Long winter weekend in the mountains.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great, not too far up the mountain but high enough for some good views. I wouldn't be too concerned going back and forth in the snow since it isn't too far up the mountain. It was close to the pool too. The location is also close to and central to the number of attractions in the area, including Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and ski resorts. Check in and check out were a breeze. It is a good unit for a family with the loft upstairs with two beds. Though I would suggest not having very young children in the loft since the door to the attic does not lock. If I had one recommendation it would be to add some hooks in the bathrooms for towels and some in the hallway for coats. We had a great experience and would stay there again.

Quiet Mountain Stay

This rental was centrally located to all of the activities we wanted to do. It was clean and quiet with enough space for our family (2 adults, a teen, and a preteen) to spread out. The kitchen setup was a little tight if several people were in the space but overall it was well equipped and everything worked well. While the dishwasher works fine, it was much louder than we're used to - definitely think about running it while you're out during the day instead of turning it on right before everyone goes to bed. We'd definitely stay here again in the future.
