House features full laundry, and dishwasher; off-street parking, large back patio and is within walking distance to both Downtown and nature trails. It is centrally located by road to all major tourist attractions and only one minute to the highway.

St. Claire's Hospital is a ten minute walk away and the Heath Science Centre a ten minute drive.

Enjoyed to the fullest with my love who havent seen in two months. Place really clean and cosy. I asked the host about a small christmas tree and he was so kind to go get one for us. We loved it and it was perfect!! Thank you for having us victor and andrea

Accommodation in sketchy area of town

The property is located in the sketchiest area of St. John's. We did not venture out in the evening and I would have felt more comfortable if there was a deadbolt on the door. The outside of the property needs some serious paint and cleanup. The backyard was overgrown and had junk in it. The inside was marginally clean and the furniture was tired. I washed some of the dishes before I used them. There is an oven and a microwave but no baking/cooking dishes that could be used except one cookie sheet. There were no paper towels either. Bottom line - I wouldn't recommend this property!

Excellent Stay

We spent just over a week and the accommodations were excellent. We walked downtown easily pretty much every evening. It provided great access to the highways and it was very spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Appartement vaste et confortable.

L’appartement est bien situé,il possède un stationnement privé et toujours libre pour les vas et viens. La cuisine est bien équipé mais une poelone anti-adhésive aurait été apprécié pour les œufs le matin mais il y avait de quoi se débrouiller. Les lits sont confortables une belle terrasse pour relaxer sans voisins à l’arrière. J’y retournerais. Proche du centre ville et très paisible.

Week in the city

Lovely house, really enjoyed the patio, central location so we walked almost everywhere. Even during a heat wave the fans and windows were enough to keep it comfortable.

Great Location

This apartment was walkable to downtown restaurants and bars and to the Delta Hotel to catch the hop on hop off bus tour. The inside was lovely and very clean.

The property was a great place to stay in a quiet neighbourhood. Easy to find, very comfortable, well stocked kitchen, and very clean.

Very lovely place to stay

Very nice modern apartment with all necessities provided. Beds super comfortable- towels comfortable and everything very clean. Located on a nice street walkable to the downtown restaurants- approx 20 minutes

Endroit propre et confortable

Endroit propre et confortable. Secteur tranquille. Les articles et équipements fournis, notamment pour la cuisine, sont minimalistes. Les instructions du propriétaire affichés sur le frigo concernant l’état des lieux exigés au départ sont quelque peu abusives considérant que nous payons des frais pour le ménage.

Great Location

Just minutes away from downtown and a short drive to many different tourist attractions and hiking trails. Victor was very helpful in suggesting tourist and non-tourist things to do and places to eat.

Long Weekend

The apartment was in an excellent location - less than a 15 minute drive to everything we were looking to do - shopping, Signal Hill, Cape Spear, MUN, etc... The apartment was nice & cozy! A much better weekend experience, compared to staying in a cramped hotel room! Renter was friendly & quick to reply. I would highly recommend!

The outside look didn't impress me, but the inside was exactly like the photos, very clean, tidy and inviting. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Nice place! Good location.

The place was as described and shown in pictures. Parking was difficult because of tight laneways but the owner was very helpful in figuring out parking for an extra-large truck. Our regular car was no problem. It was an easy walk downtown for us healthy older folks who walk regularly. Might not be so easy for people with mobility issues because of the hill. Shorter walk with less hill to St. Claire's Hospital was also easy.

Home Away St. John's

My wife and I and another couple stayed at home Away St. John's. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable, plenty of hot water for showers,dishes, and washing machine.Victor made check in very easy. It was a 20 minute walk to George Street, it is uphill all the way back. It was not a big problem for us, but people with mobility issues should plan on driving from here to local attractions. Also you need to be able to do stairs to stay here. It had a nice kitchen and everything was very clean. My only minor suggestion would be to spruce up some of the bathroom tiles with caulking when you get a chance, but overall it was a nice place to stay at a very reasonble price. I would ceratinly stay here again.
