White Sands Village is Kona's Premier Vacation Rental destination with ocean and mountain views. It's located directly across the street from Magic Sands Beach; the only white sand beach between Kailua & Keauhou.
The complex has a beautiful pool & spa area, lush tropical landscaping and two tennis courts. Other amenities include a paperback library and pool table area.
A large covered barbecue area located by the pool with four barbecues. White Sands Village is located between downtown Kailua and Keauhou where there are theaters, grocery stores, shops and restaurants!

Unit#118 has 920 interior square feet with a 196 square foot lanai with Pool & Ocean Views! Ceramic tile throughout. Washer & dryer in the unit. Very Large covered lanai! It comes with a covered parking area under the building for 1 vehicle.

Queen Sized Bed in the Master Bedroom, 2 twins in the 2nd bedroom. An Excellent choice for 4 people! The property has a fully equipped kitchen with gorgeous furnishings and Art Work to create an inviting experience to have the perfect Hawaiian Vacation!

ALL BOOKINGS NEED TO BE MADE AT LEAST 4 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. NO LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS ALLOWED THAT DON'T MEET THOSE REQUIREMENTS. The owners and housekeeping appreciate your understanding.

Magic Sands Perfection!

Exceptionally clean, VERY comfortable beds, well supplied kitchen, good furniture! Delighted to find plenty of essential toiletries, coffee filters, laundry soap, etc! The unit is tastefully decorated. Appreciated the quiet condo community. This is a community that values friendliness and a peaceful place to relax. LOVE IT!

Dream getaway

I love the location and accessibility of stores, restaurants and best part beach. The beach is right across the small street. The hosting company is very attentive and the home has everything you could possibly need. It’s been 6 months from our stay and my kids still talk about this vacation.

Amazing Kona Holiday

Perfect place for being close to everything in Kona and also quiet and private. Loved the condo and great kitchen with everything for meal prep. Across the street from beach and a great restaurant. Highly recommend.

Great Unit

Fantastic unit directly across from La Aloa Beach Park. Unit is clean, has all the beach gear you would ever need and is conveniently located by the elevator, near the pool and close to its parking spot. I strongly recommend this unit for you Hawaii island vacation

Great location and good ocean view.

If there were half stars, I'd give this condo 4 1/2 stars. It is quite small, but comfortable. We loved being within walking distance of the beach, and the beach area will be even nicer when the construction is done. I did not give it a perfect rating because, at a minimum, the kitchen floor and some furnishings need to be updated. Just a warning if you're retired and like peace and quite - try to get a unit in the upper building of the complex. That is because people really enjoy the pool that is between the two lower buildings. As a result, there is "happy" noise from the swimmers, especially in the evening.

rented other units at complex

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had to request a new toaster and microwave. it was to old and small.the toaster would heat.the light in the guest bath room wouldn't turn off.this unit needs to be paid attention to

Wonderful property, frustrating booking

The condo itself gets a 100% rave. However, there were additional charges that were less than obvious at the time of the booking that made it tempting to cancel. This included an agent's fee and the requirement for a sizable amount of cash/cashier's check security deposit. The deposit would be waived with he payment by buying security deposit insurance. That insurance would not cover a modest charge if the housekeeper determined that you left too much undone laundry. We will return here (and possibly buy one of the units some day), but probably will book a different unity under different management.

10 Days of Aloha

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently spent 10 days at this unit. The unit was as described in the listing. We loved the quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of town but still close enough to restaurants and stores. Parking couldn't have been more convenient to the location of the elevator/stairs and the unit. This made moving in and out a breeze! The management company was in constant contact to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We had a few minor hiccups that were easily rectified. I appreciate their diligence and precision with solutions. The unit is well furnished and has ample supplies for cooking. We loved the fact that there were supplies for the beach as well as snorkeling. Overall our stay was great and I wouldn't hesitate to return to this location.

Magical Vacation!

Our stay at White Sands Village was PERFECT and I would highly recommend this condo to everyone. Everything about the condo was great. The pool was great for my kids (ages 7, 9) although there was not much of a shallow end. During our stay, the beach was perfectly sandy (apparently it's called "magic sands beach" because sometimes the ocean carries the sand away, and it's only lava rock, and there's no way to predict when that might happen!). It was so easy to walk across the street to the beach, and the condo was packed with beach and pool toys, anything you could need! There was an outdoor hose at the condo to wash off the sand, both in the parking lot and by the pool. We grilled almost every night in the shared grill area. The condo itself was right by the pool, and we had a view of the sunset. We ate dinner on the large lanai every night (that was a GREAT space!). We appreciated the AC and the washer/dryer. I would stay in this condo again in a heartbeat. It was about a 12 minute drive into Kona for dining, shopping, or tours. The managing company was also very helpful because our flight arrived early and they allowed up to check into the room early. They were very responsive to my questions. I did not want to leave and I can't wait to come back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental unit #118 was clean and well appointed with beach amenities for vacation (boogie boards, pool noodles, umbrellas). The unit was spacious and perfect for my family of four. Loved the large porch. There are views of White Sands Beach, as well as the pool from the porch, which is great, except if there are loud people in the pool. The unit is directly over the pool. The quiet hours of the complex start at 10 pm. A couple nights there were loud groups at the pool for a while. This can be great if you are the group partying, but if you have little kids, it can be tough. The complex is well maintained. We used the pool and the communal grills, which were nice touch. The property manager was easy to get in touch with via text, which was good, since we had an issue with someone parking in our designated spot (resolved easily). Would be nice if there was an update Big Island Revealed book, beach bag and Tommy Bahama style chairs available. Loved that there was a washer/dryer but the w/d unit was hard to use.

Clean and Fully equipped

We loved our stay at this property. This is right in front of the Magic Sand Beach. The communication with the property management was very swift. Blake always responded to all my questions and requests very quickly. We didn't have any issues here. Its a quick 10 mins drive to happening downtown kona. And little over an hour drive away from most of the attractions either on the kohala side or the south side of the island. It would have been better of the living room was a little more roomier. This property has a parking spot right is right next to the elevator and even the rental itself is right in front of the elevator and that made it very easy move our luggage in and out. There is plenty of beach equipment available here we used 4 beach chairs, 1 lounge chair, 3 bodysurf boards, two beach mats, 2 umbrellas, 1 cooler, and a couple floating devices. (There are more stuff if needed). The pool area and the BBQ area is spacious, it good that the white sands beach managment takes care of cleaning this area frequently. Restroom near the pool are very clean. TV is little small and picture is not that clear as most recent led TVs, however, since we were exploring outside most of the time and only spent very less time watching TV that wasn't an issue for us. Plenty of extra linens and pillows, sheets and comforters. I would love to stay at this property agin on my next visit.

Amazing trip but I have a suggestion

You really really enjoyed everything but one suggestion is I did not like communicating most of your emails and having to download the website and things like that I have in the past always have a phone number that I could talk personally to a person what's my questions. So that made me feel a little bit apprehensive to do everything through the computer so I did call a few times and leave messages as well. But they did answer my questions as much as possible so I felt like a little nervous living emails and hoping that I got answered quickly. But they did answer me. But in the future I feel like you should allow people to make phone calls to someone and not just do everything for the computer. And to let you know that that unit still does need a large Skillet that has a lid that would fit if you do something like a hamburger helper that needs to be covered while it Cooks it does not fit in the little small pan that they brought to us. It won't even hold one family size 1 which is for like four people but when you have a condo that has six people in it we needed to have two boxes of Hamburger Helper 2 feed 6 of us. So there is a large Skillet in the condo but there's no lid. So we ended up using the largest Skillet we could find and we put that cookie sheet on top of it. But other than that we felt like everything was well-stocked. The other complaint is we did not like the fact that we had to spend our last day I paid extra money to stay there but we had to make sure that we did laundry and the laundry machine takes a while to do and dry a load. That has never happened and I have rented from VRBO probably 12 times in the past and no other unit has ever had a rule about washing laundry. And we also were told we had to strip all the beds. So this real I feel really needs to be considered.. but yes we did have an amazing week and the things people have left behind like the Bahama chairs and the ice chest everything that was great that is super necessary and we really appreciated that thanks so much will definitely went to me again

Perfect for an extended stay

My family of four stayed here for two weeks while my other family members also rented units from this same complex. This was the best solution to finding an affordable AND amazing place for our big family get together. The unit is comfortable with a good AC unit to keep things cool, VERY comfortable beds and fully stocked for you to enjoy your time. The washer and dryer work great. There are PLENTY of towels. The lanai has lots of of swim stuff as well. The pool is AMAZING. It's 8 feet deep at one end, has a shallower end, as well as a hot tub. There are literally only two drawbacks for my entire time here, and both of these are super manageable. The first is to get into the unit, you are going to scrape the bottom of your vehicle unless it's lifted a good ways. You can POSSIBLE get it to not scrape, but I did it twice in two weeks. So be ready. The driveway is also very narrow especially at the road, so be cautious. The second is the ocean. While absolutely gorgeous (seriously, the pictures that show the bright turquoise waters doesn't do it justice), this can be a bit of a rougher experience for people who aren't familiar with the water. So just a word of cautious for people to REALLY be careful. On a side note, there's a restaurant across the street and you can sit and enjoy a meal while watching people get eaten by the ocean. lol All in all, 10 out of 10, would DEFINITELY stay again, and will strongly recommend to anyone interested to go.
