We are located 14 miles outside of Munising, surrounded by the beautiful forests of the Upper Peninsula.

Quiet and secluded location allows for a relaxing stay, our lodge features 2 Bedrooms & 1 Bath,with fully equipped kitchen for you to cook your own meals or head to The Buckhorn Restaurant a short 3 minutes from your front door.

We can convert our 2 XL Twin Beds into a wonderful King size bed, just let us know what you prefer! Sleeps 4, but couch can be used for extra sleep space or bring air mattress for use in living room area if desired for extra guests.

Then get out and enjoy the areas many attractions located minutes away from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore & Lake Superior, as well as downtown Munising, Autrain Beaches and numerous waterfalls throughout the area,Valley Spur Bike Trails network & Munising Bay Trail Network.

After your days adventures come back and relax, and be amazed by the
night time sky in perfect view for star gazing!!

Very nice place...very cozy and comfortable..lots of room for 4 adults and 2 dogs.. nice secluded location..but close enough for all the attractions..very reasonable price . Everything you need to make your meals..including a gas grill.and kitchen supplies. We strongly recommend this as a nice place to stay.

Very quick to respond to our inquiries. Perfect place for our visit to Munising…. Quiet woodsy location a few miles from town but convenient to Buckhorn Lodge where we enjoyed great food.

We had our best time when we visited munising for the first time. Enjoyed all the scenery and loved that the house location was so close to downtown and beach activities. Loved how clean and organized the rental home was. We enjoyed the deck outside and the peacefulness we experienced late at night loved the board games they had available for our stay. It was perfect! We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family's and will make sure to visit again next summer

We really enjoyed having the Whi-poor-will Lodge to unwind and relax after our days of hiking at Pictured Rocks. It was so nice and quiet. My kids were happy to have TV time again,lol. And we all enjoyed the board games!

Nice furnished little cabin. Wife and I stayed two nights while we ventured around the UP for our anniversary. Nice and quiet location but still close to Munising.

Julie ensured we had excellent directions to arrive with no problem. Check-in was easy. Beds and pillows were comfy. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked. There were even filters and coffee for the coffee maker. Communication was quick; and though I had no need to meet her in person, Julie was very nice and cares about her guests. Pricing is very fair. I would recommend this property. The location is great being private and quiet, yet near to Munising and Pictured Rocks area.

It was comfortable, had everything we needed. It seemed a bit musty when we first got there but aired out overnight. Maybe carpet was just cleaned ? And not quite dry yet.

Everything went smoothly with this stay and was clean and ready for us. Plenty of extra bedding if needed. All the basic kitchen tools were available for our family which helped us control food costs. The only potential issue we ran into was the bathroom door doesn't close well, which wasn't a big deal for our family of four but might be uncomfortable for others.

Cute little cottage. Tucked back on a dirt road with lots of trees. Julie was great to deal with. Always responded and helpful. Within 15 minutes from Munising. It had just rained and the only bummer was how thick the mosquitoes were. Otherwise it was wonderful.
