Cozy, 3 bedroom home situated just above the Yaquina Bay and only 10-15 minutes from the Oregon Coast! Wrap-around deck affords a fantastic view of the bay and perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning! King size bed in the downstairs bedroom and 2 bedrooms upstairs, the first one with a double bed and the second with 3 twin beds. This home has a woodstove so bring some firewood if you choose to use it. There is also a large firepit perfect for family bonfire nights!

Family vaca 2024

Had a blast with my family. We will do this again :-) cobblestone pizza was great. 20 minutes from south jetty which was great. Tide pools, saw all sorts of crabs and star fish.

The house is cozy and located in the woods. We had everything that we needed. Communication was a breath. Everything is green and smells so good! Thank you, we will come back!

Great Stay

The house was adorable and very cozy. We loved how it was close to town but still private without a bunch of traffic. We would definitely stay again!

AMAZING

I had everything I needed and wanted at tgw house. It was clean, bright and mire than fully stocked. It felt like home and the owner is an amazing lady! I will rent this home again!!

Restful Retreat

This cabin/house is located in a beautiful setting. It was very quiet and peaceful. We saw 4 deer, too. We enjoyed a very nice reunion with our daughter and two young adult grandchildren. Cozy, clean and comfortable describe the house. We enjoyed the deck in perfect weather. Very enjoyable couple of days.

Peaceful and quiet

Really beautiful property surrounded in a woodsy area with views of the bay, the stars and lots of wildlife. Berries grow freely and these is lots of exploring to do. The house was quaint with all the amenities anyone would need. The dining room has a nice view and the wrap around deck have so much space for activities. Our last night was a bonfire and s’mores. Very enjoyable. We will definitely stay again!

Very chill

We loved staying here, and the owner is wonderful. If you're looking for peace and quiet only minutes from the coast, this is the place for you. We would definitely stay here again.

One month stay

Peaceful getaway by the bay

My wife and I stayed here for 5 weeks and really loved the peaceful surroundings of this lovely family home. The deck is amazing and we spent every morning (when it wasn't raining) outside on it. Coffee, lunch, grilling. It feels like you're in a tree house the way you're surrounded by green and birds. We saw deer in the yard almost everyday, and went on a lot of fantastic day trips up and down the Oregon Coast. We enjoyed our stay and were very happy we had the chance to enjoy this house.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

We stayed here for three months this spring and loved every second. The homrehas everything you need, a beautiful porch, and total privacy. You can see the bay from your window and are a short scenic drive to Newport. Don't hesitate to book! We hope to come back one day.

Not as pet friendly as listed

We had zero contact with the property manager. The owner was extremely overbearing in the situation. The property is touted as being pet friendly but there are several restrictions on where your pet is allowed in the house. They also asked that we lift up all of the rugs to keep the dog off of it. I understand pay allergies but you should not tell your property is pet friendly. We found out they do not change or wash the sheets in between tenants. All in all it was a beautiful place, I just felt like we were being watched the entire time and that did make it very uncomfortable.

Cozy with a great view.

Great place with a lot of privacy, beautiful view with a wonderful place outside to site around the fire to enjoy the peaceful surroundings with a feeling of being in the forest.

Charming quiet comfort near the beach

This place is a bargain. Just 20 minutes from the beach with a view of the bay. Small home but with a nice floor plan that let everyone have their space. Very comfortable furniture including bedding. The kitchen was clean and had everything you can imagine for doing any cooking that you might want. We very much enjoyed our time here and would stay again.

We are located close enough to town for gas and groceries, yet the house is quiet and deer often wander into the yard! Staying at our family home is like taking a few steps back in time... Be prepared to hand wash your dishes while gazing out our kitchen window at the beautiful sunrise!

The weather is usually much warmer at our house on the bay than at the beach. A dock is within walking distance and a perfect place to put a kayak or canoe in the water. We have a firepit for storytelling and s'mores around the fire. Be sure to look for the millions of stars in the sky!
