Quiet, pet-friendly home with a view of the Yaquina Bay minutes to the coast!

Cozy, quiet, 3 bedroom home situated just above the Yaquina Bay and only 10-15 minutes from the Oregon Coast! Wrap-around deck affords a fantastic view of the bay and perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning! King size bed in the downstairs bedroom and 2 bedrooms upstairs, the first one with a double bed and the second with 3 twin beds. This home has a woodstove so bring some firewood if you choose to use it. There is also a large firepit perfect for family bonfire nights!

Great Stay

The house was adorable and very cozy. We loved how it was close to town but still private without a bunch of traffic. We would definitely stay again!

First visit to the Pacific coast

Amazing, quiet spot with lots to enjoy

Wonderfully kept, stocked, and located - a short drive to Newport or Nye Beach. House had plenty of amenities, spent most time at the house either on the wrap porch or at the fire pit. All kinds of wildlife in the area. Super quiet. A must stay home!

Beautiful house close to the coast!

Myself, my husband, and our two 13 y/o’s stayed here. It was a great experience! It’s quiet, in a lovely area within walking distance to the river, and has chickens and deer across the road! Bed was super comfortable, windows were a bit janky but not an issue.

Family Vaca 2024

We stayed at the house for about a week. The house was great, there were deer that wandered into the yard almost daily which was super cool and the kids loved it. Place was very clean, communication was very frequent, no complaints. Very cute little place.

The house is cozy and located in the woods. We had everything that we needed. Communication was a breath. Everything is green and smells so good! Thank you, we will come back!

One month stay

Beautiful cabin in the woods

We stayed here for three months this spring and loved every second. The homrehas everything you need, a beautiful porch, and total privacy. You can see the bay from your window and are a short scenic drive to Newport. Don't hesitate to book! We hope to come back one day.

Relaxing

This house was very cozy. View from the porch was amazing. Looked down over the bay and the deer were down the hill every day. Drive into Newport was not too far. We loved the little town of Toledo. Enjoyed our vacation very much!!!!

Peaceful and quiet

Really beautiful property surrounded in a woodsy area with views of the bay, the stars and lots of wildlife. Berries grow freely and these is lots of exploring to do. The house was quaint with all the amenities anyone would need. The dining room has a nice view and the wrap around deck have so much space for activities. Our last night was a bonfire and s’mores. Very enjoyable. We will definitely stay again!

So nice

Oh I want to come back! Just a bit confused about the trash situation. We had fires in the fire pit and burned our paper trash each night so we only had a small bag of trash so we put it in the trash can. Other then that it was pretty straight forward. Lots of great tourist sites. We even went to the Toledo farmers market.The weather even cooperated!! And we even had a deer visit the yard!!

Rugs

We were told pet friendly but once there and reading hand written instructions after being in house, are told to pick up all carpets as owners are highly allergic. Told not to let little dog in bed or on furniture. There was pet waste around outside we felt we needed to pick up so to not be accused. The house was wonderful and the location great. Just don’t bring pet. It should not be listed as pet friendly.

Not as pet friendly as listed

We had zero contact with the property manager. The owner was extremely overbearing in the situation. The property is touted as being pet friendly but there are several restrictions on where your pet is allowed in the house. They also asked that we lift up all of the rugs to keep the dog off of it. I understand pay allergies but you should not tell your property is pet friendly. We found out they do not change or wash the sheets in between tenants. All in all it was a beautiful place, I just felt like we were being watched the entire time and that did make it very uncomfortable.

Excellent summer vacation getaway

My family and I stayed at Yaquina Bay House for 2 weeks and had a very relaxing and restful stay. The Oregon coast is really beautiful and Toledo is a great location for getting to a lot of it. The house was extremely intimate for a large family, but comfortable. I recommend this property for anybody wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city to enjoy some of the peace and quiet of small town life.

We are located close enough to town for gas and groceries, yet the house is quiet and deer often wander into the yard! Staying at our family home is like taking a few steps back in time... Be prepared to hand wash your dishes while gazing out our kitchen window at the beautiful sunrise!

The weather is usually much warmer at our house on the bay than at the beach. A dock is within walking distance and a perfect place to put a kayak or canoe in the water. We have a firepit for storytelling and s'mores around the fire. Be sure to look for the millions of stars in the sky!
