122 Middle Terrace – Avalon House

Breathtaking views from every room! Beautifully two level home with approximately 2,500 sq ft, located on the desirable terraces allowing incredible panoramic views of Avalon and harbor. This two story main residence has been renovated with some original details retained. Main level consist of a living room with a wood burning fireplace, open living area with large windows to capture the remarkable views, gourmet kitchen & top of the line appliances.

Lower level contains the three bedroom with TVs and access to balcony offering city and ocean views. The master bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, sitting area, large closet and beautiful master bathroom with dual sink. Guest bedroom with queen size bed, closet and shared, guest bathroom in the hallway. Third room has a Queen bed.

Both levels of the house feature a large balcony with plenty of seating, bbq and amazing views of the ocean, casino, green pier and more.
The house comes with a complimentary 6 passenger limo-style golf cart.

Additional Features: Fireplace, air conditioner, laundry room, golf cart, bbq. 122MT

QUIET HOURS: 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (use of outdoor areas strictly prohibited).

THE WORK WILL BE PERFORMED AT THE BACK ENTRANCE OF THE PROEPRTY LOCATED AT THE END OF MIDDLE TERRACE. This will include: drilling, loud machinery, intermittent road closure, traffic delays. Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (some days may extend to 7:00 p.m.**********

Very scenic property overlooking Avalon Bay, wonderful views, great location. We enjoyed the easy access to the town. Definitely would come back.

Very spacious and homey. Beautiful views. Golf cart was a big plus! Beds were very comfortable. My only complaint would be they really need to step up their towels. They were too small (motel style). Great place for family memories.

Beautiful home spectacular views, perfectly appointed for a family or small group of griends to gather. Easy to get to activities by walking or taking the cart. The 6 seat cart is a huge bonus.

Nice getaway with the family

Nice getaway with the family With a Father’s Day celebration and our anniversary. We loved the beautiful three bedroom 2 1/2 bath house with a nice Waterview!

We love this place and stay one a year, however it is a little out dated and the now 2 year construction project across the street starts a little early most days.

Gorgeous view

Really nice place! Roomy and clean with amazing views from the decks.Only drawback (for some) is lots of stairs (bedrooms downstairs) and shortcut to town if you want to walk there (vs use the golf cart) which was tough for one of our party. Only other suggestion would be to add a sunshade for deck as it gets very warm in the afternoonVery enjoyable stay

Beautiful view!

Best part was coffee on the balcony watching the birds and the water! Very spacious for our family of 5. Comfortable and well equipped. And the golf cart an added luxury and a must to get around!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here. The view is beyond amazing and the house was very clean. The golf cart was priceless and really made the trip special for my kids. Going to the market in the golf cart came a highlight. We will go back for sure.

Big house with amazing views

The house is very well equipped and the view from the balcony is amazing. The house was clean and as described. The property manager’s communication was excellent. The only snag we had was getting blocked in by utility workers for 2 afternoons. The house is on a dead end street. We would stay here again.

My husband and I visited the island in January and loved it so much, we decided to return for spring break. This experience was NOT as pleasant as our first. There were NO directions on how to get to the house. The message chair was so gross I couldn’t even look at it let alone sit in it. We all (including a 16 yr old) felt the beds were extremely uncomfortable to point of back pain in the morning. The biggest down fall for me was all the person things in the house. The night stand in the master had junk in almost every drawer. I felt like I was staying at my Uncles house. Luckily the deck was very enjoyable and having a golf cart was a bonus.

What a view

Check in was easy with the keys in a coded box. The view is incredible. Some past people said that the afternoon sun was very intense, so we brought a beach umbrella and it worked perfect. There were plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, and a nice grill on the deck. The downstairs has a similar deck and view, however we spent most of our time upstairs. The six-passenger golf cart is in like new condition. We brought our boat over so went back and forth during the stay. Communication with the manager and host was easy.Can't wait to go back.

Best view of Avalon!

This home has an amazing view of Avalon. We sat outside anytime we could to take advantage of its location. The house has everything one could need, including air conditioning and the convenience of being able to use a 6-seater golf cart! If you opt not to use the golf cart and want some exercise, there is a fairly lengthy and yet conveniently located staircase nearby that drops you right into Avalon very quickly. It is important to note that you walk into the living room from the front door and all of the bedrooms are downstairs, so this could be an issue for some people. However, there is a convenient half bath located on the main level as well, which I don't think is mentioned in the listing. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Avalon Gem

Overall the property was great! The layout was perfect, the lanai, living room, and kitchen were very spacious. Views are phenomenal and ease in to town in both the golf cart and when we chose to walk were easy and quick. There is is a stair case leading straight down to the main waterfront street a few doors down. The extent of kitchen equipment, dishes, etc were more than most rentals we have experienced. Only minor complain was the cleanliness in the details. Several dishes were dirty and the cabinets and drawers had dust and food particles. It needs a deep clean that looks to not have been done in quite some time. I’m sure they’ll correct that and be a 5 star across the board. Bedding and bathrooms were clean so we felt comfortable overall. Thank you for an easy and wonderful stay!

Wonderful stay for a ladies' trip. The view was gorgeous and beds very comfy. There is a master with a large bathroom where 2 ladies shared a room, then 2 other bedrooms with one shared bath. So advantages for everyone. The golf cart was so helpful and it was also great that we could walk out the back gate, and in a short descending trek, be on the boardwalk within minutes. Wave to "Noodles" on your way up and down the road! The ride to the gas station has a nice view of the ocean alongside the island and we used a whopping 1 gallon of gas for the entire week stay. Best restaurants in our opinion are 'M" and Lobster Trap. The only thing we needed more of was towels (and they weren't all that big or comfy, but that was a minor inconvenience). We asked for additional towels and they were delivered timely. Thanks!

Christmas in Catalina Island

We had a very nice stay at this property. Overall, the house was perfectly situated to see the bay and lights of Avalon at night. We took advantage of the beautiful kitchen with well-stocked cooking implements. The golf cart is a must on the island - we took long drives around town and into the mountains. The only issue we encountered when checking in was the sticky lockbox - three people tried to unlock the lockbox but the lever was stuck. This may have been due to the light rain. Fortunately, the garage door was unlocked and we were able to enter the property after 40 minutes of waiting outside.
