This is a great vacation home for families. The upper portion of a modern triplex, it offers 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and approximately 1300 sq.ft. of living space. There are french doors leading to a large wrap around balcony with great ocean and hillside views. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and a 40-inch flat panel TV, and all three bedrooms have TVs. This property comes with the complimentary use of a 6 passenger golf cart. 300MAR | | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day).

Easy to access the unit, was able to check in early which was nice. Spacious floor plan. A deep clean, fresh coat of paint, and a little TLC would make the experience of the renter so much better.

Fun family trip

We had a fun family trip on the Island. We love going to Catalina and exploring the Island and eating at the wonderful restaurants and shopping. This was a wonderful place to stay and we would love to stay again. The host was very easy to contact and it was very easy to access the property. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. Thanks for everything.

Wedding week

The view was great off the balcony. The house needs some definite love and cleaning and upgrading for the price we paid. The bedrooms were nice, the bathrooms needed work. We could have used more kitchen towels and bathroom towels.The golf cart was handy but difficult to manipulate.

Catalina stay on Mar

Overall ok, However, lack of basic amenities was disappointing We didn't have soap in both bathrooms and contact with host about some details of our visit was overlooked. Our introduction to the home upon our arrival was non existent. The woman who let us in didn't bother to introduce herself.

Perfect spot for a catalina vacation

We had 4 adults and 2 kids ages 8 & 12. The place was in great shape, and the 6 person golf cart made getting around town a breeze. Big bonus points to the landlord for allowing an early check-in, we had a rough ferry ride over and half our group was not feeling well - so getting to check in early was HUGE for recovering and settling in. The kitchen was well stocked, working BBQ, solid wifi, tvs in every room, and the views from the balcony were excellent. Two thumbs up!

Good Time

The golf court is our only complaint. We were definitely great full for it but it takes a good 5-7 mins before it will start going and that was rather annoying.

what a mess!

We had to wipe down most of the fridge and still couldn't get all the old food dried-up inside. Dishes and table had dried up food. Bathroom showers full of hair. The arms on the white chairs at the table were grey from all the dirt. Overall the place was considerably run down. Didn't need to communicate with property management at any point.

Dated condo. Good location

Great location and use of golf cart was big plus. Unit was very old and dated. Carpet was stained. Towel and toilet paper holders were broken in bathroom (just torn off and not replaced) minimal lighting. Very minimal pantry (basically just salt and pepper and coffee filters). Bedsheets were clean but need to be replaced. Worn so thin in areas you could see through them. Washer and dryer in unit was convenient. Bare minimum for rental however this is our experience in general for Catalina island.

Nice View but Needs Updating

The host was kind enough to let us check in earlier but it wasn’t until the day of that we found out. We also got a complimentary one hour late check out because they didn’t have anyone coming in that day but gave us the ok that morning of check out. The view of the home is wonderful. It’s a bit high up if you are walking up and down the street. there is one 6 person cart, which was very, very helpful. Main issue is that it has a lot of areas that need upkeep, including the two bathrooms. The kitchen was not fully stacked, as it should be. The towels were not plenty, especially, the bath towels, as it should be. They did not have any beach towels. The newest item was the washer & dryer, but it did not have any detergent for the clothes. There was a Bounce box that was empty. It had barely any Items for cleaning the table or the kitchen. So, some things were very limited. It needs a little bit of a touchup & TLC to make it a wonderful place. The shower water was horrible. Barely any pressure. Overall clean, but because of the very old bathrooms, and some of the kitchen cabinets, it didn’t give off too much of a clean vibe. Also, covers and pillows were limited. For the price I paid on a non-holiday weekend, we expected a lot more.

Large group of Friends

Great location with a wrap around porch that has a great view of the water. Bedrooms were great but the balcony was the highlight. Spacious living room as well. Would stay here again!

Great place to stay!

We had a great nights stay in the home and had to, unfortunately, leave early for a family emergency on the mainland and so we couldn’t enjoy our full time there. I would book again

Nice place, golf cart was very handy

The photos of the house are pretty accurate, only one that was a bit misleading was the view from the porch which has a lot of obstructions and most of the water that you see is open ocean. House is in an interesting residential area and without the golf cart it would have been brutal getting up and down the hill. Washer and dryer are extremely old so don’t plan on doing laundry while there. Other than that it does the trick. Communication with property management was a bit frustrating as none of my emails before the trip were responded to and I left voicemails as well. On the day of check in the text communication was pretty easy but also missing necessary information. Definitely going back to Catalina but not sure I’ll book this same spot.

I would highly suggest this rental, we really enjoyed our time there. One complaint is that the plumbing sucked in the toilet! Having to flush several times and plunge constantly. Not what you expect in a rental at that price. But over all loved our stay there! The check in and out was painless and all done over my phone. Great Job!

Condition of house

The property needs a update painting, new flooring, better cleaning crewing, our bath mats were dirty, and the refrigerator and dining table were smudged and sticky. Beds mattress covers were falling apart. Probably the saving grace of this property is having the golf cart included. Although we had a nice family vacation you might want to check with your property cleaning crew

Great Catalina Get Away

Great accommodations for a group like ours. We had three senior couples staying together. Large living area for hanging out and a nice wrap around balcony with a view to the harbor. The golf cart included was wonderful and perfect for our group. I would be inclined to stay here again in the future.

Birthday Weekend

My family and I had a great weekend! So thankful for the golf cart and early check in (which never usually happens) since I sprained my ankle a few days before the trip. I loved having my coffee in the morning with a beautiful view. We will definitely come back again, thank you!
