This is a great vacation home for families. The upper portion of a modern triplex, it offers 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and approximately 1300 sq.ft. of living space. There are french doors leading to a large wrap around balcony with great ocean and hillside views. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and a 40-inch flat panel TV, and all three bedrooms have TVs. This property comes with the complimentary use of a 6 passenger golf cart. QUIET HOURS: 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (use of outdoor areas strictly prohibited). 300MAR | | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day).

Location very good. Bathrooms terrible, needs upgrade. Kitchen cabinets needs improvement. Vrbo pictures do not show real cabinets stage. Bedrooms good and comfortable. Some balcony chairs and table not clean.

Overall the stay was good for the price we paid & for the location. I was in Catalina with myself & 5 family members for a wedding we were attending in & other wedding events throughout the weekend. Upon arriving we realized the golf cart didn’t work - when we contacted the property management they were quick to get people out to us within a few minutes. They ended up towing our 6 person cart & providing us with a 4 person cart - this cart was incredibly run down and was difficult to operate. We booked this location knowing we had a cart with enough space to get all 6 of us to and from the wedding events, of which some of us had to walk given there was not enough space on the cart & taxis are very difficult to get - while the cart swap was appreciated it was not ideal. They told us we might get the 6 seater back the next day & they would contact us. I was not contacted & had to call (no answer) & then go in person to check the status of the cart. They ended up texting me later that afternoon saying it would not be fixed during our stay. I had responded acknowledging that this had incredibly inconvenienced us on our trip & we expected to be credited appropriately. They said they would escalate this to upper management & now, even after returning from our trip I have not heard from anyone. This inconvenience caused a logistical nightmare for what should have been a fun and relaxing weekend. Overall, very disappointed in the lack of communication & the overall situation.

The good, the bad and the ugly -Good: Six passenger golf cart came in very handy. Remodeled kitchen with new appliances was nice. Lovely views from balcony. Bad: This property accommodates eight guests, as long as they’re extremely quiet between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am. Downstairs tenants apparently complained and we weren’t even playing any music, just typical family jocularity. Ugly: Bathrooms are in desperate need of remodeling and bbq grill was falling apart to the point of food contamination, (see photos)Summary: Even at the holiday weekend rate of 1,100 per night, we expected a little more cleanliness and quality. As the renters agreement states, “…..the golf cart is complementary and not included in the price of the rental”, so this convenience has no bearing on the price.

Great location with a wrap around porch that has a great view of the water. Bedrooms were great but the balcony was the highlight. Spacious living room as well. Would stay here again!

Fun family trip

We had a fun family trip on the Island. We love going to Catalina and exploring the Island and eating at the wonderful restaurants and shopping. This was a wonderful place to stay and we would love to stay again. The host was very easy to contact and it was very easy to access the property. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. Thanks for everything.

Easy to access the unit, was able to check in early which was nice. Spacious floor plan. A deep clean, fresh coat of paint, and a little TLC would make the experience of the renter so much better.

The location of the house and the use of the golf cart was great. Living room and the kitchen was big and great for gatherings and very comfortable. Overall, the house should have been cleaner. There was dust on several surfaces and hair on the carpeting that gathered when walking barefoot in the bedrooms. The bathrooms were very dated and in need of repair. We were afraid that the showered knob was going to fall off when in use. This could be a great property with updates to the bath and bedrooms and a bit more careful cleaning.

Perfect spot for a catalina vacation

We had 4 adults and 2 kids ages 8 & 12. The place was in great shape, and the 6 person golf cart made getting around town a breeze. Big bonus points to the landlord for allowing an early check-in, we had a rough ferry ride over and half our group was not feeling well - so getting to check in early was HUGE for recovering and settling in. The kitchen was well stocked, working BBQ, solid wifi, tvs in every room, and the views from the balcony were excellent. Two thumbs up!

Wedding week

The view was great off the balcony. The house needs some definite love and cleaning and upgrading for the price we paid. The bedrooms were nice, the bathrooms needed work. We could have used more kitchen towels and bathroom towels.The golf cart was handy but difficult to manipulate.

Good Time

The golf court is our only complaint. We were definitely great full for it but it takes a good 5-7 mins before it will start going and that was rather annoying.

Catalina stay on Mar

Overall ok, However, lack of basic amenities was disappointing We didn't have soap in both bathrooms and contact with host about some details of our visit was overlooked. Our introduction to the home upon our arrival was non existent. The woman who let us in didn't bother to introduce herself.
