The location and view are fantastic.The house is a "funky little shack" and not really in a good way. The house and grounds need some loving care.

Everything was perfect, the beach view, the location, the communication with the host. So easy to check in and the house was so nicely kept together. The recliner chairs were so comfy.

This was a comfortable place to stay on the beach. The home is older but very nice.

The path to the beach was just off the porch and was a short walk. The view of the ocean from the living room/kitchen area was amazing. Tides were negative when we visited. The jetty was about a 1/2 mile walk which provided easy access to tide pools. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were firm. The host provided details related to our stay and was quick to respond to questions.

This property is my perfect Oregon coast house. When I go to the beach, I want comfy, million dollar view, beach access, wood burning fireplace and my dog being welcome. This house hit all the marks! It’s funky and fun. Neighborhood is super quiet. We will definitely return.

This location had fabulous beach access which is what we were looking for. Everything inside was clean and in working order.

We loved our stay at LaPlaya. The location simply can't be beat: slow morning coffee on the covered deck looking at the magical ocean. The house is was clean. Bedding great. Vintage 1970 touches that make this house feel like a home.

Place is rather dated, but cozy and comfortable. Beautiful deck overlooking the ocean! Fairly well stocked and clean. A few items were not cleaned prior to out arrival, but were trivial (cutting board and plastic bowl). Overall a great place to stay to enjoy the waves and get away.

Excellent location, just walk out to the waves. Neighborhood was nice and quiet, removed from the rt 101 traffic. Lots of beach walking & wave viewing. Place was clean, dated, but reasonably maintained. King bed mattress was excellent. Nice upgrades - refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, dryer. Grocery stores in Manzanita are good, but nonexistant in Rockaway Beach. Simple answer - we'd come back.

Great beach house for family and dogs

Very comfortable, nothing fancy, traditional beach house, just the way we like it. Path to the water right outside the back door. great to have the decks so the dogs could go outdoors without us always having to take them out.

Better than advertised!

This is by far the best house we’ve stayed at on the coast. The location of the house was perfect. It was private, quiet, and right on the beach. Great for the dogs to run around. The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Huge fan of the deck to watch the sunset and relax. Can’t wait to come back!

Family weekend

La Playa was the perfect house for us! Loved the closeness of the beach and how the house was situated with big windows and the deck to enjoy the view. We really enjoyed the surrounding area, did some crabbing and a little bit of shopping, it was a great weekend! We will be back. Thank you!!

We had a great time. Affordable price for this stay right on the beach. Older place with several cobwebs around. Loved some of the older decor/light fixtures. Cute. Wish there were cleaning supplies available for daily cleanup, like countertop spray or wipes. Also, the microwave handle was broke/cracked and one of these days, it’s going to snap off and won’t be able to be opened.

Great location and view

Nice property with funky decor. Loved the gated deck and the kitchen had really good pans and all in kitchen was clean. It was a great house for a dog, no carpet except one bedroom. It would have been nice to know that the Spectrum App was how you got to live TV channels, discovered it on the 3 or 4 th day of our week long stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: great house. Bed was super comfortable. The downstairs is perfect for kids but it could use a couch/bed in the back corner. on the beach with great access

Perfect House, Great Value

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Retro house stunning view

Overall the view, covered deck & beach access were good. Purchased a baking sheet and updated ice cream scoop for the next person. Most other essentials were available and king bed comfortable. If it's hot, bring a fan to assist the ocean breeze. If it's cold remember wood for woodstove. Thank you and enjoy the sea.
