We had an excellent experience at this condo. It was clean, the beds and furniture comfortable & the view was outstanding! We had no issues with the condo or the host. Everything was taken care of & we'll definitely be back!

We were extremely pleased with the unit. Very clean and well stocked with anything we might have forgotten. Balcony view was incredible. And the balcony chairs were very comfortable. Other reviews were accurate about the parking area being tight. We were very happy the rental umbrellas and lounge chairs were included. They allowed people with chairs and umbrellas to set up at the water's edge in front of the rental umbrellas. But tents and popups were not allowed. The people that put up popups would put them up early in the morning to get the prime spots. I was surprised people were allowed to fish right where swimming was. It appears dangerous to have large hooks in the same area as swimmers.

This is a beautiful condo with breathtaking views of the Gulf. We watched the sunset from the balcony every night. We had a great time and will be back!

February 2021 Stay

We had a a absolute blast here. Tropic Winds 1609 has superb location for the best beach and ocean views. Quick driving distance from other attractions as well. We loved staying here and can’t wait to come back again!

Amazing Balcony Sunsets!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The balcony sunsets are amazing. Read the disclaimer about the deposit. It takes about 3 weeks to get the deposit back. There was an issue with the thermostat but they were quick to respond. Located on the west side of town so less traffic, wifi was stong, it was clean, comfortable beds, and the paper towels were high quality and not the cheap ones that just move water around.

Great Condo, Great Location

Tropic Winds is a great location -- on the beach, and was not crowded. The elevators did not take long, and the property is well maintained. Our condo was clean and nicely decorated. We would definitely book again!

Best condo in the panhandle!

This condo was so clean!! The beds so comfortable! The whole condo had beautiful upgrades. All around the best we’ve found on the panhandle. The rental company was responsive and eager to help whenever we had a question. Highly recommend!

June 2025 Stay

My husband and I couldn't have been more pleased with our unit. Amazing views, beautiful condo. We had everything we needed. Very quiet and couldn't hear any of our neighbors. Unit was very clean, comfortable beds. We will definitely be back again. We hate that we have to go back home and wish we could stay forever.

The unit itself was absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean, and the views were spectacular—exactly as described. Unfortunately, the overall property and amenities left quite a bit to be desired.Parking was extremely tight, and it was very difficult for visiting family members to find a place to park. The unit was also inadequately stocked for six guests, with only about a quarter of a roll of toilet paper in one bathroom and half a roll in the other.We were disappointed with the beach umbrella service as well. Setup was late, and the umbrellas were later taken down due to wind gusts, so we really did not get to enjoy that amenity.I had communicated several times that we were locals staying to celebrate my daughter’s 13th birthday. While I certainly did not expect anything elaborate, I was surprised there was no acknowledgment at all—not even a simple note wishing her a happy birthday. A small personal touch would have meant a lot.The property itself could use some renovations and updating, particularly in the common areas. Overall, the unit was beautiful, clean, and had truly spectacular views, but the amenities and overall guest experience did not quite match the quality of the unit itself.
