Everything was right on. Pet friendly places that actually MEAN pet friendly are so hard to find. This place is a gem.

Great little cabin

We came up to Little Loon for a week long stay, it was the perfect honeymoon destination for my wife and I. Cozy little cabin with lots to do in the area! Absolutely loved our stay!

The cottage was really cute and everything was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that it was a bit dim; a lamp by the stove would've been nice. I would stay here again.

Pros: Location, hosts and dog friendly1. Location was close to Lutsen, Grand Marais and 3 state parks2. Dog friendly meant we could take our furry friend along3. Hosts were friendly, communicated well and helpful.Cons: Kitchen1. Anytime the oven was used the whole place had a gas scent and the oven worked mediocre at best. We had to open the windows whenever we used it or the fire alarm went off. 2. Trying to do too much in a small space (couch, double bed, stove, microwave, fridge, kitchen table) made the place seem even smaller than the listing appeared with the picture.

Great little cabin to come back to post adventures on the SHT. Warm fire and the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in away from home.

Adorable cabin

Adorable cabin in a quiet area between lutsen and grand marais. Perfect place for a mom and me get away. They even had a doggie blanket for our pup!

Anniversary Weekend Away

We had an amazing time at the Little Loon Cottage. The space was clean and cozy, and very quiet. It is a perfect little house tucked in the corner of the woods with the lake just across the way. We can’t wait to stay again.

Cozy Cabin

We absolutely love Little Loon! We can bring our dogs, enjoy a fire, and it's close to Grand Marais as well as many hikes. It's comfortable and well stocked.

Comfy, cozy cabin near everything we love to experience on the north shore of Lake Superior - welcoming hosts, quiet evenings in front of the fireplace, miles of hiking trails, gorgeous views, waterfalls, and all the local artisans who make the area so special! We will be back!

Winter get away

We enjoy the trails in and around Lutsen and Grand Marais and Little Loon is located in the perfect spot. This was our second stay as it’s just a great cozy little cottage for the two of us and our little Border Terrier, Sophie.

Two delightful nights.

We wanted a rustic cabin close to the waterfall hikes near Lake Superior. It proved to be a great location for that, and the cabin is very private and quaint. We loved it.

Bike race weekend.

The Little Loon was perfect for the two of us and our dog. Great location near Lutsen with a beautiful road for walking. The owner also has an awesome shop on the property with treasures from local artists. Thanks for sharing your cozy cabin with us!

Cozy Home Away From Home

We love the little loon! Perfect for anyone looking for a studio cabin to rest and relax after a day of adventures or to cozy up in front of the fireplace for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new favorite place to stay!

Ski trip

My husband and I stayed at Little Loon for a couple nights. It was the perfect base camp for skiing at Lutsen Mountains and exploring nearby State parks. The fireplace and full kitchen was a hit! Thanks for sharing this awesome little cabin.

Little Loon

This property was perfect. It was adorable. Had everything that we needed and some. Wonderful location to hit up some of the state parks. Our dog Miles enjoyed his stay! We will definitely be returning.

Little Loon is Perfect!

Little Loon was exactly what we needed. We had planned a kid free ski weekend and Little Look had everything you’d need and nothing you didn’t. A super cozy and well stocked cabin 10 minutes from Lutsen. Private and on a cool piece of property where you could hear the waves. Would recommend and definitely be back!
