Everything was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the pond and the house was really nice and clean. View was great and my son enjoyed seeing the animals and wildlife around the property.

We had an amazing months-long stay at this cabin. Chris is a fantastic host and checked in regularly. We loved the deer, pony, and donkey that we could interact with daily. The property is so beautiful and the front porch sitting can’t be beat! The main pond was not fishable and was quite low due to lack of rain this summer — so if you’re interested in fishing I would double check with Chris on the condition of the pond. There is a second fishable pond within walking distance through the woods, so that was nice. We plan to come back and definitely recommend this cabin! It’s conveniently located to Fort Payne as well as the various canyons and waterfalls in the area.

Secluded property, perfect for a quiet get away. Access to anything you might need still only 10 minutes away. We couldn't be happier with our stay. Cabin, hot tub, pond, fire pit, covered porch, everything just as pictured and advertised. Our host was available but not intrusive. Best vacation we've had in a long while!

This place was absolutely stunning! Very clean! The host was extremely nice and helpful! We got to feed the donkey, mini- horse and even got to pet a deer!! We will for sure be back!!

Great host. Cabin was clean and amenities were as described in the listing. Kids enjoyed fishing and the paddle boat. We had a lot of fun watching the deer and turkeys while drinking coffee on the porch.
