Wedding & Summer Vacation

Came for Bach wedding and made a summer vacation also. Had a Great time! The condo was everything we needed! Have patience for the elevators if it’s peak season.

The suite was clean however the following things did not work upon arrival - bathroom sinks did not drain, lamp light near master bedroom - one did not work. Overall for this suite 3 is appropriate. The Shores of Panama does keep a clean facility but provides nothing as for security and safety for guests. This place has become more of an out of control Spring Break for adolescents-real bad and the out of control, untrained weapons use on the beach that guests staying here consider ours. Two separate nights of shootings on the beach, young adults vomiting off the patio’s 19 stories high, extremely loud music from several patios really scared young grandkids. Zero security. Police handled shootings investigations. Uhm…buyer beware.

Shores of Panama

Property is nice. Pool is nice with a great view of beach and Gulf. Negative side is the elevators are slow due to number of floors with multiple people getting on and stopping at every floor. Also, there are only three areas with two elevators at each spot. Expect long waits. Parking isn’t too bad, but if you do not have an assigned spot it is hard to find a spot without driving up to higher levels. Quiet hours are not enforced. Still a lot of loud music and yelling at late hours after 10 pm.

Overall Good Stay

The property had a great view of the beach down below and was clean when we arrived. The only knock I have on the place is that power to one of the rooms did not work, it wasn’t that big of a deal however.

Our family had a great week

Only downfall as mentioned by multiple people is the elevators. We just tried to go at off peak times. Condo was great and made us feel at home.

Wonderful and clean!

Was is a clean condo. we enjoyed it very much . But you do need to provide all of your soap / extra toilet paper . Nothing extra additional was provided just minimal.

5 Star Review but elevators are horrible!

Condo and view are awesome! Our only complaint would be the elevators! We waited 45 minutes to get an elevator to take our stuff to the car for checkout. Insane!

Nice place. Only 2 complaints and the owner can’t do anything about it. Elevators are terrible and you can’t sit outside on the balcony without getting high from second hand blunt smoke. If that’s your thing then you should be good to go!

Bed Bugs

The sofa bed had bed bugs or some kind of mean bug bc my daughter and friend both 15 slept there…. First morning they were eaten up with these red welts that itch…. I tried to treat the symptoms and prayed they go away..but 2 more nights on the sofa bed these 2 girls came home with huge ugly red welts all over body head to toe..

Good Trip… just some things to know

The check in process was very easy and the location of the property was perfect! Staying on a top floor was the best view and so fun. I will say, the bed and the couch were very uncomfortable. The bed was very squishy and too soft. The couch was a pull out, so it caved in in the middle. Some of the cups in the cabinet were not clean, so that was discouraging. They also only provided 2 rolls of toilet paper and a trash bag for the kitchen and two smaller ones in the bathroom which I was skeptical about. However, for 2 adults who stayed 5 days, what was provided was more than enough. We kept this place very clean, and swept the floors when we could, as noted we would be charged if there was an excessive amount of sand after we checked out. Overall, I would stay at this resort again, but I would not book this unit due to the bed being uncomfortable. If you like a squishy bed that caves in the middle, then this will be a perfect stay for you.

Little Disappointed

The room was nicely decorated and the master bedroom mattress was nice quality. But I can say that cleanliness was lacking. There was dried urine on the base of the master toilet when we arrived. A few bugs in the kitchen, placemats has someone else’s ok’d food on them and the floor mat, in the kitchen, was sticky. The elevators were a hot mess. You could wait 15 or more minutes for a ride up or down. There was not enough parking for all of the first to park. But the worst part, said by most people I spoke to, was the swimming pool. The pool was beautiful but the staff managing it made the experience just awful. I understand that when there are loads of people at the pool, maintaining some sort of order is needed and appreciated….but this group ruined the whole trip. Pool deck opens at 8:00am, so early birds would arrive, chose their chairs for the day and at promptly 8:00am would put their pool bags, towels, kids toys out and get ready for the day. If you got into the pool, leaving your towel on the chair, the staff was caught removing your belongings and throwing them behind the pool house. You would come out of the water and your belongings were missing. They took a child’s stroller….they were rude to parents that were sitting on the edge of the pool watching their children swim. They made folks turn off any kind of music…it was absolutely awful. I can absolutely say, and repeat what I heard from massive amounts of others, we will never stay here again. Hate to sound like this, but I promise that I would have appreciated this info….as we have a VRBO in Indiana…you need to try harder for your guests.

Shores of Panama

This is a great condo!!! the view is perfect. The pool is clean and inviting. We really enjoyed the easy beach access too!!! Communication was top notch by multiple parties when we had a small door code issue. But it was handled very quickly. Maybe a few more towels and some k-cups to get us started might be nice!! Overall, we would recommend and return!!!

Review of listing 😒

Parking and elevators are a total nightmare . However, the worst part was the bunk room top bunk had wet urine stain on it . I was in hold for a hour with VRBO and finally had to hang up . I found another number for VRBO , I left a voicemail housekeeping texted me back . No phone call. By text , they had to go get me new linens and go to Walmart a purchase a quilt . They texted me and said they put it on the counter in the condo . Now , why would they not change the top bunk instead of us having to do that? . We had to flip the mattress also . My question is , when they cleaned the room before we got their , did they not change the top bunk ? If they would have they would have seen that there was wet urine in the bed . I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS IS NOT A REVIEW! You don’t post I will post all over PCB SOCIAL MEDIA SITES. That is what a review is . Oh you want take a negative review!

Great week

Loved our condo. 22nd floor in “middle” tower. The noise at night from the balconies is unreal. Security will tell you to move your towels from the balcony “we didn’t do this but did overhear many others talking about it”, they will ask about your arm band every time they can’t see it because you have an arm load of stuff you are carrying to and from the beach, but they do not enforce the noise policy or the pool chair towel reserving policy. Our condo 2212 was very clean and the view was perfect. The noise and lack of security involvement to control the problem will negatively impact our decision to stay here again. The building, the pool area, the pool bar and snack bar, beach view and walk to the beach are so great and would make this a perfect place to stay, but the noise and the Black Friday pool chair system steal the thunder of all the positives. If screaming, singing, over the top loud music with profanities every other word until 2-3 in the morning and you couldn’t care less about a chair at the pool doesn’t bother you, this is a great place to stay. The elevators are a bit slow and one of the two at each set was out of order most of the time, but even that wasn’t too bad. All large condo buildings have that problem. Overall, we loved it until we wanted to sit at the pool and sleep at night.

In general, these improvements will include the repair and replacement of the stucco façade at various areas, concrete repairs, sealant replacements, parking deck repairs, and a fresh coating. Noise levels may vary depending on the time of each arrival.

We offer 4-night rentals Late May - Early August, with check in or check out on Saturday or Sunday. If you want a shorter length of time during this season,
please submit an inquiry.

Renter must be at least 18, and if not at least 25 years of age, an additional $500 security deposit and photo ID will be required that must be paid to the management company. This fee is refundable as long as the condo is left in the same condition and no damages or excessive cleaning is found.

Shores of Panama charges a separate resort fee not included in the total cost. You will pay this by a separate link that is provided before check in. You must register your vehicles in order to receive the Parking Pass with this Unit.
