This is our second stay at The Main street retreat. On this visit we found the pool and hot tub filled with leaves. We cleaned the hot tub ourselves for use. We also asked for a set of sheets to change our bed. They were hung on the door handle hours after requesting.

Came here to relax and celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and it gave what it needed to give. We were able to do just that. Would definitely recommend for someone who just wants to relax and escape the world for a few days.

Only complaint was the hot tub wasn’t very hot the first night, but it was hot the next day and also may in TX, so no issue. Will be back next time I’m in the area!

Love love love the chairs on the patios by the pool such an upgrade. Only negative is the porch lights stay on which is good for security however the windows need blackout shades and there should be a shade for the window in the door.

I feel the pool could be a bit warmer, but the hot tub was excellent, we turned the tv off and we turned it on the next day and it wouldn’t go back to our channel, the bed was comfortable, the only complain I had was it felt damp and wet when we entered, idk if that was from when we went to the pool or not, but besides that we enjoyed our stay!! Thank you !!

Clean, convenient to Main Street shops, will definitely stay again

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. The studio apartment was clean, nicely decorated, and plenty of room for us for our four-day stay. We will bring friends back, and book directly with property.

Weekend Getaway

The property was perfect for a getaway visit to Fredericksburg for two. Easy walking distance to all the Main Street attractions.

Very cute and the bed was comfy. Communication with host was great. The only drawback was the glass doors into the bathroom which allowed no privacy.

Great Experience

The wife and I popped over to Fredericksburg for a few nights and the Social Goat was perfect for our needs. Clean room and walkable (10 minutes) to all of the action on main.

Our room was very comfortable and accommodating. The bed and sheets were so comfortable!! We will definitely rent with Main Street Retreat again and recommend to our friends!!
