Located on the historic, picturesque Southport Waterfront you'll enjoy a well appointed space with amenities that include a galley kitchen, shower/tub combo, Wifi & full Cable TV, and streaming. The unit also features a small balcony with views of the Cape Fear River and guest pool. We also have a huge deck with lots of tables and chairs, swings, and local bands come and play there on Thursday nights in the summer with beautiful views all around! And if that's not enough, we also have a small, private beach by the pool that's great for fishing or just enjoying the spectacular views. Covered parking is available within steps of the elevator. The space includes a dining table and a well-stocked kitchen should you choose to cook during your stay.

Perfect stay in Southport

We truly enjoyed the condo. It has everything you look for in a stress free visit to Southport - cleanliness, location to downtown, well stocked kitchen, side view to pool and ocean and comfortable bed. We hope to come back when it is warmer and take advantage of pool and private beach. You will be very happy in unit 108. Thank you.

Couple Getaway

My husband and I went to Southport for a couples weekend and the location was perfect. We rented a golf cart and had a blast. Stephanie was available when a small issue came up and everything was resolved within minutes. The location is on the first floor of a three story building and the view is the parking lot. However, walk out the door and see the water.

Good for a weekend getaway

Stayed for a girls trip. Place was clean and as described. It was nice to be able to put the chairs on the small balcony to watch the water. I would recommend a more compact set so it isn’t so tight but that is not a big deal. We appreciated having the private beach and pool access, with pool chairs and towels provided! It was thoughtful to have beach towels and water in fridge for us. An alligator was indeed spotted in the water and came on the beach a few piers down so we stayed in the pool. They do visit that area so just be aware of surroundings. Only issue was a strong smell. We alerted the property owner and she was very responsive. Hopefully the A/C was serviced and smell addressed. Would recommend for individual or small groups. It is cozy, but comfortable.

Love Southport!!

We were visiting Southport for the first time and fell in love with the area! The condo was within walking distance from the waterfront park and the vibrant downtown area also. The condo was clean and well stocked. We appreciated the cold water in the fridge!. The mattresses were pretty soft and we're the only negative during our visit. We are 65+ and had a little trouble sleeping. All in all, the condo was a great stay and we have already recommended it to our family and friends!

The perfect getaway spot!

Amazing stay

We really enjoyed our stay. It was beautiful and everything was so fitting for our stay. From a beautiful note left welcoming us, snacks, clean room and wonderful staff. The communication with Ruth is unbelievably great, definitely recommend.

Perfect family weekend

Thank you for a lovely stay. We had everything we needed for a long weekend away. The location was perfect for accessing Southport and the ferries, which were our priorities. Our daughter loved watching the boats and ships pass in the river. We would love to come back soon.

PERFECT❤️

My husband and I, and our 4 year old daughter had THE BEST stay at the River Hotel! It was clean, and Ruth left the sweetest welcome note for us, along with some snacks, waters and bubbles for the little one! Not to mention, you have access to the pool, and private beach access! We were super close to the shops and restaurants. We had the such a great time, and look forward to staying here again!

Attention to details from host: welcome note, water bottles, snack basket, ice ready in freezer, fully stocked kitchen. Location: small beach front property about .5 mile walk from town. You can not walk on beach, but can walk/bike on road. Parking: covered/uncovered available. Shopping/restaurants: many excellent choices. Make sure to check hours as many Southport stores close by 5 pm. Overall experience: 4/5. Rental had smokey smell but hosts offered to refund money and were apologetic. We stayed second night since spent most time outside. Not sure if it was previous renters or conditions in rental.

Excellent place to stay!

My friends & I came for a bachelorette weekend. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and had a homey feeling. They left us snacks, water, extra blankets, and beach towels. The private beach & pool was relaxing to enjoy. I definitely will stay here again when I return.

Delightful & cozy!

Loved the condo; warm and cozy! Very welcoming w/ the personalized welcome note and snacks & water. Can't wait to stay there again! Informed Ruth of the slow tub drain and need to probably change the shower head. Definitely not deal breakers!

Perfection

Great property. 100% Let’s start with the pool and private beach. Fabulous. The unit was immaculate. VERY comfortable bedding. Kitchen well equipped. We cooked in a few times. Host info was informative and on spot! We walked to the shops and restaurants. A good walk in the most wonderful and quaint town. Definitely returning.

Amazing stay

We were in town for 2 days. Condo was as described. Beds were comfy. Linen, towels coffee, and water were provided. Little surprise personal gift was a great addition! She had board games, magazines and books available to read. Beach towels and extra fluffy blankets for the bed. There was a wedding taking place there and parking was a little tough getting in on one of our nights. Great communication with owner. Only negative which is out of their control was the upstairs people were very loud walking around at night. Other than that, great stay!

When I travel I look for an experience that gives me a new experience of that place, but has all the feels of home and I want to offer my guests that same memorable experience that all travelers deserve. I'm a NC native. I grew up in a small town just west of Charlotte where my parents still live. I am a proud alumna of the Univ. of Tennessee and I love my Vols, and I currently split my time between Greensboro and Southport!

There's nothing else quite like it in Southport! The whole property is new a new concept for Southport (started in 2019 and the 3rd and final building was completed in the Fall of 2024). Located right on the Cape Fear River with a waterfront swimming pool--something no other property in Southport has to offer! It's in walking distance, biking distance, or golf cart riding distance --whichever you prefer--to downtown Southport and all the great shops and restaurants. The property boasts great sunrise views to the east and sunset views to the west! Where else can you get both in the same location?? EsCape to Cape, THAT's where!
