Cozy detached private studio with private parking. Includes queen bed with sky lights and sitting area. Has a full size bathroom, kitchen with full size refrigerator, stove and cooktop, microwave and coffee maker. Cable and WIFI provided. Outside has sitting areas along with a fire pit. Beautiful beachside neighborhood within walking or biking distance to the beach. Bikes are provided! Close to restaurants, bars, Oak Island Pier, grocery store, convenience stores, golf course, shops etc. Most are within biking distance. Small friendly dogs will be considered.

We have stayed here a number of times and have always enjoyed out time. Always clean and ready, very nice interior layout and finishes with close proximity to the beach and easy access to parking.

We will definitely be rebooking with this adorable cottage. It was very well kept and recently remodeled. Quiet location, yet easy to walk to the beach.

This place is amazing. It’s very clean, comfortable and cozy. Check in was simple. The host was very friendly and polite to me. I was able to relax and enjoy several days with any interruptions. Nice quick walk to the beach. I definitely would stay here again.

The room was exceptionally clean. The bed and couch were very comfortable. We didn’t utilize the kitchen much for cooking, but it’s a good setup for those who are planning to cook during their stay. The location is excellent; the house is two blocks from the beach, within a couple of miles of two grocery stores, and 15 minutes from lots of good restaurants, shops, and a bakery in Southport. This is a perfect spot for a couple wanting a quiet, comfortable, relaxing, and romantic stay.

Everything as advertised except it really isn’t within walking distance unless you are an athlete. It cost 20.00 a day to part within walking distance to the beach. I wish I had known this before booking. In gratitude, the host did have 2 bikes to ride to the beach saving us some money. Except for this the place was clean and very comfortable.

I wanted to clear up a couple of details for you and future guests: Walk to the Beach: The beach is just two short blocks away (around a 9-minute walk for most) specified in the app. Because everyone’s walking pace and comfort levels are a bit different, I also offer complimentary bikes to help make getting down to the sand even easier! Island Parking: I completely understand the frustration with paid parking! The town implemented paid parking island-wide for visitors and residents alike—even local home owners have to pay, Unfortunately, it's become standard across most NC beach towns, but I always want to make sure guests are aware. Thanks again for staying with us and for helping us improve the guest experience!

What a sweet property! So cute and clean, a perfect size for me and my dog! Block and a half to the beach access which has a shower to rinse the pup and you. Also a hose available at the house to rinse feet and your pup. Comfortable bed and couch. Full kitchen is so appreciated. The host was always prompt with responses. Loved this little gem! Thanks for a great stay!

Had an amazing stay on Oakland. Jason and Jessica were great host. Had no issues with parking and has a private driveway. They gave us recommendations for places to go. Was very clean, provided bikes to take to the beach.

The place was perfect for 2 or even 3 if you have a little one! Very relaxing and quiet as well as legitimately right down the street from the beach (less than a 5 minute walk and I am lazy so that says something). Host was kind, understanding, and helpful. Highly recommend booking if you’re considering because you won’t regret it!!

I loved the suite. It ‘s proximity to the beach was wonderful and to the downtown area as well. There is just a small improvement that I would make concerning the access to the bathroom for people with some leg impairment. It would be nice if somehow a step could be provided to the bathroom. Other than that, it’s a quaint and cozy, well designed place.

We highly recommend this property for a couple looking for some time at the beach.Very clean, almost looks brand new, and perfect for our needs. The bathroom is spacious and kitchen came fully equipped, including complete stove/oven unit and HUGE fridge. And a bonus was the fact that we were only 2 short blocks from the beach….. allowing us to take a nice walk in the mornings and evenings. Our host, Jason, was very communicative and friendly.

It was the perfect place and location for us to stay over a long weekend. Very clean, easy access all the necessities that we needed. Highly recommended if you need a small, pet friendly place to stay for a short or long weekend.
