1 bedroom Sky 305 offers a warm and inviting place to enjoy the best of Rocky Point. Appointed with comfort throughout, the unit is the ocean from on the third floor of the elegant Sonoran Sky Resort.

Excellent kitchen with warm wood cabinetry and granite counters stand out, along with high backed rattan bar stools. The living room opens up to views on the patio, where you will find a comfortable sofa and chair, along with a low table. Great place to take in the views with a cold drink!

A Queen bed and attached bathroom make up the master suite, There are ceiling fans throughout and rich natural tile floors.

The resort boasts its own restaurant and sports bar, convenience store, day spa, and BBQ Rea. Of course, the luxurious pools by the beach are the real attraction. The Tiki Bar along the shore is very popular and fun, there is a negative edge pool and swim-up bar service too.

Staying at the Sky puts you close to lots of fun Rocky Point adventures.

There is no private Internet only in Lobby.
NOTE: The balcony BBQ do not work, there is a designated area on the 3rd floor for the use of charcoal grills and playground for small children. (Charcoal is not included, for sale at convenience store).

Only one thing

We were only allowed 2 bath towels for 2 adults for 3 days. Other than that, 5 stars across the board

Great place.

Stay was great. Love the Sonoran Spa and location. Condo was clean and recently updated. Would have been nice to have a few extra towels and a few extra rolls of toilet paper and some Kleenex. But just went down to front desk and got some. No problems and great communication.

Really great except…..

Condo was really nice, clean, modern, and the hotel was amazing. Might be my favorite Sonoran property. Small problem, seems really small but was a bit of a downer and that is the tv did not work our entire stay. The hotel was very quick to come and try to fix it but couldn’t get it to work. Again small thing except the one night we didn’t go out and would have loved to have a tv. Overall would definitely stay here again.

Nice place

I rented a similar one bedroom higher up and the experience was much the same. It is very nice, especially the balcony. This one appeared to be newly appointed for a VRBO rental. There were no staples like salt, sugar and oils left over from previous stays. If you plan to cook bring everything you will need. They do have pots and pans and utensils.

We’re generally impressed with the property and amenities. The condo was clean but many lightbulbs burned out and some other minor issues . An individual was sent up to do some repairs in a timely manbae

Only one Issue

In the bathroom there is a leak that drips water I think it is from the AC. Other than that it is a great little one bedroom..

First time at Sonoran Sky

We've been to many other resorts in Rocky Point but this was our first time at Sonoran Sky. The resort and room were nice and clean. The pool bar and bar staff were excellent. The pool area is truly beach front, and it was the best thing about this property. This unit on the 3rd floor is right by the elevators and the walls are paper thin, so it was LOUD with all the late night traffic coming in from the bars. Also, apparently I didn't pay attention that closely to the listing but it is only a queen size bed in the unit. My 6'4" husband would have preferred a king. Bathroom only has a shower, no bathtub. Also the toilet flushing was hit or miss, it felt like you had to really hold down the handle to get everything to flush away. Parking was terrible at this resort compared to others we've stayed at. Sometimes we'd have to circle around the lot to try to find and empty space. Lastly, Casago seems like they charge a lot more in various fees than other hosts do.

Seating and TV a problem

The condo was clean. Seating is an issue. there was no chair in the Bedroom, the bar stools are bar height and our knees were at the counter level. The living room had two couches but no chairs. The TV's had minimal stations to choose from, cheapest network one can find. Having stayed in other condos on Sandy Beach, this was the worst I've seen. The TV's were smart TV and the Netflix and Amazon app was not available to log in personal account information. I did bring this to the attention of the front desk and they offered to send someone up to reset the TV. We had other activities planned and waiting for a repairman was not one of them. While we did not come to Sonoran Skye to watch TV, we expected that service for the down times. I would not rent this condo again. Sonoran Sky amenities were top notch. Pools and food options.

Beautiful room

The room itself was beautiful and looked even better than the pictures. It would be nice to have a fan outside on the patio since it is enclosed and not a lot of air movement. The only short comings were the lack of toiletries (of course, 1st time I forgot my shampoo), very few towels provided, the ceiling fan in living room wouldn't work and the movie channels on the tv in the living room kept going out. As far as the resort goes, it was nothing special. The security guards were terrible but the restaurant and the sports bar were great! Great service, food and employees.
