Whole House, Scenic Post and Beam Home Overlooking Canandaigua Lake! Sleeps 10

Come and relax at our tranquil oasis-like retreat in the heart of the Finger Lakes with amazing lake views. Close to Bristol Mountain, CMAC Performing Art Center and several wineries and breweries. Our home is tucked away on a private drive and sits on 1.3 wooded acres. Beautifully landscaped with sweeping covered porches wrapping around the home and private deck off master suite all with beautiful lake views. Cozy up to our outdoor wood burning fire pit or gas firepit off the private deck off the master or relax inside the spacious living room with a gas fireplace and plenty of seating on the comfy couches.

Please note that we cater to families and laid back vacationers. If you are looking for a party house, we would not be your destination. We want to maintain a peaceful and enjoyable environment for our guests as well as our neighbors.

The main floor includes beautiful kitchen with high end cabinets, quartz countertop, large farm-style dining table, gas fireplace, spacious living room. Full bath and guest bedroom with scenic lake views on first floor includes queen size and twin over full size bunk and private access to front porch.

Second floor includes master bedroom with king-size bed, master bath and private deck with amazing lake views. Guest bedroom on the second floor includes a queen size bed and a full size bed. The second floor also includes a full bath and full-size washer and full-size dryer.

This is a perfect home for you to enjoy with family and friends. Outdoor gas grill, fire pit on the lawn to roast marshmallows and spot area wildlife, and plenty of outdoor lawn games and indoor board games for your enjoyment. Several areas close by with public lake/beach access, less than 4 miles to public boat launch, 11 miles to Bristol Mountain Ski Resort and Aerial Adventures and 6 miles to CMAC Performing Arts Center.

There are plenty of local restaurants as well as wineries and breweries close by. We look forward to having you stay at the Chosen View of the Finger Lakes!

So roomy and comfortable! Country charm with all the comforts of home supper well stocked kitchen and lots of games to choose from. Loved sitting and relaxing on the porch and it was a beautiful drive to The Purple Painted Lady Festival! Super responsive with any questions. Definitely recommend this beautiful place!

The house was wonderful for a holiday weekend. The host was very helpful and communicative during my stay. There were no cleanliness issues and plenty of home amenities were present to avoid the hassle of lugging from home (toiletries, kitchen utilities etc). I did experience a wifi issue during my stay through no fault of the owner (weather caused external issues) but host did everything to try and resolve the problem which I appreciated. There are many restaurants and breweries/wineries within driving distance. The area itself is beautiful. Would definitely come back again.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is beautiful and so very well stocked with everything you could possibly need! Loved the Prosecco in the refrigerator waiting for us. Very nice touch! The front porch with the view of the lake is such a peaceful and relaxing area. We all had coffee out there every morning and watched the sunrise! Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. Also a great location where everything you could want to see or need was within a 5 or 8 minute drive. Would definitely stay here again! Host was very quick to respond to any questions.

What a beautiful comfortable home with great views of the lake. Love the country charm and peaceful setting. My son’s wedding was at Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park and we stayed here for the weekend. So happy we chose this place. Definitely will be back again!

This was a great space for visiting family over the holidays. Once the snow stopped, they plowed the driveway which was very helpful. We spoke with the hosts in advance about having our family join us for dinner/Christmas celebration and they were accommodating. Timely communication and would definitely stay again.

We had a very comfortable stay at this lovely cottage that overlooks Lake Canandaigua. The property is well appointed and the bedrooms and linens are very nice. We had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. The spaces were super clean. We loved hanging out on the front porch.

Enjoyable stay with plenty of space

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house was spacious and well-designed, with ample outdoor space and a large yard perfect for outdoor activities. The location was ideally situated in the Finger Lakes, allowing us to take day trips and explore the beautiful area.
