Home is a Duplex, Oceanside, only 3 houses to the Beach. It has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath, updated and comfortable. It has a large deck with furniture and grill. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other 2 bedrooms have twin beds in there. Good size living room with flat screen TV and 2 couches. Kitchen table seats 6. Washer and dryer and central air. Home has blankets and pillows but must bring your own sheets and towels. Perfect location. Walk to beach, to restaurants, and small shops, including ice cream store.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! The location was perfect! The VRBO app let us down with some communication, but other than that everything else was great! Pat was very hospitable and the home had everything we needed. The closeness to the beach could not be beat!

The perfect spot for a quiet stay! Clean, 30 seconds from your door and you're on the beach! Anything you need is a couple of blocks from the house. Pat was a wonderful host! My family had a great comfortable stay and we'll definitely be back!

Vacation Stay

This stay was a great experience. The house was clean and had everything that we needed. The house is in an amazing location, about 3 houses from the beach, and I would highly recommend staying here. The host was easy to contact which made everything a lot easier.

Highly Recommend

This was my first time ever booking a VRBO. Our host (Pat) couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. The property was exactly as it is depicted in the pictures and description. The location is great, the house was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this property and host.

Location, Location, Location

When I first enter a rental property, the most important thing I look for is cleanliness and location. The house was clean, and the location was perfect. The house is on the very north end of Surf City, so there's not a lot of foot traffic and cars in the area. It's only three houses from the beach and easy walking distance to restaurants. If you have a young family, the house will be perfect for you. I highly recommend this property.

False advertising

Upon arrival I immediately called the host for WiFi instructions and left a voicemail to which I did not get a response. The house was dirty to the point of being unhealthy. The shower curtain was covered in mildew… and the bathroom was not the bathroom in the photo on the listing. The listing says only to bring your own sheets. There was one stained and mildewed towel. The kitchen utensils had mold on them. There was food stuck to the kitchen cabinets. Mouse droppings on the kitchen table and in the closets. Dirty clothes in the washer/dryer, men’s underwear under the kitchen sink, no garbage pails. No batteries in the tv remotes. I then tried contacting the host via the VRBO app to advise of these other issues, and got a response only to discover that the house was not even equipped with WiFi at all. We had to go out and buy bathroom towels, and had no WiFi connection and were unable to watch tv. The host told me I was exaggerating and offered no help, did not resolve one issue.

This is so exaggerated and untrue. I have never had a complaint before. I had no missed calls from her. She sent a message thru VRBO saying that they had no WiFi. I answered her and gave her my number and asked her to call. I tried getting in touch with infinity and they couldn’t come till Tuesday. I felt bad about that and offered her some money back. I also nicely told her that the house does not come with sheets and towels. I had a professional cleaner at house that morning before their arrival. There was nothing wrong with blankets and comforters. I sent her a text asking for her address because I wanted to send her a gift card. She answered why did I want her address. I told her I wanted to send her a gift card or money but she said she would let me l ow. Then I got a message saying she wanted half the money back. I did refuse this and said if the house was as dirty as she claimed I would never have stayed there and I would have contacted VRBO immediately and myself. I think she was looking for a bargain since it was a rainy weekend

We had a wonderful time! The house was everything we had hoped for—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Pat was an excellent host and communicated with us throughout our stay, making everything easy and stress-free. The location was perfect and close to everything we wanted to do. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay!
