NEW Build Bear Lake Urban Mountain Retreat-Breathtaking Views & private Hot Tub

We’re sorry to hear this was their experience. We work hard to provide every guest with a clean, comfortable stay and do our best to accommodate every reasonable requests. We allowed a two-hour early check-in, and unfortunately the guests arrived even earlier, 4 hours early despite being asked to wait. After checkout, we found multiple personal items left behind, life jackets thrown into window wells, makeup on the comforter and bedding, and other items requiring additional cleaning and care for removal of blood, wall decor removed and disrupted through out house! While everything was fixable, it required significant extra time to prepare the home for our next guests. We use a professional hot-tub specialist to maintain and monitor the water chemistry, so we take those concerns seriously but we never heard anything negative about the hot tub during their stay. It’s unfortunate to receive a negative review after making considerable efforts to accommodate this particular stay. The guests even texted at checkout “The home was great thanks for an enjoyable and fun stay!” We understand that every property isn’t the right fit for every guest, but we will continue doing everything we can to provide a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained Bear Lake vacation rental experience for our future guests! We hope to continue to deliver five star experiences.

It was an honor to host Jennifer and her family at our Urban Mountain Retreat here in beautiful Bear Lake. We wouldn’t hesitate to open our home to them again. They were perfect guests. Anmy, was a great guest and it was fun to help her celebrate an anniversary as a FAMILY! We would not hesitate to welcome her and her family back as vacation guests at our property. In order to accomplish this, we have implemented extra measures and rules to be able to provide a quality rental for all of our guests. All of the items touched on above were clearly stated in the short term vacation rental contract that was signed. For example; there are no security cameras located in the cabin. There are outside cameras that are used for security purposes at each entrance and exits. This is similar to property security at a hotels or resort and is in no way are intended to infringe on our guests privacy, but are rather to be used when no one is located at the property and more importantly to provide safety. We apologize that we didn’t meet your expectations but we hope you enjoyed your stay in beautiful Bear Lake and made some lasting memories.
