We had an amazing time! The cabin is perfect for a family stay. The home is comfortable, clean and well equipped. This is our second stay at Northern Pines and it will not be our last! Thank you again Kwin and Megan for your hospitality.

Wonderful host that is accommodating, communicative and helpful. Even looking out for us in case of bad weather. Cannot say enough good things about the stay. The actual amenities exceeded our expectations and was the perfect getaway.

Excellent stay

The cabin offered great views and privacy, and yet is close to town. It offered us a very relaxed place to hang out when we were down with our day trips around the area.

Such an amazing stay! We traveled with our infant, parents and two dogs. The property was very private and had trail heads basically off the back deck for the dogs, they loved it. The place is super well maintained and clean. Would love to visit again when we can stay logner!

Long weekend getaway

Our family stayed for a long weekend. The house was very clean and the location was beautiful. There are plenty of activities close by.

Beautiful, clean and relaxing.

We book a cabin every year, somewhere new each time. This cabin was beautiful, very clean and the kitchen fully stocked with everything you could need. The views were beautiful and we truly enjoyed our stayed.

Great Place

Perfect little hideaway

We loved staying here! Our only complaint would be that no bathroom on the “bunk” level means kids coming upstairs at night which can be a little inconvenient but other than that it’s perfection!

Hidden gem!

This was a great little getaway. It is in an ideal location where you can really explore in any direction! The sauna and hot tub were a nice addition and everything was as expected from the listing.

Forest and Hills

Great views of forested hills. Beautiful hiking trails; great deck and bonfire pit. We would visit this one again.

Great place with beautiful setting

Nice separation of bedroom space for everyone. Plenty of room to spread out. Lovely outdoor space. Love the trail through the woods right from the back deck!

Ski trip

Came up for a ski week, loved the cabin and property, the place was perfect for our family of 5. Kwin was kind and responsive, the cabin was clean and our stay was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Spacious Lodge Retreat

The property was great. The house itself was secluded with hiking trails around, yet close to Traverse City and surrounding areas. Lots to explore. The house had everything you needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Anniversary getaway

My wife and I stayed here for our 30 wedding anniversary, and we couldn't have had a better time! The cabin is fabulous, and all the emenities and thing to do around there are so awesome. We brought our 2 year.old Boxer with us and he had a great time too. We would love to come back again sometime, and have another great adventure at this fantastic retreat!

Highly enjoyable experience!

Beautiful property, hiking trails, and all of the creature comforts we needed. Great communication with owners and perfect central location - easy to get to Torch Lake and Traverse City. We will be back!
