This beachfront, 4 bedroom home located 2 1/2 miles north of the Grand Traverse resort, and 6 miles north of downtown Traverse City, enjoys a spectacular view of the East Bay and its crystal clear waters. On both levels you will find 2 bedrooms along with a wood-burning fireplace (main floor only) The main floor kitchen is fully equipped, with a kitchenette in the lower level, also TV's on both floors for further convenience. There is also laundry facilities and plenty of space for cards, games and moving around.
This cozy home is ideal for families and friends. Easy beach access for boating, skiing, fishing, walking the beach, and a relaxing day in the sun. Enjoy fires on the beach or cocktails on the deck. The property is situated close enough to Traverse City to enjoy local activities and festivals and yet far enough away for quiet privacy and spectacular sunsets.

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was so cozy and had every amenity we could possibly need, and the short drive into TC made it easy to enjoy downtown but still feel secluded while we sat on the beach. Absolutely recommend and would stay again!

This was a perfect spot for a family retreat! The house was clean and well stocked with all necessities. The beach was quiet and relaxing, including the fire pit!

This is our third year staying at this home. We had a great visit. It was cooler than previous years but that didn't stop us from enjoying the beach. We love the location and did I mention, the beach? Parts of the home were updated over the winter which we much appreciated the new mattress and floors.

We had the most fabulous stay at this quiet waterfront property. We enjoyed the view, the private beach, and the sunsets. Great kitchen and updated bathrooms, comfy beds, AC units, and everything we needed to unplug by the lake. Carole checked in often and was a great host!

My family and I were in northern MI to leaf peep and we were very pleased with the location of the vrbo. The view of Lake MI is also superb!The host is also very interactive, checking in multiple times during our stay to see if we needed anything.

The property was nice, but not easy to get to the waterfront. The stairs did not all have railings or were buried in vines; pathway washed out, so hard to climb up to house or down to water.The deck was nice but hard to see the bay and outdoor dining table was too big so could not sit at the sides - only the ends and had to go out different doors to access each table end.

Fantastic getaway with friends
This is a wonderful house nestled in the woods right on Lake Michigan. It was very clean, comfortable and the owners were very prompt and responsive when we needed to get in touch with them. We will definitely be looking to stay here again soon!

This was our second year staying here. The location is perfect for us. We love the beach for the dog and night time bonfires. In general the neighbors are quiet depending on what visitors they may have. Any issues were quickly resolved.

A Relaxing Getaway
We had a lovely stay.
Loved the location and the private beach. The rental was spacious, clean and has many views of the bay. Communication with Carole was always prompt.
Would have loved to stay longer!

Perfect Summary Getaway
Was a perfect private oasis with a wonderful elevated deck producing amazing views, and a secluded beach and waterfront.

Summer Getaway
My family, including my infant son and our dog, stayed for a week in early June and had a fantastic time. The house was lovely and Carole was a wonderful host. I could not recommend it enough.

Girl's Weekend
Five women including me stayed in the rental for the weekend for a girl's weekend. The accommodations were perfect for our group. The view of the lake was amazing. I would love to stay here in the summer and enjoy the water/beach.

Great Location
The property was beautiful, inside was very spacious, and owner was very good! The only reason my over all rating was a 3 star, was due to mold in the house, as my sister and myself have allergies.

Amazing view and private beach
The house is very spacious and it's located right on the lake with it's own private beach. The property is located in a quiet area off the main road but still close enought to Traverse City. Carole was very quick to respond whenever we needed to reach out.
