Poor communication

The house itself was great for what we needed, but the host (Jake) was slow to respond (messaged and left voicemail). The AC was not working and the house was 81 degrees for our entire first day! We had to sleep with the windows open, and this neighborhood is a rundown suburb with a back alley behind the home. We finally got a response the morning after and had the AC fixed, but the workers left the back door wide open! Luckily our stuff was intact and everyone was safe, but that was another unfortunate situation. We also noted these photos are somewhat outdated, given the living room furniture during our stay was slightly different and the front and back landscaping was also very different.

Ladies trip

We had a wonderful time for a ladies trip/ birthday weekend. House was a great location in being close to sea world and gas light area. The private parking is in the back alley behind the house. The host had everything ready and all details to check in and codes were in the Vrbo app. Beds were comfortable and pillows and Blakey’s were a plenty. Wonderful memories. Highly recommend!!!

Cozy and spacious home!

My family and I enjoyed staying at this home. The home is very spacious, clean, and in a great location just outside of the city. The home had extra blankets, an iron, washer and dryer so we felt right at home. The parking in the back of the house was amazing radically coming home later at night with no more on street parking available. The host is a great communicator and I would recommend staying here to anyone especially with your family.

Had a nice time staying here. all attractions are a short Uber ride away. Spacious enough for 9 adults with everything you could need there.

Clean and comfortable

The house Comfortably fit our family. We choose this house for the price and location which is a 10 mile drive to San Diego zoo. The host was communicative and accommodating. The neighborhood is not the greatest but the house itself is great. Overall for the value of the price, location, and cleanliness, I would stay here and recommend this home. Also, there is a nearby Neighborhood Walmart about 1 mile away.

Great Experience!

My friends and I really enjoyed our time here! Minutes from many San Diego staples and grocery stores. My favorite part was the backyard parking. If I find myself down in SoCal with a large group again, I will be seeking this property out to stay! Thank you Anna!

Great stay!

Anna was a great host. She was responsive and friendly. The house was beautiful, clean, and perfect for a getaway weekend with my family. It was also nice and convenient being near a bunch of tourist spots.

Nice place, plenty of room, neighborhood is a bit rough.

Hi, this property was nice. The inside is remodeled and could easy fit 10 adults. Air conditioning was locked and barely worked so the house felt a little muggy and hot. The location of the house is in a bit of a rough neighborhood, but is close to downtown and Coronado. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Love this property

Clean and safe vibrant neighborhood in downtown San Diego. Super close to lots of attractions and the house was exactly as presented on VBRO. The private parking was a boon. Thank you Anna for the excellent accommodations for our family trip.

Dangerous Neighborhood

Although the actual property was nice and clean we felt very unsafe in the neighborhood. Gang signs sprayed everywhere. Police encounters on the street with random people. It felt like a threatening environment to tourists. Noisy neighborhood, very loud music playing throughout the night. If the home could be moved and transplanted somewhere else it would be very nice.

Exceeded our expectations!

This fully renovated open concept house was perfect for our party of 10. There was enough linens and towels for everyone. The kitchen was loaded with all basic necessities to cook, eat and clean. The pull out beds were very comfortable and easy to use. The neighborhood looks a bit rough but was peaceful and quiet all three nights of our stay. The location was pretty central to our activities which included nightlife downtown in Gaslamp, boating in the marina and catching our flight at the airport. The property manager was very responsive throughout the trip. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family.
