* NOTE: House is located on a steep hill. Great for your morning cardio workout, but less than ideal for those who may have health concerns.

*NOTE: This home is equipped to sleep 8 guests but please take note of the sleeping arrangement to ensure it's not a little too cozy for you. The house is approximately 850 sq. feet in total. I say this not to deter you, but to be transparent so you can determine if this home is a good fit for your stay.

* NOTE: Your fur baby is welcome in our home! If you plan to brings any Pets make sure to disclose this now to save on the Pet Fees! Pet Fees are $99/pet if reported before check-in and $200/pet if observed on the property but not paid for prior to check-in

Excellent communication

The stay was wonderful and the property owner was extremely responsive before and during the stay. We had everything we needed and the home was well stocked and very comfortable. We'd definitely stay again.

It met all of our needs!

It was the perfect set up; a senior citizen Aunt, two adults and an 11 yr old. It was a blended group, which included my aunt, my son, his dad (my ex) and I. We absolutely needed 3 bedrooms. Having a master bathroom for my Aunt with a step in shower was perfect for her. The other two rooms were perfect for everyone else. After a long, long day that started at Anaheim, went to Universal Studios all day and ended in San Diego, a helpful guide for places to eat and shop was so welcomed! Pizzeria Luigi was opened late and they were awesome. We had pizza, salad and a meatball roll and all of it was delish. I can’t tell you how welcomed it was to have a washer and dryer available to use, we were running out of clothes and returned home with mostly clean laundry! We had a perfect kitchen to use and there was nothing that we were missing when we stayed. Michael was incredible with communication and answering questions. I wish that we had more time in San Diego. We just didn’t have enough time in the city. Highly recommend the Go City app and if you have AAA the office is nearby and has maps and was helpful. Only two things to mention: the street is VERY steep and if you get back late, you might need to park further away and walk. We were lucky that only one night we had to park further away. It’s street parking but we were able to find parking almost right outside The front door most of the time. I would def stay here again! Thanks Michael!

Great getaway

The property itself is very well-maintained and extremely clean. Michael is a very attentive and responsive host. The backyard is very quaint and has a tremendous view. Perfect for a getaway weekend or longer. The houses within 15 minutes of most major attractions so it is very convenient. Overall, a tremendous stay!

Navy Homecoming

We stayed at this property while in town to welcome my husband’s ship back from their 7 month deployment. The property was clean, well stocked, and exactly as it appears in the photographs. The property manager replied to my few questions immediately. The location of the property can’t be beat - it is convenient to everything!

Trip To San Diego

A few friends and I spent a few days in San Diego and knew we would be doing a lot of things in downtown. The location was great and easy for Ride Share access as well as places to grab some coffee or breakfast before heading out for the day. Would definitely stay again.

Nice clean property and perfect location

The house was very clean and super organized. Many great items and way to many to list but here are a few. Large washer & dryer, large Brita, several TV apps, a lot of towels, coffee pods, tea bags, utensils, cleaning supplies.... The backyard was cute and cozy. Wish we were there a few more days to use the BBQ. The location was ideal minutes from the Gas Lamp, Little Italy, and the Coronado bridge, Our drive to Mission Beach was only 10 mins away. The house is located on a hill. Parking was good The host Michael responds back fast. Had a few simple questions nothing major.

Nice property, great location

This house was comfortable and well stocked. It's located on a very steep street and parking was occasionally a challenge. However, it didn't pose a problem to our group. The three bedrooms gave us space to spread out and the host was very responsive. Easy access to the zoo, Balboa Park, and Coronado Beach.

Perfect for our San Diego family visit

We especially enjoyed using the casual outdoor dining area to gather for meals. The home was well maintained and stocked. The host was attentive to our needs. The space was ample and comfortable and well located for our San Diego visit.

Peaceful Getaway

The property was very spacious despite being a small home. We loved the patio and it was very relaxing. Parking was a little difficult because it is on a steep hill, but you will get a workout in if you decide to park in the surrounding neighborhood and not on the hill. The house was nicely stocked with toiletries, towels, blankets, pillows, etc. Beds were comfortable. My family enjoyed this property and will consider it again if we decide to return to San Diego.

Well-stocked, walkable neighborhood

This was truly a very beautiful property for our group of two couples, a toddler and two dogs. The outdoor patio is lovely and this was one of the most well-stocked rentals- from linens to toiletries to laundry access. Golden Hill was central to our needs. It is a very steep hill, which stretched our leg muscles but many conveniences were within a 15-20 minute walk, including grocery, coffee (less than 5 minutes away!), a panaderia, liquor, and some local restaurants. The property owner communicates very quickly and is good at having a discussion with any questions that may arise.

Very clean home

Very importantly, the host was amazing! Very easy to communicate, and would answer all my questions in a timely matter. The home was very clean, and centrally located to everything. Just a short drive to Balboa park, downtown, little Italy and beach.
