What a delightful place to stay. Lovely neighborhood with a few eateries right around the corner. Host is super responsive! We spent a lot of time in Balboa Park so this was the perfect spot. Easy to get to the waterfront, too.

Not My Favorite

Limited parking if any. There is a second rental in the back (not mentioned). The floor is not level which throws off your equilibrium. Very limited space and seating which was uncomfortable. The tv is literally 5 feet from the couch and the couch is against the wall. We payed for 2 nights, but chose to just get a hotel after the first night. Might be ok if your just going there to sleep and don't plan on spending time where your staying at. Location was convenient.

I am sorry that the property did not meet your standards, but we have hosted 165+ reservations and have never had people make the complaints that you have. The fact that only street parking is available is clearly stated in the listing. I'm sorry the house threw off your "equilibrium", and I'm not sure where someone would put a couch except for against the wall. You should probably just stay in hotels and save VRBO hosts your unreasonable reviews.

We had an absolutely incredible stay and couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish.From the moment we arrived, the home impressed us. It was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and had a warmth to it that made it feel less like a rental and more like staying at a friend's beautifully curated home. The decor was comfortable but elevated, and every space was laid out in a way that made the whole group feel at ease immediately. There was plenty of room to spread out, decompress after long days of exploring, and just enjoy being somewhere that truly felt like home.The amenities were excellent. The kitchen was fully stocked and functional, making it easy to prep meals and save on dining costs. WiFi was fast and reliable, and all the little things you'd need were already there — no hunting around for basics.What truly set this property apart was the location. Centrally situated, the home puts you within easy reach of the waterfront, parks, and everything the surrounding area has to offer. Exploring San Diego never felt like a chore — it was effortless.The host deserves a special shoutout — responsive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Convenient location with nice amenities

Enjoyed our stay. Street parking is a bit challenging, but the house is nice.
