Gorgeous home on Caney Creek built in 2018! It doesn’t get much better than this- Right on the creek w/ no neighbors across from you or behind you! Home feels private with a huge lot and the Cornelius Ranch view across the creek. Newer home with newer furniture and furnishing! (Not your typical fish camp) Fully stocked home and lots of amenities that other homes do not furnish. Fish, crab or kayak right off our pier- A few minutes to Sargent Beach, or restaurants. Matagorda Bay & ICW just a few minutes by boat! This is a great place to visit anytime of the year! Huge front deck area 1/2 covered and walk around porch. Sit on the deck and watch the boats -great place to eat your meal or read a book. Manicured yard with lots of room to play corn hole, throw football, enjoy the swings under the house! It's so peaceful in the evenings no road noise, just fish splashing or frogs croaking. Can walk the neighborhood & there is a park and basketball goals right down the road. Dollar General is 5 minutes away if you forget anything -they probably got it! You won't want to leave and will want to come back! You get what you pay for and this house has so much -privacy is a plus, pure relaxation! Just bring your clothes, fishing /beach gear, and food! We have just about anything you could need! Try to make it easier on our guests…..pack less= less stress!!! More time to enjoy!! One of our repeat guest described it as Best of everything -a river house and just a few minutes to the beach too! And much more peaceful then most areas! :)

Guillory Family Christmas Vacation

This home was hands down the best vacation spot my family have yet to experience! We felt like home away from home. I loved all the details from the owner; from all the lovely pots, extra essentials that were provided in case we forgot things, and the cleanliness of this home. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, fishing pier, and the beauty of the view while being inside. It shows that this owner knows how to treat their guest. We do appreciate how things were laid out for us for our 5 day stay so much we are thinking about booking it again.

Relaxing weekend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing weekend at The Nauti Seagull. We took our family and some friends and enjoyed fishing, kayaking, collecting shells, etc. The house is very nice and is decorated very nicely. It was well stocked with all the essentials needed for our 4 night stay. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The Great Little Getaway

This place was the perfect getaway to unwind, regroup and live life at a slower pace. The house with stocked with everything one needs and then some. The host was wonderful and was quick to respond to any questions we had. The house has its own personal pier which made perfect for early morning fishing. But, the icing on the cake was the sweet ol' dog nextdoor, Archie. He was the best highlight of our fishing trip. I even got a bit teary eyed having to say goodbye. I highly recommend this place. Its definitely one we'll revisit again. to respond to any questions we hadto

4th of July weekend

We had a great time! Very clean! It was me, my husband, our two boys, and another family with 2 kids as well. Being able to fish right there was great! Also nice to be able to park the boat at the dock. Owner was great to communicate with and provided all the necessities to make the trip a little easier! Thank you! We will definitely be back!

Relaxing stay at a beautiful property

The home is beautiful and well equipped. Even though we weren’t successful catching fish we really enjoyed sitting on the dock trying to lure them in! I highly recommend this property if you want a relaxing vacation on the water.

Beautiful View on Caney Creek

The owner Tammy was so helpful, informative and thoughtful!. She even did something special for us, as we were celebrating our 40th anniversary. The house is new, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated with a beach vibe. Beautiful view from deck and pier, where we spent most of our time. Fishing and crabbing (2 traps provided) were great fun. We caught 5 blue crab that were of keeping size (5" wide from point to point) which are so beautiful and it was plenty for a meal for two. It was a first time for us and they were delicious! Be sure to take your own shell crackers. Caught lots of black drum, perch and gafftop with frozen shrimp from Joeys Bait Shop, raw bacon and live worms, but the one that got away was a large 12"-15" flounder! Caught him on the end of the pier on the right with a gold slab lure. Unfortunately we didn't pick a good time to catch redfish. We loved eating at the Crab Trap down the road. The beach is only a few minutes drive. Its not the prettiest but it has the most sea shells I've ever seen! It was a wonderful time! Loved every minute!

Peaceful Getaway

We were very satisfied with our stay here! The property was clean, quiet, and so relaxing. The pier was perfect for fishing. The host was incredibly nice and responded to all of our questions very quickly. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

Perfect Stay

Tammie was incredible. She was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. She is also flexible with check-in time, which was extremely helpful. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few nights stay. Great fishing right in the backyard and minutes away from the beach. You can't beat this place

Incredible place

We loved this house! The view is incredible. Very relaxing and private. We caught so many crabs and fish off the pier. Can’t wait to return.

Deserves 5+ stars!

This was our 3rd vacation of the Summer and we really wanted somewhere to just lay back, relax and fish with our kids and this nailed it! We did not a touristy town- Sargent was such a slow pace TX coastal town! The beaches weren’t busy and it was so peaceful! Everything regarding the house and communication was perfect and top knotch!!

Perfect family get away!

Well-maintained and well-furnished property. The property is nice and quiet right on the creek. My family and I enjoyed being able to crab and fish without having to drive forever to find a spot (convenience is a PLUS.) My 10-year-old was not ready to leave, he said it was the best time. Lots of family memories made. Thank you Joey and Tammy!

From finding the rental, booking, and staying at this amazing property, we had zero issues. The property is very well taken care of, beautiful waterfront on the Creek, but more importantly you have great down to earth owners. Tammy made the rental feel more like our own dream getaway by adding touch's to personalize our experience. Amazing property and owners. I will be booking again soon for our traditional July 4th vacation with family. Thanks Tammy and Joey!

Wonderful and cozy stay

Location is great, we really liked that there were cows grazing across the creek. There were many fun activities around the area like the beach and park, we also really appreciate that the owners made their kayaks and grill available. The kids especially enjoyed the swings and fishing off the dock. House was very well kept and included many small touches to make it feel homely.

Coastal Getaway

We were told about this property by friends. It was absolutely amazing. I have to say, the descriptions and pictures don't do it justice! We knew it was a nice place with great owners, and others have had great experiences, but WOW! Beautiful home with a great view. When we weren't picking up shells at the beach (just a few minutes away), we were BBQing and sitting outside relaxing. We have stayed many places (local and international), and have experienced the good and bad of picking places on pictures and reviews alone. This one was a fantastic getaway! If you are looking for a relaxing experience, this is the place. Fish, catch crabs, laze at the beach, BBQ, watch a movie, read a book, play games with the family, relax in the many chairs, and sleep in extremely comfortable beds. It's all here and super quiet. We ate out a few times, but loaded up on groceries. It was easy to make meals in the well stocked kitchen. We will definitely be back! We brought our kids with us this time. They may not be so lucky next time.

Joey & Tammy fell in love with Sargent 7 years ago. We started out in a rv for many years on a canal and moved up to a home. The fishing is fantastic, walking the beach hunting shells & sea glass. The bird watching is amazing with the ranch across the water from our deck. The community is always friendly and willing to help a stranger. Glad we found this sleepy coastal gem and can share with visitors.

2019 home and all newer furnishings -Reviews say it all. It is a great location to all Sargent has to offer. Fantastic views, always a breeze, amazing sunrise/ sunset views. Fantastic neighborhood safe and quiet at night. A Big yard for kids or adults to run and play. Close to everything get to watch all the boat action and not have neighbors on top of you. It gives you privacy and time to enjoy your family or friends time. We really care about our guests! We want you to be impressed when you open the door and all we offer. We also want you to come back and tell your friends!

Fantastic neighborhood and huge lot! Home is Clean, Clean-Clean and super quiet at night! Great fishing off pier! High Quality beds, linens and newer kitchen furnishings! Nothing outdated looking or feeling in this home. Several amenities provided other rentals do not.
