We had a wonderful stay, and the house was so nice! Very comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything we needed, and the house was in a great area. The hosts were fantastic with communication, too!

Relaxing on the creek

The location was great. The house was clean and spacious. The outside porch was great with wonderful breezes. The kitchen was great with everything you would need. There were plenty of towels and the linen

Small vacation in October

Everything was great!! The only improvement that could be added is a fish cleaning station by the pier. The fishing was fantastic. The house is very nice and comfortable and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to staying again.

Everything looked perfect! Everything you need is there. Host was prompt with questions. Glad she provided emergency phone numbers in her Guide book as it came in handy! Even had snacks available for us to enjoy.

Awesome weekend and house

The Salty Cactus is an awesome house and provided a great weekend of fishing and crabbing. The house is very comfortable and clean and well stocked. Sara was great responding to questions and accommodating. Thank you!

Family Couples Retreat

House and Property inside and out was good. Fire Pit area did not reflect the online photos. Flood lights and pole green lights made night fishing easier.

Nice getaway from Houston with kids

The house had everything we needed and was clean when we arrived. The beds were comfortable and plenty of room for a large family or two small families. Our kids went out on the dock and fished on their own. Caught quite a few fish even a couple of large drum. Owner of the rental was very helpful and reachable at all times. We also really enjoyed the fire pit both nights, the stars were amazing!

Friends meeting

The home was inviting and stocked with the seasonings we needed. We came from Alaska and Minnesota and did not bring much with us so it was nice to have the conveniences of home without having to go to the store and purchase everything. Enjoyed the home tremendously! We got locked out and Sara was a phone call away and helped us out. Highly recommend it for get togethers! Fun place

Perfect Stay

The Salty Cactus was a wonderful place to spend a long weekend. The house and grounds were large enough to have room to spread out and not feel crowded. The house is larger than the pictures represent and very nicely decorated and spotless when we arrived with every supply you might need. The pier was an added bonus and we enjoyed fishing/crabbing. Sara the host ranks top of list in accommodating her guests. We can't wait to rent again and for a longer period. Thank you for letting us share your beautiful home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stayed. They view is wonderful. I am older and don't tolerate the heat very well. I was happy to be able to sit in the AC and watch the water, birds and my family fishing on the pier. We were pleasantly surprised by how well stocked this home is especially the kitchen and bathrooms. I expected there to be just basic cooking equipment but there is every size pot skillet cooking utensil, cups, plate, bowls, etc. that you would need. There are lots of games to play, plenty of towels (including beach towels), as well as extra pillows, sheets. We have enjoyed every bit of our mini-vacation.

House and property was nice and clean. The problems we had was lights not working and we reported it too host. She just said I'm sorry for the inconvenience. When I would have sent someone over to repair it. The other one was bad fishing. Nothing but a bunch of hard heads .
