Colorful Coastal Cottage

Welcome to the Colorful Coastal Cottage! We are located in the quiet and serene residential area of south Ocean Beach and Sunset Cliffs, San Diego. Walk a short few blocks to Sunset Cliffs Natural Park or approximately 1 mile (20-25 minute walk or 10 minute bike ride or 10 minute bus ride) from the famous and eclectically fabulous and lively downtown Ocean Beach with it’s numerous shops, dining options, bars, sweets, and the main beach, complete with lifeguards, a wide stretch of sand, swimming and surfers. Relax in our cozy, mid-century cottage in our peaceful neighborhood with ocean breezes and ocean views, recently remodeled and decorated with a casual coastal vibe. Hang out on the roomy front deck to watch the sun set, or relax in the spacious backyard, complete with lounge chairs, dining table, BBQ, hot tub and roomy lawn. We offer a spacious living room, with hardwood floors, a gas fireplace and a flat screen TV. The original retro kitchen has modern appliances, spices for cooking and a cool Nespresso Coffee Bar. There is off street parking (although there is plenty of street parking out front). Walk 2-3 blocks to the divine and beautiful Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, the secluded cliffs of Ocean Beach, and to the local mini marts and eateries. I have lived in San Diego for over 35 years and am happy to assist with suggestions and information regarding the city during your stay. We look forward to hosting you at our home away from home!*

This property is located in a quiet neighborhood with neighbors living very close to each other as in most beach-side communities. We welcome quiet, respectful and responsible tenants. If you plan on entertaining more than a few friends or family, please note this property is not right for you. We practice "meet and greet" at check-in; quickly show you around, turn over the keys and answer any questions you may have.

Minor decor details are subject to change from photos - I like to switch things up a little.

Bookings for 30+ nights available between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Discounts available. If interested, please inquire for more details. Four (4) night minimum for all bookings.

Early check-in (before 4:00) or late check-out (after 11:00), if available, may be requested for a possible additional fee.
