BUILDING NOTICE: May 14, 2026
As part of the AOAO’s ongoing commitment to safety and property improvements, the Maintenance Department and its contractor will be conducting the Annual Preventative Maintenance, cleaning, and repairs for the 6th Floor Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, and Pool Deck areas.
The pool deck area will be closed beginning Sunday, November 8 at 9:00 p.m. and is scheduled to reopen on Monday, November 16 at 7:00 a.m., weather permitting. During this time, the Pool/Jacuzzi access gate will be locked and secured, and all amenities within the area will be unavailable for use throughout the maintenance period.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this important maintenance project.

-Beach chairs, boogie board, and one cooler
-Bed linens (including one set of linens and one blanket for each bed), bath towels, beach towels, and kitchen towels
-Dishes, silverware, and cookware (including a coffee maker, tea kettle, rice cooker, and blender)
-Hair dryer, iron, and ironing board
-Starter condo supplies, including dish soap, dish sponge, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, and toilet paper (guests are responsible for replenishing supplies during their stay)

CHECK-IN IS 3:30PM — CHECK-OUT IS 10:30AM
Since another guest may check out the same day you arrive, to guarantee an early Check-In, reserve the condo for the night prior to arrival.

Great property at a great location. We really enjoyed our stay. The Shower water does fluctuate a little between hot and cold when showering, but nothing major - we were still able to shower. And the only AC is in the room, so we just left the room door open and the whole condo was cool. Can't beat the price for the room.

It was a good place to stay, it was a decent clean place but it could’ve been cleaned better like the tub and shower curtain could’ve been washed and scrubbed down. Otherwise, it was still a good deal and a good place to stay. My biggest complaint is parking is mentioned however you are still paying 45 daily parking fee, it was not truly worded in the description.

We loved staying at this one bedroom condo and would definitely stay there again. We stayed for two weeks. There's a great ocean view from the living room and also from the lanai. Air conditioning worked great. Walking distance to the beach and the center of Waikiki. ( International market place) They do supply a few items like coffee and tea, for the first day or so, but didn't leave any sugar or creamer. Target is the best place to shop for groceries in Waikiki unless you want to take the bus to Don Quijote. Pool on the 6th floor is nice, but it gets windy in the afternoon. The host was very welcoming. Enjoy Waikiki and definitely see the Auana Cirque du Solei show. It was amazing. Book early. Ps, I lived in Waikiki for 8 years and love coming back. Aloha

It was nice, but the shower water goes hot/cold constantly and the decor was a little bland. We come here to visit our Son, so it is more of a functional trip, and I would certainly stay here again.

Enjoyable

Everything we needed was there from beach chairs to beach coolers. From kitchen to utensils. Pool, gym, sauna. Very nice stay.

Everything you need to have a good time in Honolulu

Cross-breezes with balcony door and windows open allowed me 2 weeks without an air conditioner which was amazing! Incredible location and amenities, fully functional kitchen, although a little oddly arranged. Comfy bed, plenty of towels and sheets and supplies! Gorgeous views! Would highly recommend!

Pleasure stay!

The apartment was in a perfect location with enough amenities in kitchen and bathrooms with a great view in the balcony and the big windows. The apartment was very cleaned and comfy. Just parking is not good. But we still enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful unit

They loved this unit on the 9th floor. The room was nice and clean, beautiful view of the ocean. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and lagoon. Air conditioner worked really well, kitchen had everything they needed to cook too. Everything was perfect!

Family with teenagers

The futon beds in the living room were great for my 2 teenaged boys( 15&16), no complaints about being uncomfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and the amenities at Island Colony made for a great vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Review of unit in island colony

Good experience renting. Great co.munication with owner. Would have been nice to have air conditioning in the entire unit and not just the bedroom.
