You'll find an access point to the beach just across the street to the south, allowing you to easily spend your days surfing, strolling, and collecting seashells. Here on the north side of Cannon Beach, you'll be only one mile from the restaurants, breweries, and ice cream stores in the heart of downtown, and right on the southern edge of beautiful Ecola State Park (where you can hike to Crescent Beach and Indian Beach or take in the stunning view from Ecola Point).

We were celebrating a family birthday

Our bed was super comfortable upstairs. Three couples and we each had our own bathrooms. That was great. We cooked in the kitchen and there was everything we needed. Lights in the living were odd, one was leaking, that was annoying. Otherwise great for our needs.

Beach house with ocean views

We loved the location of this home and how close it was to the town. Unfortunately the kitchen and garage bedroom were very dirty, the kitchen cabinets were dirty and greasy, appliances were dusty and dirty, there was grease spilled inside a drawer, and the front of a drawer was broken off. The carpet in the garage bedroom was filthy and smelled strongly of sweaty feet. Those two rooms desperately need to be cleaned and updated. We paid a lot of money to stay here, we will not be back.

The Good and the Bad

Great location and very spaciuos home. Not clean. Sub par bath towels and toilet paper. Heater heats some rooms but not others. Beds not very comfy, the twin beds are very hard. Bbq didn’t work. Ping pong table net doesn’t like to stay up and all paddles foam was mostly gone. Outlets in some areas didn’t work. No kleenex was provided. No firewood was provided . This home might be worth the high nightly price if you split it with another family and if it was actually clean and everything worked.

Weekend Getaway

Great weekend and we were pleasantly surprised to find the Stormy Weather Arts Festival in progress!! Crazy weather but beautiful 'digs' to storm watch!! The ceiling in the Master Bedroom leaked during the peak of the storm! And....at this rental price, it would be nice if firewood were included! Grill was not clean.

Beautiful View and Good Floor Plan

Pretty cool, picturesque beach getaway with really easy/close beach access. The Setting: I liked that it was away from downtown and felt very peaceful and quiet. The view of the ocean from those big windows is absolutely beautiful. I had hoped my mother-in-law could see grandkids playing on the beach/sand from the windows, since she has limited mobility and can't make it down to the beach, but the view is primarily a grassy dune and ocean. (She did see the kite flying which was fun!) It really feels quaint and perfect for Oregon Coast! The Home: The main living room is huge and upstairs is very spacious. The finished garage game room is awesome for kids. I was a little disappointed in the interior condition of the home and finishes, especially on the lower level. The kitchen is dated but functions really well. We cooked a lot while there and they had a handful of basic items but we had to run out and buy a few staples. The furnishings/art/decor are a bit different than what the photos show in this listing. The sofas are on pads and slide trying to get up (grandkids loved this... grandparents not so much.) The overall decor felt a bit hodgepodge of items. The Funky Stuff: I also was unable to get my car up the steep driveway as it bottomed out (it's an SUV so I was really surprised) and the whole point of this home was so my MIL wouldn't have to do stairs and could be on the upper level the whole time. Unfortunately we had to park down low and enter through the lower level door then take stairs up. Be careful pulling in and don't damage the bottom of your car like I did! (My dad was able to pull his Tesla up very carefully.) There is also some funky electrical stuff (dining light is tricky/finicky, blinking light in fan, loose outlets where plugs don't stay in, etc.) and I'm sure the management company will address that when I follow up. It also felt like the heating system wasn't great for the home. In an effort to heat the lower level we turned the heat up a bit which made the upper bedroom and lower left bedroom/bathroom roasting hot but the lower bunk room and bedroom next to it were freezing cold. I almost bought a space heater since we had a newborn and the room was so cold. It didn't seem like heat was coming out of the vents in either of those two rooms (even though vents were open.) Pros: - Beautiful view/Big windows - Open living/dining kitchen floor plan - Big primary suite on upper/main level Cons - A little "rough" as far as finishes go (dated and worn) - Very steep/odd driveway I couldn't get up and tried approaching from different angles - Funky electrical - If using the lower two bedrooms they may be cold - Heads up, the bigger cookie sheets don't fit in the oven :)

Great Viewing & Walking Location

Very nice stay, house and location are fantastic. Particular added attraction was the elk herd resting at Les Shirley Park. Great to be able to walk beach then loop back through town. Fun wave and surfer watching! For your information: - Dining room light quit working. (The ones with electrical experience thought it was the dimming light switch.) - The upper cabinet to the left of the sink has a very loose hinge. Two items that would be hard to know for the repair list. Thanks, Christy

Excellent home for family stay in good Cannon Beach location

Nice kitchen, TV Ping Pong room useful for small kids, excellent location outside of crowded tourist part of town, less populated beach

Even better in person!!

This house was absolutely perfect! It’s extremely clean, the linens on the beds are high-quality and the kitchen was well stocked and organized. The living room has two swivel chairs that face the fireplace, and they also turn to face the ocean! The view is absolutely wonderful. I feel the pictures that are posted do not do the house justice. And like other reviewers have mentioned, the location is definitely off the beaten path - there was hardly any traffic on the road and the north end of the beach is delightfully quiet. I will definitely be staying here again!

Lovely home

Lovely home in an ideal location for beach walks! We were very comfortable. The house was immaculate, well furnished and supplied. Being right across from a beach access point made multiple trips a day to the beach very easy. I loved the lower floor entry with a place to leave sandy shoes and hang wet coats. Right next to the laundry ! (We never used the front door.) . Ping pong table and hot tub made our stay extra fun

Christmas in Cannon Beach

Large home. Ample accommodations for 8 people. Great view of the VM ocean and close to the beach. Great location. House needs some updating and paint on kitchen area. There were cleaning issues such as spiders and con webs which were addressed by the leasing firm and B included activating the hot tub which we had to request. The hot tub was not available on day we arrived. There was a strange order the last two days we are there in the lower level which I reported but did not hear if the cause was identified.

Great house

We had a wonderful time at this property. Full kitchen was fantastic, plus the view of the ocean from the family room was incredible. I really enjoyed having my morning coffee with that view.

Best Rate for Cannon Beachfront

Perfect location, a 10 minute walk to Hemlock so you're close to town but also secluded from the droves of tourists. Stepping out the front door you're just a few yards from a beach access trail that gets much less traffic, as you're well over a mile north of Haystack Rock. The home itself is very nice, albeit a bit outdated. What it lacks in 21st century inclusions compensates well with its views and amenities. At $250/night I'd recommend this house 24/7

Beautiful home right next to the beach

This property was wonderful with access to the beach right across the street and plenty of room for our family. We loved warming up in the hot tub and taking in the ocean views from the big living room windows. Overall, we had a great stay!

Loved it!

This is the 3rd or 4th time we’ve stayed here with our family and we’ve loved it every time! Plenty of room for a large family or extended family. Great location, with a beautiful view of the ocean and only a few steps from the beach. We will stay here again!

Exceeded our expectations!

This home was perfect for two adult couples. It was attractively and comfortably furnished. Beds were super and bedding was abundant. The kitchen was well outfitted with decent appliances (except for the stove) and cookware. Loved the location too, right across the road from the path to the beach. We will rent this home again.
