This spacious new home built in 2005 is set between the Pacific Ocean in front, and a beautiful forested Wet Land in the back with a view of Tillamook Head.
At almost 4000 sq feet of living area and decks, you will have plenty of room for everyone. (up to 12 adults + children under 5)
The bedrooms are very large with either a King or Queen bed. And there are 2 dens with several additional beds. We do not allow outside bedding to be brought in. There is ample bedding provided.

Great for Family Reunions, Church and Civic groups, or Wedding Parties.
Larger groups? No problem, book both our houses (#148425 & #68490) for up to 24 adults + children under 4, and receive a discount. Occupancy limits apply to adults.

Fantastic !

We stayed for a week and it was a wonderful time! The location is absolutely perfect! There is a lot of space for families to spread out for privacy and the owner was fantastic to work with!

Roomy and Quiet

Loved staying at this property. It had plenty of space for our kids/grandkids and was a peaceful place to watch the ocean and catch up on sleep. Easy beach access was wonderful. I'd stay here again!

Great time!

This property worked great for our multi generational family get-together. Everything was great. We especially enjoyed the view of the ocean from the main floor's window.

Wonderful trip

Worked well for our family of twelve. Plenty of space. Smaller kitchen but worked ok. Great view…wonderful weather that weekend and many surfers right out the windows

Beautiful view, conveniently located

We stayed at Ron and Marcy’s over the weekend of Hood to Coast. It was a wonderful space to stay with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Ron and Marcy were very responsive to any issues that came up. We’re looking forward to coming back next year.

Best view of the beach!

We stayed with family for the Independence Day holiday. We were treated to the best firework show the OR coast could offer. The house was clean and well equipped and pleasant communication with the owners made our vacation stress free and enjoyable.

Sibling vacation

The rooms in the house were even bigger than we expected and the location was perfect! Not only did we have a great view of the ocean and surfers, but behind us we had forests and mountains. We enjoyed early morning walks through the neighborhood seeing deer, and beautiful homes and gardens. Will definitely recommend this home!

Seaside Family Reunion

Right from the get go the communication with the hosts was prompt and friendly. Walking into the front door made us feel like we were ready to relax and be with family. There was so much room for accommodations and to be together in one family room and kitchen. The view was amazing! Sitting there looking out the wonderful picture windows was so relaxing and serene. It was fun to watch surfers and fishermen do their thing. We would most definitely stay again!

Nice Place

Overall good experience. Having to wash and dry all dishes and linens before checkout is a lot to ask. The floors weren’t particularly clean. Sleeps lots of people. Great location to beach and golf course. Views are wonderful! Well equipped kitchen. Huge rooms and bathrooms.

Down by the Sea

Great communication from start to finish. We’re a family that travel to seaside each summer for 50 years. Our parents started the tradition and now my siblings and i All book and stay to carry on a wonderful tradition. This little cove is spectacular, waking to watch the surfers and ending our day with a magnificent sunset. Everything was great! Marcy and Ron are wonderful hosts🌟

Great property and even better location!

Many in my family have vacationed in Seaside for years, and this is the first time we have rented a house for the annual trip. We were not disappointed. The Property Owner was amazing to work with, and I have no complaints from that angle. The house was in a great location, close enough to the Promenade, etc. to walk if you would like, but far enough that traffic was extremely minimal. We had a great time watching pelicans dive all day out the main windows, and even my family members who live on the coast in Florence were amazed with the view. Highly recommend.

Great for our Sales Meeting/Rep Weekend

We're a group of Leanin' Tree sales reps from WA, OR, and ID who had our annual sales meeting here in September 2011...we liked it so much we've already reserved for 2012. The house has plenty of room for everyone and if there was any problem it was that the view (and the cute surfers!) caused occasional distractions from the sales meeting...not a problem anyone minded! Great house, great hosts and pretty doggoned good view, too!

Magical place for a memorable vacation

Twenty of my family stayed in the two houses to help me celebrate a "big" birthday. The houses had a luxurious amount of space for our group, and were furnished to provide maximum comfort for all. Both kitchens included enough dishes and cooking utensils for group meals. The view is beyond compare. Fireworks on the 4th were fabulous. We enjoyed campfires across the street. Plenty of activities nearby to satisfy all ages. Both houses were beautifully clean, and the owners were friendly and responsive. We can't wait to go back!

great house

Our group of 12, 10 adults and 2 children really enjoyed the house and the area. The beach just across the street was a huge and fun sand box for our children. Our hikers could go straight up the road for a great hike. We also enjoyed traveling south along the coast for fantastic ocean sights. The town had the usual tourist attractions and the side streets were ablaze with summer flowers. The house was roomy and comfortable and ocean watching from the big bay windows was a favorite. Two dining room tables for comfortable seating for all was special since we had not found that in other homes we have rented.

Family Beach Trip

The house had more than enough rooms and beds for everyone as well as seating for mealtime. It was convenient the house had high chairs, baby gates, portable crib/playpen as well as electric outlet covers on the top floor. It made vacationing with 2 under 1.5 years old less stressful. The view is beautiful and can be seen from every floor. The beach is literally across the street. However, there are rocks that lead to the beach that can pose a problem to someone with mobility issues. Otherwise this part of the beach is perfect to see surfers and collect sand dollars.

50th Anniversary trip to Seaside!

My parents, siblings, and I live in Washington state, Indiana, and Kentucky, but we wanted to be together to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. We also needed plenty of space to sleep, cook, eat, hang out, and play, with seven kids ranging in age from 19 to 4, and eight adults. A big group! Ron and Marcy’s property met all of our needs and more. We could all eat and visit together at dinner time. The teenagers could hang out on the 3rd floor, and the adults could take in the spectacular view on the 2nd. Plenty of bathrooms, linens, and dishes. We’ve stayed at other cabins together before, but this one was just perfect. Ron and Marcy were great about answering my questions. The beach in the cove is not as busy as on the main drag, the downtown is within the walking distance, and you can make a fires on the beach in the evening for s’mores. Overall, we think the property is a gem and would love to make another trip to Seaside in the future. Thank you, Ron and Marcy!

Our Family Reunion

This was a great venue for our reunion! With both units it was definitely large enough for our large family of 30+ who came from all over the Northwest. It would have been nice to have a means to get from one unit to another without having to go outside and back up the stairs, though. The location made it easy for everyone to drive to. We had family coming and going for 9 days and there was always room to accommodate them all. The teenagers would build a beach fire most everynight and during the day we enjoyed going down to the beach for games and relaxation. There was something for everyone at any age. When the overcast would set in we would head to Cannon Beach where the sun was always shining, plus we all enjoyed the shopping, too. The Seaside golf course not far from the units was a great place for our family golf tournament on one of the days. Marcy and Ron were very accommodating to our needs, replacing coffee pots that were broken and allowing us to park extra cars we had in other parking places close by. The views from every floor were outstanding and changed daily, with beautiful sunsets at night. We would not hesitate to recommend these properties for anyone wanting to be by the ocean and close to the various activities the area has to offer. A reunion to remember!!!

You Can't Go Wrong!

My family and I have stayed at Sunset Cove vacation rental 2 times now and hope to make it a yearly tradition in memory of my mom. We looked for a place for my 83-yr-old dad, 5 siblings and spouses with 6 separate sleeping spaces for adults and this home fits us perfectly. There are plenty of bathrooms and group living spaces. LOVE IT! Of course, the main attraction at Sunset Cove is the million dollar view. Your breath will be taken away when you walk into the 2nd or 3rd floor living rooms. You won't find a more beautiful view anywhere, no matter what the weather, with panoramic views of the Seaside Cove and its majestic waves, surfers, and sunsets. (If the waves are right, the surfers will be there, even in the rain!) Sunset Cove has a well-equipped kitchen and is clean throughout. The 2 dining tables seat many people all at the same time and are wonderful for our family meals and table games. There are lots of spare chairs in the closets if needed. Because the house has 3 floors, people need to be able to climb steps. We are very grateful to Ron and Marcy for sharing this special place with our extended family. We're creating so many special family memories at this fabulous location. You can't go wrong in renting Sunset Cove!

Excellently-Equipped For Our Reunion

We had a family reunion of thirty people from across the US and overseas--not necessarily easy to please everyone and make it comfortable for the different number of small children and groups of families. We had so much space at this location. It had a beautiful view of the ocean on either side of the condo-style establishment, and it was very nice to be able to have the whole family in one location. Literally, we were right across from the beach and it was very easy to walk down and get our toes wet or walk about 10 minutes along the coastline to the Boardwalk where all the shops and restaurants were. It was very well equipped and could handle 30 people on one side all watching a family video, having collective meals, or playing games together. The layout of all the bedrooms was very nice and fit everyone very well and very comfortably with a few beds to spare. There were a lot of little spaces that people could lounge in for privacy, along with larger spaces for larger gatherings. I couldn't imagine a better way to spend a week with family that only comes together once every 10 years. It was very easy to find and very comfortable to spend time in. Everyone enjoyed themselves and it couldn't have been a more perfect location or size. The only comments for improvement I would make is that you couldn't hear the ocean really. That is more a personal preference to be able to hear the crashing waves throughout the day and night--not everyone would enjoy that. But an easy trot downstairs and out the door and the full effect of the sound was ready for my ears. It would have also been nicer to walk between the condos through an inside doorway, but again, since the condos can be rented out separately, it would need to be more of a hotel-style double door so there's no access when it's rented out to different families. Overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lot of space without feeling like it's too much. It is very clean and homey and I would definitely go again and again to relive the experience.

Wonderful View

The home was lovely, with lots of available options for space and beds - real beds, not hide-a-beds or cots! We were in love with the view of the ocean, and thoroughly enjoyed watching the waves and the surfers. One member of our party was recovering from a serious illness, and found the experience to be very healing. The kitchen equipment was adequate, but not impressive. I would definitely suggest bringing your own knives if you plan to do much cooking. I am not sure why, but the communication with the property manager was difficult, like our e-mails did not connect. I gave her every contact method I have and it finally worked out. All in all it was a great experience. (My brother chose another property and was jealous of our accommodations!)

We are longtime residents of the Seaside area, and have designed and built many of the homes here. Ron was a contractor here and is now retired, and Marcy has a State Farm Insurance office in nearby Warrenton. We live a few doors down, and love the easygoing 'Cove' style of living.

Located in Seaside, both #68490 & #148425 are unique, and have the best view on the Oregon Coast. It faces Northwest, and has a view of the surf coming in at an angle. You can watch surfers come all the way across the front of the house. You have to see it to believe it! The Pictures don't do it Justice!
It is also out of the noise and confusion of the down town area, but only a short walk to the south end of the prom, and is much closer to the surf than any of the houses on the Prom.

When you arrive, the beds are made, the towels are out, and there is a complementary supply of paper products and soaps. The only thing you have to do is unpack and stock the kitchen! If there is anything you need prior to your stay, just let us know and we will do out best to acquire it for you.
We do not allow pets , or smoking and use allergen free cleaning materials to cater to people with allergies or who are sensitive to chemicals and odors. (If you travel with a service animal we can recommend a pet friendly house nearby.
