The Cave Run Lake Cabin

Minutes from Cave Run Lake in Daniel Boone National Forest this 1200 square foot cabin sits on a quiet street in a nice cabin community.

The cabin sleeps up to 7 and has all the modern amenities. It has a large living room that can be used as a sleeping area and a large loft upstairs. This is one main room upstairs but split into two sleeping areas.

The driveway is big enough for your boat with the closest ramp less than 3 miles away. Extra boat parking behind the shed.

It is a short drive from Red River Gorge which has long been a favorite attraction to people in Kentucky so if you are looking for some fun, and peace and quiet, look no further and book today!

Window ac units, was not turned on upon arrival that would be only downfall. I would bring fans , We left it cleaner than was when we got there , will leave review if cleaning fee no damage or any others ate refunded as said in termsThe grill and fire pit was our favorite spot .

We don’t leave the air conditioning units on because we don’t know what time people check in as well as we don’t have that many guests to leave it on constantly. Our cleaners mentioned you left it in pretty good shape, but I know they do a great job for every guest we have. In such a rural setting of Daniel Boone Forest, we have bugs, spiders, and all kinds of creatures right in our back yard. That’s why we like it, and our guests enjoy the area.

Fun cabin near Cave Run Lake and Red River Gorge. We spent a day just hanging out at the cabin, plus a day each in Red River Gorge and Carter Caves. Each night was spent around the firepit. Great place!

such a great weekend!

it was so cozy, and clean! we loved it here will definitely recommend to others! easy check in and was able to sit but the fire a few nights!

Easy for lake stay

Easy place to go for the weekend when you plan on being at the lake and just hanging out with friends or family and having a little escape that is budget friendly.

The property was very clean and well-maintained. Very cozy and charming property. Pet-friendly is a plus. The host is very kind and easy to communicate with. It's a quiet neighborhood and perfect for relaxing. The screened-in porch with chairs is also perfect for calm nights.

Beautiful location and easy to book. Only problem we had was there were some wasps inside the cabin.

Beautiful area and great accommodation

My family spent a long weekend away before we move yet again with the military. The area was absolutely breathtaking. The cabin was all we needed and more. There was nothing we needed as everything was provided. Thanks for a great stay.

Cozy cabin

Great little place!

We absolutely loved our stay! The screened in porch was a huge hit for my two year old! It was nice for him to be able to play and get some fresh air without have to worry about him running off. Overall a nice and cozy cabin! Would def recommend!!

Great time

The entire process from rental to checkout was wonderful. Owner/caretaker even checked the trash after we left because I thought we had accidentally put a bag of laundry in the trash can. Very accommodating and peaceful stay!

Outstanding experience

Nice cabin

Enjoyed our stay. Cabin had more than enough room for us. Cabin was supplied with almost everything we needed. We forgot a lighter for the fire pit & grill & did not find one in cabin. There was a Dollar General store close which was convenient.

Beautiful property!

The cabin is beautiful and in a lovely location. The screened-in porches were especially nice. It is not a 2-bedroom, however. That's explained in the description, but it really should be listed as a 1-bedroom property.

Thanks for staying! The previous owners used the current living area as a bedroom and the dining room as the living room. I since have converted it to add more living space. The downstairs living area, while open serves as a second private sleeping area away from the large upstairs loft.

Perfect for Weekend Getaway

The directions provided by the host were excellent, and needed since we lost service about 15 minutes out! It's a cute neighborhood, neighbors didn't bother us at all. Hikes required a bit of a drive, but the place itself was very clean, warm (wood burning stove!). Bring your own firewood or be prepared to go find it!

Stay at the cozy cabin

The stay was good, i only have two suggestions and that would be to have a fan or some kind of cooling source in the living room to help cool the down stairs a little quicker, second thing would be to clean a little better in the shower..Overall our stay was great there were lots of extra amenities thats definitely made the experience very at home like, we would definitely rent this cabin again

Low key family fun spot

We were hoping for an outdoorsy weekend, but weather had other plans. Still, This was a fun property to hide away from the cold rain. The screened in porch was a perfect place for coffee breaks and card games! Owner was very responsive and friendly
