With an indoor wood burning stove and an outside fire pit, this location is perfect for the simple pleasures of life. Full kitchen and game room complete the listing, along with two queen bed/private sleeping quarters, divided with heavy curtains.

Beautifully decorated. Tucked away on the mountain. Located close to anything and everything in Cookeville. I spent a week here and loved every minute. Anna is a great designer and host. I had a great stay at Cabin on the Hill!!

The cabin was adorable. The property is close to a few National Parks and to Historic Downtown Cookeville. We had a wonderful stay.

What a gem! We stayed almost a week. Perfect location between cookeville and Livingston. Tons of windows and very comfortable.

Perfect mini cabin

We greatly enjoyed our stay. My husband is a residential developer/contractor and he was super impressed with the buildout!

My husband and I enjoyed our two weeks stay at this property, The host Anna was very responsive when I had a question, everything was spotless and beyond my expectations, super quiet area just you and nature and all the cows around the Cabin which was a great surprise also the the horses and goats across the Cabin and two friendly turkeys just walking around. The birds are so nice to watch and hear every morning, simply peaceful, you have everything you need to cook, the grill has seen betters days but we managed to grill some hamburgers and hotdogs. It’s an old Cabin with modern upgrades inside. Simply beautiful and amazing. I recommend it.

Wonderful!

This is the cutest rental we have ever stayed in, it is a beautiful property! Communication was excellent. Our kids loved the upstairs beds with curtains, and the downstairs bedroom was big enough for our travel crib. Would love to stay again!

The most stunning cabin I’ve ever stayed in!

My boyfriend and I had the most magically time in this cabin. The vibe is super cozy and location is perfect! The best way to end our weekend getaway ❤️ This place has given us inspo to build a place like this of our own. 100% will be returning soon.

Very quaint place to stay. Enjoy the quietness.

We didn’t understand having to pay $90.00 for cleaning, then asked to put our sheets in the washer. Also upon arrival, we had to put the rugs down, as they were just piled on the floor, and the dryer was running with bedding in it. Noticed the floors under the couch and chair were not clean, as well as an ink pen on the floor and crumbs at the side entry door. The TV didn’t work. Found new batteries and it still didn’t work. Otherwise great place!

Sorry, John! Must have been some slight oversights by our cleaning crew upon departing. We score high on cleanliness and communication, and I'm sorry that we missed the mark on your visit. The cabin is large-ish with three queen beds, so $90 is under market price for cleaning fee. We try to keep that rate low but keep the laundry on-site in order to do so. Thanks again for your visit!

Real Refuge!

Perfect escape from the stresses of a hard year ~ we wanted seclusion with peace & quiet! Great location away from noise & hustle bustle of a city, but close enough for grocery needs. Cheerful with lots of natural light & surrounded by woods on all 4 sides, with deer peeking in the mornings. Comfortable, quality bedding. The owner was prompt with concerns. The well designed cabin will accommodate many more, but was perfect for a mother/daughter retreat. We brought our own food & loved prepping in the kitchen. Great appliances & bath facilities. We seldom left, but did visit a nearby waterfall. We hated to leave & can't wait to plan a return.

Relaxing cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. Very clean & well stocked. Great location as it felt like we were “in the woods”, but only 15 minutes to downtown Cookeville. I would love to stay again.

Serene and luxurious getaway

We really enjoyed this cabin. Every nook and corner has been well thought out. The appliances are top notch, the decor is stunning yet simple, the showers are luxurious with Turkish towels and high quality shampoo and conditioner, and the outdoors has a great stone firepit stocked with wood and comfortable Adirondack chairs. The field gets lit up with fireflies in the evening. The bedroom upstairs is so quaint and my kids loved their personal bedroom reading lights. Note that the winding stairs to get upstairs could be steep for the elderly, but the main bedroom with bath is on the main floor.

Idealic Cabin

One on the best places we have stayed. Great out of the way modern cabin, but close to town amenities. The beds were the best for a good nights rest, would come back just for that. The isolation allowed for great star watching and the smell of fresh cut hay was rich and sweet in the fields. Pictures could not do it justice.

Girl's getaway

This is such a cute property with top of the line appliances and finishes. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure the air is turned down to a comfortable temperature a couple of hours prior to guest arrival. It was super hot and took several hours to cool down. We also felt the need to wipe down the toilets because the seats were not 100% clean. The owner was super helpful in getting in and helping us deal with the air conditioning. We will come back for sure.

Charm and Convenience outside of Cookeville

The Cabin on the Hill offered to us a most welcome respite from the worries and cares of the world, washed away as if by the bursts of thunderstorms we enjoyed watching from the unobstructed views of the surrounding windows, while we relaxed during the day with family and made full use of the well-equipped kitchen to add some comforts of home, enveloped in the charm of the wooded farmland and the firefly nights of early summer. It was a truly serene and pleasant place to rest our feet, heads, and hearts.
