Wonderful property with deck right on River. Wildlife paraded by…elk, deer, a herd of wild horses, so cool! Walked to shops and farmers market. Loved the location, just a little hard to find road to the cabin.Disappointed the hot tub wasn’t working and didn’t find out before arrival.Coffee maker didn’t work first morning so I called mgmt company and within 15 minutes the maintenance man delivered brand new coffee maker. Overall loved the cabin and had a great stay.

Such a beautiful cabin. Perfect for my son and I. I loved that it felt private but was close to town and everything. Will definitely be staying again.

A nice little get away

They need to put address on the cabin, could not find. The entry code was different when we arrived, had to call to get new code.

Wonderful Stay

Enjoyed stay so much, we considered going back a few weeks later but already booked. Right off creek; wildlife watch fun. Clean. Absolutely loved it.

We messaged the host 2 different times 1 about a company named condotel contacting us saying they needed an id to verify age but we didn't know where to send it , and to tell them the hot tub was not working no response. When we arrived door code did not work contacted host no response so contacted this condotel that asked for our id apparently they are the company to deal with. They gave the number to contact the hot tub guy he was extremely nice and said the hot tub was down and we should have been notified. I contacted condotel they said we would be compensated and they would call us the next day if not the next day for sure by Monday. We received no call on Monday. On Saturday as we got back to the cabin and in for the night we realized we were on supplied with half a roll of toilet paper spowe had to run to the store to buy some for the remainder of the stay. When we arrived as we pulled up there was an older jeep parked right up against the backside of the cabin we thought we might have been at the wrong place when we contacted this Condotel company they informed us that not to worry it was the owners jeep and they wouldn't be by there at any time during our stay. It still is kinda of uncomfortable when you look out the bedroom windows and see a strange vehicle parked right beside your windows. Definitely will not be staying again. Just go back to using hotels.

Nice Place in Ruidoso!

The property was very nice and clean. The stream that runs beside the property was peaceful. Everything was as presented on the website. The only negative was the neighbors that rented the two units out next door (part of the same complex-cabins 2 &4). They had parties the last two nights and had 7 vehicles there on the last night of our stay. The permanent neighbors across the stream must have had enough and ended up calling the police to get them to quiet down on Friday night. No fault of the management company or owners of the property. Unfortunately, you can't predict how others will behave.

Be cautious

Pictures and description are deceiving! I never write bad reviews but I want others to beware. First, location is not “uptown Dallas” as advertised. The worst thing though was that the property smelled so strongly of marijuana that we only stayed one night out of four. The smell was all consuming. There was no mattress protector or top sheet on the bed and NO towels were provided. We had to go buy towels in order to take a shower! If you want to park inside the designated area you have to put down a hefty, although refundable, deposit for the opener! The kitchen was poorly stocked and there’s no way one could have made a meal there. I also saw a roach run across the floor and under the refrigerator (it sure does make one leery to walk around without shoes). There are no pictures of the outside of this place because I think that would deter guests from booking. Like I said, pictures can be deceiving. We stayed only one out of the four nights we booked. Wish I could get my money back, but lesson learned.

Nice little getaway

Property over all as good to us. It was clean and I liked the location. The little water creek was a bonus we would stay again.

Amazing

Cabin was perfect and the creek in front was so relaxing. Road was a little rough getting in and out but we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

Weekend Getaway

Our family stayed here for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and as advertised. My daughter loved the river, which is just a stones throw from the front porch. And my wife enjoyed the shopping district that was within walking distance. I would recommend this little cabin. Warning: use the driving directions provided by the renter... gps did me no favors finding it.

Was not as described!

I Booked this cabin for the hot tub. It was absolutely disgusting. Water was green and had a yellow ring of gunk around it, and it smelled like dead fish. (To the point you could smell it on the deck) Inside of the cabin was dusty. Cobwebs on all the light fixtures, and the sink had rotten food in the top of the garbage disposal that smelled HORRIBLE! Also the bathroom door knob was broken, both handles spin but the inside part never moved. (I got stuck in the bathroom within the first 10 min of being there) My husband had to come open the door with his pocket knife... I called condotel to complain first thing Saturday morning. The lady in the office offered to send someone to fix the bathroom door, and to call and check on the hot tub cleaning person, but they hadn't been able to get ahold of him for MONTHS! I told her the door wasn't a big deal since it was just me and my husband we could just leave the bathroom door open, but to please get someone on the hot tub. My husband had asked for a cabin in the mountains with a hot tub for his birthday weekend and he really wanted to be able to get in the hot tub, not to mention the you could smell it outside. She said she would call them and let me know. She NEVER CALLED ME BACK! I personally think if something isn't working, or currently available like a hot tub the listing should reflect that! I would have NEVER spent $800 for 2 nights in a cabin for a birthday weekend getaway with my hubs had I known the cabin & hot tub were not being maintained properly.

Disappointed in Ruidoso

The cabin was clean on the inside, lovely location. Uncomfortable front porch furniture 2 small camp chairs. Hot tub was filthy. There was dog poop all over the grounds of the cabin. The management did finally get those issues resolved. There was no all purpose cleaner and little hand soap. I’d say most all of Ruidoso is not taking COVID serously so if you’re concerned I wouldn’t visit this town. Thanks

House was great and just as advertised. Wonderful location and walkable to restaurants..

The process was very easy and would recommend to anyone traveling to Ruidoso.
