Great place to stay
We could have had a great time here unfortunately upon our arrival the pool had not been heated. We prepaid for that service and it was too cold for us to enjoy the water. But on to a bigger issue.....
The outdoor table was broken and glass was everywhere around the pool. After 3 of our guests had to pick glass out of their feet, we stopped going outside. We specifically booked at this location for the pool so that was a huge disappointment for our 3 year old & 2) 6 year old kiddos.
We checked in on a Monday and no one responded to my email. I sent an email through VRBO too. I called multiple times and did not get an answer. We called again on Wednesday morning and they said someone would be right over. 6 hours later...... The gentleman that came by confirmed that the pool heat had not been turned on and I told him I wanted refunded for that and told him not to bother with turning it on. He was very kind but we had no use for the pool after Wednesday night since our itinerary had us away from the house. I'm very disappointed about this! I promised my kids swimming morning and night and they got cold water and glass in their feet.
I still have not been refunded for the cost of the pool heating. I find this incredibly unprofessional.
Suggestion for owner: Add pot holders and kitchen oven mitts. It was extremely challenging for us to cook without them.
