Vacation with extended family or close friends in this bright, spacious home with lots of room both indoors and outdoors. Enjoy the private, natural setting any time of year. Just 5 miles to Cooperstown All Star Village and 14 miles to Cooperstown Dreams Park.

This home is on a quiet, country road with plenty of space between neighbors and tree lines that provide additional privacy.

You'll have full access to the entire property during your stay

The main floor of this home includes an open floor plan, so the family can spread out amongst the kitchen, dining area and living room and still see and talk with each other. The living room has large windows that let in tons of natural light and showcase the natural setting outside. Also on the main floor are 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom with laundry. In the finished basement level is a large open floor plan with walk-out french doors, a seating/tv area that doubles as sleeping space, a gaming area with Nintendo Switch, plus a bunk bed and full bath. The outdoor space at this home is a vast open area of mowed grass, surrounded by trees and wildlife. You're likely to see deer and turkeys during your stay. There's also a firepit, deck with outdoor dining furniture and a propane grill.

This property is a few miles from town so the best way for traveling around the area is by car. There is free, private driveway parking for up to 4 vehicles.

We are currently accepting reservations based on the Cooperstown All Star Village baseball schedule for the summer 2025, as follows:

Perfect Place for Baseball Families

This is the perfect property to stay at if your child is playing at All Star Village. It is close and a quiet place to relax.

Great place!

Was perfect for the whole family to stay and relax during a baseball tournament. Plenty of space inside and out. Home was very clean and owner was very responsive to any questions! Would definitely stay there again!

Very pleasant getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay at Melissa's property. The house was very clean, and we had plenty of room. The check-in process was easy as well. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great stay

We needed a place near Oneonta and Cooperstown to visit friends. Great location and access to nearby towns via backroads. Beautiful natural setting! Owner was very responsive to our questions and needs. Would totally stay again when we come up to see family.

Family Weekend Get Away

We truly enjoyed our quick trip to Laurens and a peaceful stay at this home. A great get away with our own space but close enough to all locations. Very clean and accommodating home. We enjoyed our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

Nice house and location

Very close to Cooperstown All Star Village. The property was nice, well maintained and lot of room for a couple families to stay! The property manager was quick to respond and helpful whenever we needed.

Beautiful property! Super clean with every amenity needed for a fun family weekend. The weather did not cooperate but we still had great time since there's so much room inside! Would absolutely stay again.

I loved staying at this property. Melissa was very considerate and made sure we had everything we needed. Great communication! It was a big home and had everything necessary for us to stay and be comfortable!

Nice home away from home

The home is nice and clean. We especially loved the living room. The huge windows gave us a great view of the mountains. Eric is very accommodating and responds immediately.

Great Place to Stay

The property was the best place to have a small family reunion. Everything in the house was labeled and east to find with PLENTY of activities to keep the kids busy. The location was a short drive to our local family members home and made it easy to travel back and forth. Melissa wa more than helpful our whole stay and I'd lo love to make a trip there again!

Great place!

Beautiful house and property. Immense backyard, our dog loved it. Very nice interior of the home, excellent TVs, well stocked kitchen. Excellent communication with owner. I would highly recommend.

Clean, private, and spacious plus huge backyard

This house was perfect for our stay. It was close to Oneonta (5 miles), out in the country in the mountains with a fabulous view, had a huge secluded backyard which was perfect for kids and dogs, lots of room inside the house…loved the big dining room table and full basement, lots of amenities, would stay again. Highly recommmend.

Perfect

House was perfect for two families to share who both have players at all star village. Each was able to have their own bathroom and private sleeping floor and then share the living spaces. It was clean and decorated lovely.

We enjoyed the property so much. It was a wonderful spot to bring our dog. They have everything you need there! It was so close to the college track with everything so handy. The large jet tub was a perfect ending to a chilly day at the track. Hostess was so kind and communicative. Very pleased! If you’re considering this property - do it!

Great home for Cooperstown Dreams

We were in town for Baseball at Cooperstown Dreams park. The home is about a 20 min drive from Dreams and about 30 min from Cooperstown. The home is very clean and updated. It seems like the basement was recently redone.. or finished because it looked brand new. Great home and great price. Easily can accommodate 10 people.

Fantastic rental

I contacted Melissa to rent this property for the July 4th weekend for my tournament baseball team. From the beginning, the communication between us was outstanding and she answered every question quickly. The property itself was clean, had plenty of room and the amenities were outstanding. We had nine adults and one infant and we had room to spare. Melissa even provided a portable crib for the infant! 10 out of 10 we would stay here again and may make it our go to rental for our Cooperstown tournament!

Hi, I'm Melissa! I grew up in Oneonta, NY so I have been part of the community for all of my life. After leaving the area for college, my husband and I chose to return to Oneonta to raise our 3 boys because it's a great place to raise a family.

The entire property has so much to offer; there is vast open space surrounding the house, it's very private and peaceful because the property is lined by trees and the area is quiet due to it's location. The views are beautiful, from sunrise, to sunset and star gazing at night. There's so much space inside the house to spread out and relax, the home is very comfortable and truly feels like a home away from home.
