A beautifully renovated 100 year old farmhouse with all the conveniences including a fantastic pool! Located on a quiet road only 12 minutes from Dreams Park and 10 miles from All Star Village. A large shaded deck extends around two sides of the house featuring a gas grill and summer furniture, there is an additional small deck off of the master bedroom. Plenty of places to enjoy the serene country setting and view of lovely Otsego County NY.

Anita's Acres has a fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining room, living room and full bath on the first floor. Upstairs are four bedrooms: one king with TV, one queen with TV, one full and one has a pyramid bunk bed with a trundle bed underneath(ideal for 4 kids), and then two full baths. All rooms come with complete linens, WiFi, and window air conditioners, to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Lovely farmhouse within 20 min drive to Dreams Park. Ample beds, rooms and baths to house 6 adults and 2 kids. Kitchen is small for the amount of people, but with the baseball schedule we didn’t do much cooking anyway. There was a grill for use too. Roosters come greeting each morning and Anita was very welcoming and hospitable. Great little country getaway from baseball life. Thanks, Anita, for a great stay!

Great stay

This was a great stay in a country setting. Beautiful countryside with most everything you need. Deer and ducks to keep you entertained. The pool kept the kids entertained.

Amazing Farm House Near Cooperstown Fields

Anita was awesome and the house was perfect for our family. Highlights include: less than 20 min from Dreams Park, kids loved the pool, nice to get away from the baseball chaos. We all loved living on a farm for 6 days, highly recommend this comfortable stay!

We all loved the farmhouse and the property. Everything was so nice and clean. The owners were very hospitable. If we come back to Dreams Park we will certainly stay with Anita again!

Quaint and charming farm house

Anita’s Acres was the perfect retreat for our two family group that was in town while our sons played at Cooperstown Dreams Park. Great location, barely 15 minutes from the fields but away from the hustle and bustle of the tournament. The house had a lot of space including lots of bathrooms and common areas to hang out. The pool was a huge bonus especially for the kids. Highly recommend this adorable farm house if you’re visiting the area.

Great farmhouse!

Perfect for a family update when attending the baseball games at Cooperstown. We were only 12 minutes away from the park other families were over 45 minutes away

"If Anita Builds it, they will come"

Anita built it, and you should most definitely come! Extremely peaceful farm setting, located 15 min from Cooperstown, Dreams Park and All Star village. Anita was extremely helpful and always there to assist. Pool is fantastic for the family to enjoy. And at night, the 50+ deer grazing allows for a relaxing end to the day. Nothing but positives on the property!

Beautiful Home & Property Perfect for Cooperstown dream Fields

We enjoyed staying in Anita’s 100 year old renovated farm house during the week our grandson participated in Cooperstown Dreams Field Baseball Tournament. The location was perfect, just 12 minutes from the fields. The setting of the renovated home on a beautifully maintained farm was ideal and Anita was a great host. We had recently visited Field of Dreams in Iowa and we felt we were now living in a setting just like that and getting to enjoy our grandson’s week long baseball tournament. 5 stars all the way! Thank toy Anita!

Peaceful stay

My friends and I stayed here since our boys were playing in Cooperstown. It is about 15 ride to the park. Very peaceful. Tons of deer around to watch. The house is a little out dated but not bad. There were a few things that we needed for the house that the owner brought over right away. Check in was easy. Pool was nice. It did have a heater but it wasnt on. Kids didn’t really care. Overall is was great for what we needed it for. We lived on the baseball fields so we just needed a place to stay overnight and cook food. It met our needs.

Relaxing and Inviting

We had a wonderful stay. Anita went above and beyond taking care of us to be sure we had everything we needed. Our 4 year old LOVED the pool. We spent our time back and forth between the farm house and Cooperstown Dreams Park. The drive was beautiful and easy to do each day. I highly recommend this lovely house.

Great place for families in the area for Cooperstown baseball!

Our family enjoyed staying at Anita's Acres while our son was playing baseball at All Star Village. It was a quick straight-shot drive to the park that allowed us to come back for midday meals and afternoon dips in the pool between games. The house was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots/pans and dinnerware. The location of the house allowed for a fantastic, cool summer breeze and the A/C units worked well when needed. Anita and family were very welcoming and helped with any questions we had. We would highly recommend staying at this property and hope to return when our younger son is in Cooperstown in two years.

My name is Anita Barra and with my husband Randi we moved our family to upstate NY in 2002 to raise our kids outside of the city atmosphere of Baltimore. We have enjoyed country living ever since then. With the enjoyment of a much slower pace we found out quickly we missed some of the social interaction with others. We decided to open our farm to visitors, so began the process of remodeling old farmhouse to let others enjoy the beauty of this area. We finished in '06/'07 and our adventure began.

This farmhouse is at least 100 years old, the history is amazing. We chose this area to get away and enjoy a slower pace. You will frequently see many deer grazing in the fields, along with turkey. We have a family of eagles living close by so they come to visit regularly, you may even see the occasional coyote, if you are lucky.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

All the modern conveniences while still being close to the baseball parks. Plenty of room to roam and break out the family wiffle ball game. The pool is a nice relaxing benefit to sometimes a long day of baseball.
