Overall, we had a positive stay and enjoyed our time at the property. The home had a lot of charm, and we appreciated the setting and the opportunity to spend time together there. We did experience a few hiccups during our stay, but the host was responsive and made an effort to help address our concerns, which we appreciated. While everything wasn’t perfect, we still came away with an overall positive experience and some wonderful memories from our time there.

Location was excellent. Quiet, Secluded, Beautiful vistas. The house was simple yet had all the qualities to embrace the surrounding beauty to decompress,and reenergize!!! Great communication w owner. Stairs under construction but owner gave other options to access beach.

Property was clean and well stocked. Nice having a washer/dryer. Privacy is a real value. Beautiful spot and ocean is the highlight.

We had a perfect week in Gualala, never even leaving the house except for groceries! So relaxing, sound of the waves, ultra clean property with excellent correspondence with the owner. Only back home one week and already planning to return here next year. Who could ask for more?

We stayed here for a long weekend. The home was beautiful and we saw several seals playing right off of the beach. It is near town for restaurants and shopping. There was a bakery/restaurant in Anchor Bay that served great food and well worth the money. We also ate in Gualala for several meals. We went to Fort Bragg and rode the Skunk train and also rode horses on the beach with Ross Ranch. We had a great time. I would warn you that Highway 1 is very winding and we also encountered a wildfire and a mudslide. We would do it again!!

What an amazing spot and amazing host. Piper was super responsive and was able to accommodate a last-minute stay less than 24 hours in advance. The place is absolutely gorgeous and set up perfectly for a relaxing stay, with plenty of ideas for cool nearby activities. 10/10

What a beautiful home! Views from every room with large glass window brought the outside inside. Way impressive property! Exceeded our expectations and we have already urged friends to consider a visit to this special place.

This is such a wonderful place! It is in the best location and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub worked great. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch and going down the stairs to the gorgeous beach. The hostess, Piper, was super helpful and responded quickly to our messages.

This house is better than you’re expecting. The decor is a little dated but it’s VERY comfortable. The house itself is kept up extremely well. The best part is the porch overlooking the water. It is amazingly private. You’ll find yourself enjoying the view for hours and maybe not seeing a single person!! There are some yummy little places to eat around, and Hwy 1 isn’t very busy. All in all, this place should be your next destination.

The perfect spot to stay in Gualala. Private stair access to the beach below. The views from every room in the house are amazing. Clear nights while enjoying the hot tub looking up at the sky seeing millions of stars. We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and we will definitely be returning with our family soon. The host was very available and quick to respond. The house had everything you would need during your stay. We can’t say it enough what an amazing time we had enjoying this home.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The view along the coast is always amazing, but this home is directly atop the bluff which made it even more spectacular, especially when viewing from the hot tub. Possibly our favorite spot out of the dozen or so we have rented in the last decade. Also of note, with the house and the coast facing nearly directly south at this location, there was less issue with the sun beaming directly into the house. Made for gazing at the sea even more enjoyable.

Very easy check in and check out, clean, very well stocked, stunning views and so homey. Beautiful relaxing deck, sat out listening to the pounding ocean and watching the wildlife. Cannot wait to come back!!
