Hedgegate House is always clean and comfy. Hawley’s communication is outstanding. We’ve stayed here several times and it is always quiet and relaxing.

Comfortable home in the Sea Ranch area for a great price. Host was very responsive and willing to answer questions. Hot tub was a real bonus.

Comfortable and beautiful breeze from the ocean ! Fawn were a delight to watch on the property and the quail visited too ! Quaint and homey , beds comfy . Lovely little escape !

We loved the property. It has a lovely lawn in front of the decks with a view of the ocean. We saw whales spouting and the quail kept me laughing as they sprinted about. The kitchen had most everything you could want including spices, oil, vinegar and various useful items in the fridge. It's tastefully furnished and decorated and everything was clean. Mattresses were comfortable. Although we never turned on a television there are dozens of DVD's available. I really appreciated the large bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the shower. All in all, we enjoyed our stay immensely.

House was very well stocked for cooking, lots of entertainment options as well. Hot tub was clean and warm when we arrived. Location was very good with a constant view of the blue water ocean.

A lovely and quiet home in a private setting with ocean views from both decks. The decks are also great for viewing the stars because Sea Ranch is a Dark Sky area. This is a very well equipped property, situated a short walk from the Ocean Bluff Trail that runs for miles through Sea Ranch. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have stayed at Hedgegate House for many years. It is a perfect place for us in a quiet neighborhood less than half a mile to the bluffs. The furniture is comfortable, and anything you reach for is there. The side of the house whee the hot tub is has no neighbors. In all of our stays the hot tub has been in working order, not always the case at other places we have rented. It’s always fun to watch the wild life wander through the yard, we have seen deer, wild turkeys, and gray foxes. Hawley is delightful to work with and is very responsive.

A wonderful home to stay in at Sea Ranch. Comfortable, well stocked, quiet, private. The views of the Pacific Ocean and sunsets are lovely and this time around we saw whales daily!Always a great stay at Hedgegate House.

What a wonderful stay! We’ve been going to Sea Ranch for almost 40 years and this was one of the most comfortable, well-appointed houses we’ve had the pleasure to stay in. The view is beautiful and serene, and the walk to Shell Beach is a quick 15 minutes! We will most certainly be back. Thank you for a great week!

The house was beautiful with vaulted ceilings in the living room and large windows to see the ocean and sunset. We loved the hot tub to soak in after long day hikes. The beds were very comfortable. The washing machine and dryer were very much appreciated and the kitchen was fully equipped. Highly recommend it!
