This second-floor Ocean Club condo is located in the popular Wild Dunes Resort community and features unbeatable ocean views. Each bedroom has a balcony and a private bathroom. The large balcony off the living room and the primary bedroom is perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee and taking in the beautiful ocean views. This family-friendly getaway offers guests access to Wild Dunes Resort's shared, on-site amenities that include a convenient outdoor pool, a basketball court, and a hot tub!

This condo is located next to the Links Golf Course in Wild Dunes. It's just a short three-mile drive to great local restaurants, shops, and the Isle of Palms marina. Take a sunset boat ride or nature tour from various tour companies at the marina. Rent bikes from one of the local vendors and explore the island. Don't forget to spend a day exploring downtown Charleston during your trip! You can hop in the car and be in the historic district in 17.7 miles.

Dock details: The freshwater fishing dock is located at the corner of Lagoon Road and Back Bay Drive.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. 1201 Ocean Club - Wild Dunes

There is no way to be closer to the ocean and enjoy the sound and the view ! Plus the size of this villa is beyond roomy ! This is a wonderful place to spend a week or a month with a great balcony and steps to the sand !

Great for family!

This property has not been updated. It was perfect for a family get away with an active toddler. We were very comfortable and would ask for the same unit again.

The good snd the bad

This condo had an amazing view of the ocean and super easy access to the beach. The master bathroom is perfect! The bad… very little lighting. This condo had lamps that couldn’t be plugged in and the ceiling fan did not have a light. Very old TVs and no tv in smaller bedrooms. The internet was terrible! Over all this condo did the trick but is nothing to brag about. My husband and I agreed that the owner needs to put out s little money. Another thing, you can not access the main pool of the resort.. not good

All-In-All, Great!

The condo was very spacious, with amazing views and location! The beds and sheets were comfortable, and it was nice that everyone had their own shower and balcony. For future renters, this info is for you, as I would have found it helpful to know: There were two additional kitchen trash bags provided, as well as four dishwasher pods, four laundry pods, and a mini dishwashing liquid bottle. All bathrooms had mini Dove soaps, and all showers had mini Dove shampoos and conditioners...1 oz each. Water pressure was great, even with multiple showers going at the same time. Also, tap water was fine to drink/use for ice. There are ceiling fans located in all bedrooms and the living room. The doublebed room seems to stay on the warm side, but a small box fan was kept in the closet. Speaking of closets, an infant could easily stay in the master walk-in closet if you brought your own pack-n-play or bassinet. There are two beach chairs, a boogie board, a few skimmer boards, and a small child's life jacket (girls)...not that a boy couldn't use it, but just throwing it out there. There are no sand toys. For the kitchen, there is no ice maker, but there are two ice trays. We changed these out regularly and used an aluminum baking dish as an ice bin. There are plenty of dishes and silverware for a family of four. I would like to make a note that if you have small children, all dishware and cups are glass or ceramic. There was only one baking sheet available, and we found ourselves wishing we had another one or two. There are lots of pots, but if you're wishing to do a crab boil, you will most likely need to bring your own X-large stockpot. There is one small one that might fit two or three clusters at a time. There are no crab crackers for use. There were two frying/sauté pans, and a few baking dishes. Not mentioned or shown in the listing is a wet bar. Although, the ice machine doesn't work, this area came in handy and offered lots of storage. While the space and location were great, we were disappointed in the tube TVs. While, we don't come to the beach to watch television, it is nice to have an updated one that is firestick capable for late night family movies and rainy occasions. The wifi was also very unreliable. My husband needed to do some work on his laptop, and was unable to. At times, our phones only offered "Emergency calls only". Again...all-in-all a great place, but could use a few upgrades (TVs), and a few additional kitchen items.

Spectacular Views

The condo is beautiful. It was clean when we arrived. Three balconies — one off each bedroom. The main balcony is very large and has beautiful panoramic views. There are also beautiful views of the ocean from the living room. The condo is spacious and pretty.

Spacious condo with gorgeous view

We just returned from staying 2 weeks in this beautiful condo. The view from every window was spectacular. We especially enjoyed the covered porch. The condo is very spacious and maintained. However the kitchen could be better supplied and some updating could be done. We had trouble communicating with Vacasa before arrival mainy because the listed phone number we were given was wrong! After that was straightened out things went smoothly. Family members joined us the first week and friends were with us the second week. We will certainly return.

Nice condo - a little worn

The condo is very nice -- a little dated-the furniture could use a good cleaning. It would have been nice to have more glasses and wine glasses and coffee cups. The TV definitely needs to be updated. My aging parents were unable to use it when we weren't there with them. We couldn't find local channels for news. We did enjoy our stay. The pool is fantastic. The ocean-front views were fabulous.

great beach getaway

3 couples stayed for Labor Day weekend. Even with one bedroom having twins, we all loved the space and comfort. The beach views from the nearly everywhere in the condo were phenomenal- the porch was roomy and great space for coffee and relaxing in the evening. It's a great spot for easy access to the beach. Easy for getting unloaded and up to the condo. Great food and activities nearby. The management was fantastic as well- we came right after a hurricane and there was some impact that they hand realized and they were responsive and very focused on making sure our needs were met. We loved the place.

Nice Beach House

Very convenient location with great beach/ocean views. The condo is a bit dated but feels like a beach place. It feels very safe with a guarded entry to the neighborhood as well as one into the condo complex. Check in was very easy. Looking forward to visiting again!

Property Good but construction next door not good

The condo was good for us. However, the cement dust from the constant grinding on the condo under construction next door damaged the windshield and finish on our car parked in the parking lot.

Condo has Fabulous View of Beach!

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay in 1201 Ocean Club Villa. The condo is spacious and the access to the beach was very convenient with our one year old grandson. The beds were all very comfortable and the furnishing were certainly adequate, even though most were dated. The furniture out on the large balcony was very nice, and the view was perfect. It’s a great beach place! A couple of suggestions which would make the condo even better: 1) replace a few of the old pots and pans, and 2) increase the number of bath towels. We hope to return soon for another stay in 1201!

1201 Ocean Club

The condo is quite spacious, clean, and in good working order. We come to Ocean Club every year. This is our first time in 1201, and we really enjoyed the views from an end unit. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues, which were handled quickly by the Vacasa staff. It was a great week.
