Birthday Weekend Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed here for my birthday weekend and we had a wonderful time! I loved drinking my morning coffee on the oceanfront balcony! Also, the bed was extremely comfortable! My only complaint was there was not much storage space and that some of the furniture was a little bulky for the space (i.e. the dining chairs). We can't wait to come back!
Respuesta de VrboOwner, el 12 jun. 2021
That does sound like a wonderful time! Just for the future if you find yourself needing more space then you can request one of our plus units that have about 150 extra square feet over the regular balcony units.

We had a relaxing stay at Beachers Lodge

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon entering our unit we had antibacterial wipes with us due to the Covid virus, my husband and I went through the unit wiping down all the surfaces. To our pleasant surprise everything was VERY clean. The location on the beautiful beach was terrific. The beach was easily accessible, very wide and room for everyone in including the dogs. For us it was a simple relaxing getaway.
Respuesta de VrboOwner, el 30 oct. 2020

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WE love coming to Beacher's Lodge we come down from Jacksonville three or four times a year. The front desk staff is friendly, the housekeeping staff is great we had family drive down to meet us at the beach and I requested extra towels for the family, no problem, the towels were delivered quickly. Beacher's treats you more like family than like a customer. We'll be back in July. Tracy McLean

Much Better than Anticipated

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Because the price was extremely reasonable, I figured it would have several if not many downfalls. NO WAY!! This place was amazing. The condo was very clean and well decorated as well as equipped with anything you would need. The location was amazing...the beach was never crowded anytime we went. The pool was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay so much planning on it again for next year.

Beautiful Area BUTTTTTTT..

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo we stayed in 211 needed some serious updating.. The king bed was very uncomfortable and the couch and pull out bed was even worse... the lighted mirror in bathroom did not work and hooks on back of bathroom door was just screws .. furniture on balcony was so uncomfortable to sit on and the slider door handle was broke and hard to open without it. ..This condo is far from gold.... We would stay here again because we loved everything about this place except that condo. We would just check a different condo next time... the check in was nice and made it simple. The pool area is clean and nice. The beach is beautiful.

A Hidden Gem near St. Augustine

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: ProsPool & right on the beachGreat views of the ocean & beach from balconyBalcony furniture was goodGreat value for the pricePet friendlyWell kept up property & friendly staffComfortable bed, just enough room for 1 or 2 peopleGreat new restaurant right across the street-Fuzion 904Close enough to St. Augustine, yet quieter & beach funCons-Older condos so tougher to unload & take items to your room if you have any mobility issues (is an elevator but not from parking level, need to use ramps or stairs for one level)-Not a lot of kitchen supplies if you are going to cook, recommend bringing or supplying larger frying pan more silverware/utensils etc- Recliner was older & not clean, would recommend furniture covers for that & the sofa which could be washed -Had a few maintenance issues that communicated to the staff, am sure they will be followed up on, didn't affect my visit

211, Never Again

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room 211 is considered “gold” and at best should be a bronze. I have been to Beachers Lodge 7 times now and this, by far, is the worst condo we have stayed in. There are so many things wrong with the room. Paint peeling on the ceiling, mold in the bathroom, the cabinet under the sink is falling in, etc. Also, there was next to nothing for cooking in the kitchen. Avoid this room if you can.
Respuesta de VrboOwner, el 11 may. 2022
We are sorry that you did not enjoy condo #211, it is a very popular suite, so during the summer when it's hard for us to get availability in the units here to address issues, we certainly appreciate your report and we are taking action to fix anything that is fixable.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent Thanksgiving week in 211 and enjoyed every moment. We loved the view and location of this second story unit. The furnishings were comfortable, and the balcony furniture was perfect for watching the gorgeous sunrises. It was convenient having a functional kitchen so we could relax and prepare a Thanksgiving dinner while enjoying the beach. We would definitely recommend this unit.
