Thanksgiving Get-away

Our second year in a row in St, Augustine for Thanksgiving. We try to stay at Ocean Village Club for our trips to the coast. First time in this unit. We were very pleased. Tastefully furnished with a coastal theme. Very comfortable mattress in the bedroom. The kitchen really did have most everything that was needed to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. We could bring our fur baby with us and the unit was on the ground-floor. What else could you ask for? Will rent this unit again. Different using a management agency instead of a single owner but no difficulties.

Clean, Comfortable, Quiet

My husband and I stayed here over July 4 with our dog while our kids stayed with their grandmother in Old Town. We loved the location because there are great restaurants across the street, grocery stores less than 1 mile away, and it's a quick and easy drive to Old Town. Ocean Village Club was a well-maintained and quiet neighborhood, perfect for walking our dog. The condo was very clean when we arrived, and the check-in process was a breeze. We would definitely stay in N-16 again.

Condo location

Q36 was a great location & size. Master bed is a air mattress NOT a "sleep number" its a sister company. No true mattress. Bedroom #2 mattresses are not comfortable. I slept on the couch the full 6 days

Very convenient to all of the things you would like to see in this area.

Fantastic Beach Retreat

I had a great vacation with this 2 week booking. This was my first time at this property, but I’ve been to St. Augustine and this area of the beach multiple times. The property was great! Hoses, a private beach walk, 2 pools, and within steps to great restaurants. This condo is much bigger and nicer in person than the pictures give it credit for. My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed the comfy beds, living spaces, and big bathroom. My only suggestions would be to have linens/pillows available for the pullout bed as it advertised to sleep 4 total in the condo and maybe an update on the blinds because they seem to be just past their prime. Other than those very minor suggestions, this was hands down a win. Also major points for the pet friendly aspect. Would 100% book again.

I would consider staying there again.

The unit was clean, and perfect for my dog and I. It is near the entrance and A1A, but that didn’t bother me. If you’re a beach person, the long walk to the beach access may be a problem, but that wasn’t an issue for me. The ladies in the rental office were wonderful. The only issue I had was that the couch was so uncomfortable I couldn’t sit on it.

Wonderful time We

We enjoyed our stay .Its a little walk to the beach but its a great beach area ! 🏖Grounds and pool are wonderful and well kept ! Condo was nice and in general perfect for two ! The dishwasher never worked properly , only one setting if you get to even work ! I ended up doing dishes by hand. Please get a decent coffee pot asap . What's there is a $20 coffee pot that I think they replaced the basket from another coffee maker. Grounds in our coffee 🙄 I just bought one to use and took it home .... How about a decent fry pan everything stuck .... There's restaurants and grocery stores within a block or two ! Great location . St Augustine is beautiful . Looking forward to visiting again

Perfect place!!

This was a perfect fit for my husband, me and our dog. Great being able to park so close. Loved being able to walk right out the screened patio. Condo was nice and had everything that we needed.

Review

Overall the cleanliness of the property was not good. The shower was dirty with others hair all throughout it with other guests products still in the shower. The towels were dirty. The bedding was definitely not cleaned before we arrived. There was dog hair in the bedding my friend was sneezing the entire trip as she is allergic. The location is not as pictured on the booking app. It is much further from amenities. I would not recommend.

Just enough

Had everything we needed for our family of 4. Could use an upgrade to the appliances. Washer and dryer are very small so we had to wash clothes everyday. But everything is clean, secure, and great location next to the beach! Close to grocery stores, just a few minutes drive to downtown.

Memorial Day weekend

We enjoyed our stay. Thanks for the opportunity. The only suggestion would be to make getting there gate keys easier than driving to get it at the office or kiosk.

Just as advertised

Everything was exactly as shown. Extremely easy check in process. We had a problem with the toilet the very first day and I called maintenance and they fixed it immediately. Very pleasant stay. Will definitely utilize this unit again.

Construction outhouse

Lovely property well-kept but part of the facility is under construction, unit *** where I stayed happened to be where the the construction equipment is stored, so at 8 a.m. every morning the construction noise would start, there's an outhouse for the construction workers right outside your kitchen window that is used throughout the day by the construction workers. What a lovely sight for your vacation! Heated pool is not heated at all! I booked in April of 2020 was unable to make the trip because ofcoronavirus issues. Management was very hard to deal with in giving any sort of refund so I was forced to reschedule the trip until this December. The management group is only interested in getting paid, no compassion for the Coronavirus issues we all face.

Good location

We selected this property because it had a screened in patio. It did NOT have a screened in patio nor did it have a screen on the sliding doors. Very disappointed. Otherwise it was as advertised.

No key to access the beach

Booking was a huge problem. System said unavaible after I booked. So I booked another one. Same thing happened. When I made a. Phone call to report I was on hold. Got disconnected. Then someone whose English was diffi cult to understand. She said I booked twice and could not be cancelled. After almost an hour with her I called another number she gave me. This rep was the best. Knowledgeable. Patient. Understood how aggravated I was. Didn't take long to resolve.
