Welcome to your home away from home in historic Port Royal! Enjoy this beautiful, spacious, lowcountry style 1 story 4BR 2BA home in the heart of Old Port Royal. This home has an "open- floor" plan combining living room, dining room and kitchen therefore making it easy to interact with your family and guests. Relax on the front or back porch while you enjoy feeling the southern breezes and saying hello to neighbors walking by.
We are located just 1 mile from the entrance to Parris Island. This home is perfect for those coming to see their new Marine graduate, as well as those coming to explore Port Royal, historic Beaufort, and the gorgeous surrounding areas. The Sands Beach area, a local favorite destination is only a half mile from the house. It includes a small local beach on the Port Royal Sound, perfect for sunbathing and looking for shark's teeth. There is also a public boat launch, boardwalk and observation tower that overlooks Port Royal Sound and Parris Island. One block from the home is the Cypress Wetlands nature sanctuary with its walking trails and boardwalk. Port Royal offers several unique shops, restaurants, and a wonderful gourmet coffee shop, all within walking distance from the house. Enjoy walking and biking on the nearby Spanish Moss Trail. Downtown Beaufort with its waterfront park, shops, and varied dining options is just an 8 minute drive away. We are a 25 minute drive to the beach and lighthouse at Hunting Island State Park and a 40 minute drive to Hilton Head. Charleston is 60 miles away and Savannah is just 40 miles away. They are both easy day trips.
Come and kick back and enjoy what Port Royal has to offer.

Let me just say that I don’t leave reviews without giving it needed thought. This house is immaculate. The host, Debbie, was super helpful and welcoming. A well written note and a plate of cookies greeted us when we walked in. Debbie lives next door and she made a point of coming out and meeting us face to face. The house is very clean and has everything you need. You will not go wrong renting this house.

Came to the area for my son's graduation from Marine Boot Camp at Parris Island. Could not have found a more perfect accommodation for our small group. The home is comfortable, welcoming and impeccably clean. The area is fun for walks and there are a few great local shops, ice cream. Very convenient to early morning PI Family Day and Grad. The owner is lovely! Cant say enough...highly recommend.

The pictures on VRBO was spot on. The house was very clean, neat, and ready to welcome us as visitors. The location was fantastic since it was about 2 1/2 to 3 miles from the Marine Corps graduation that we attended on Parris Island. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location for MCRD Graduation

Debbie was a fantastic host and allowed us to flex our check in time in order to travel around Hurricane Idalia. Great location and plenty of things to do within walking distance.

Debbie is a wonderful host. This home is so cozy and clean. It's a home away from home. We were welcomed with baked cookies, a nice greeting card, and a beautifully decorated home. We were so close to Parris Island, the beach and all of the other beautiful places to see in Port Royal and Beaufort. I would recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely be back. Wonderful relaxed get away

We had a great long weekend. Our host was friendly and was very nice. The Cypress walk was beautiful and Maynard's has good ice cream. The house had a great layout for our group.

Our stay

The house was just everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We were down for a Marine graduation from Parris island. Clean , quiet, all the necessities we are needed. I would stay here again.

Our stay was AMAZING!!! Ms. Debbie was so sweet!! She recommended some places that were awesome!!! The house was spotless!!! When we arrived, there were cookies, a binder full of local brochures, and a special note left on the counter to welcome us!!!

I grew up in Lancaster County PA. My dad was a country doctor with a hitching post in our back yard for the horse and buggies. I graduated Widener University with a BS in Nursing. I moved to FL and met Tim (the love of my life) and have been married for 31 years. We have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. We traveled through the Beaufort area last August and fell in love with it. So much so that we bought property and decided to spend the rest of our lives here. I am in love with Port Royal and am so excited to share our home with you. I know you will love it as much as we do.

My husband and I fell in love with Port Royal the very first time we visited. We weren't even looking to ever move from Tennessee. The friendly people, the beautiful oak trees covered in Spanish Moss, the warm breezes, bike trails, beaches and festivals are only a few reasons we quickly decided to settle here.This is also very centrally located to our children and grandchildren. We are so excited about our new life in the lowcountry.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

This house is what the lowcountry is all about.Cozy front porch and screened in back patio just invite you to relax and kickback. The street is quiet and peaceful and yet is within walking distance to restaurants, festivals and beach. The open layout of our home brings family together for eating, watching movies and playing board games. My favorite thing to do is have my cup of coffee in the morning while sitting in a comfortable chair on the front porch and greeting the neighbors as they walk by.

We are right around the corner if you need anything. We would love for this to be a wonderful and memorable experience for you. RELAX AND ENJOY!
