Beachside Bungalow- Tranquility House

Tranquility House is a quaint, secluded home off the Spanish Wells Public Beach. You will truly find tranquility relaxing on the back deck with a nice book or walking along the pink sand beach. You can enjoy even the hottest days outside by utilizing the motorized sun shades over the deck. Two bedrooms with king size beds feature private bathrooms and a TV, great for couples travelling together or a small family. The vaulted cielings and sliding glass doors will give you a wide open feeling, even indoors. You can eat breakfast at the island or set the table in the dining area for dinner and then hang out in the living room area together and enjoy each other's company. - Cleaning fees are included. - No pets, please. - Contact Teresa to arrange a golf cart rental for your stay. They are the easiest mode of transportation while you are on the island. - If you are hoping to have an extended stay (month or longer), contact Teresa to discuss a discounted rate. - May request a late check out time.

Great birthday stay for my wife and myself! Perfect spot for a couple to escape to the beach. The home is well stocked and very clean. We will return.

Beachside bungalow

This is at least our third visit at this property. It never fails to please. 3040 feet from the beach set back from the road and private. Host is wonderful.

Stunning views-right on the beach

Tranquility House provided a wonderful place to stay on our second trip to Spanish Wells. It had a great veranda with comfortable lounge chairs and a dining table and chairs where you can enjoy the view of the beach and ocean. You’re steps from the beach and it’s very quiet in that spot. House is as advertised and very comfortable for 2-4 people

Tranquility on the beach

We were looking for a place near our friends house and Tranquility House delivered. Not only was it 3 houses away, but it's on the best beach on Spanish Wells. it was well appointed, clean and beautiful. We would love to return and highly recommend.

Great Bungalow at a reasonable price

This is the second time we stayed at this cottage. The house is perfect for two couples, each w separate bed rooms and baths. It is about 20 steps from the beach. The house is clean, modern and well equipped.

Paradise

This idyllic spot in the Bahamas is like something out of a travel magazine. The house has a amazing rear covered porch with luxury sunbeds and is 8 steps to a gorgeous pristine white sand beach. The view of the turquoise sea from the house is quite simply stunning. Teresa the caretaker met us on arrival at the dock in town and was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The house has a private gated entrance and is very quiet..just what we wanted. The grocery store is just a short golf cart ride away as are dining out choices. It was an amazing vacation for us and we are hoping to return. Thank you Teresa.

Tranquility—name says it all.

Spanish Wells is a quintessential small Bahama island—beautiful beaches with friendly, helpful people. Each of the 4 restaurants had good food whether for lunch or dinner, 3 having beautiful locations & one for a windy/rainy day. There is also a private chef who with a reservation will prepare a delicious meal at her home. For fishing or boating we can highly recommend Shaw Underwood. You’ll love him. Large grocery store has good selection of essentials—fewer choices but you’ll find most items. Ask the butcher for cold cuts if desired.Tranquility Beach House was perfect. It was just two of us but two couples or one with 2 kids works. Incredible location steps to the beach with beautiful views on a lovely large piece of property. Extremely private and quiet. The 4-sided porch is lovely and when not in the sun or on the beach—that’s where we were on the water side. Kitchen is equipped for cooking with most needed items. If you plan to use the grill—which is newish—ask if it needs to be cleaned before arrival. Water is shallow with a bit of sea grass to navigate but perfect for kids—bring water shoes if you’re not a fan of a bit of sea grass. Quick walks either way get to deeper water. Teresa, the manager, can arrange for airport pickups, golf carts and will meet you on arrival. We had one question with a prompt reply but had nothing else to ask.All vacation rentals have idiosyncrasies. Pluses outnumber minuses at Tranquility. We’d love to return.

This house was perfect for our family and sits directly on the beach. Everything we needed to cook from pots, pans, spices, utensils and outdoor grill were available. We spent our days watching the dolphins and turtles, relaxing on the beach and watching beautiful sunsets at the pavilion. Loved the back patio for outdoor dining and the loungers were the perfect spot to enjoy the shade and sea breeze. In my opinion, the driveway is the most beautiful on the island with the gorgeous coconut palms lining each side. Just book it, you won’t regret it! The back porch has a fence and gate going out to the beach which would be much safer for families with small kids.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and as large as the pictures showed. The porch was our favorite spot, it's massive with the most beautiful view. 20 steps and you are on the beach, you don't have to walk anywhere the see the famous Spanish Wells sunsets. This was our 5th visit to the island and this house was our favorite by far and will definitely stay here again.

On the beach!

A great location in Paradise! You are steps from a beautiful sandy beach stretching in both directions. Great property for a family of four or two couples. Clean and well equipped. Short golf cart ride to nice restaurants or the marina. I would love to come back and stay longer! And thank you Teresa, you were a great hostess!!

This might be the most perfect place anywhere... steps from the most beautiful beach, everything you need in the house, perfect for our family of four! Teresa was outstanding to work with, answered all of my questions promptly and has a lovely property! Can't wait to return!
