Nancy and her family were a very nice group to have as tenants. They were friendly and took care of the cottage as if it was their own. Everything was in great order when they were finished vacationing at the cottage. I would highly recommend them.

My guests are very important and I want them to have the best possible time they can have at the lake. I'm very glad to share our summer home with so many kind people this season!

Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate it and will use your review to edit information so that I can make the rental better for future guests. I have looked at the description of my property and see that there is information that the boat would be tied to the END of the dock, not on the lift, so I do not feel that I gave indication that hoist is available to guests. The bathroom is also described as have a separate shower stall, which many of our past guests have really liked. Yes, the bedrooms are small, but they are average size for a cottage. As for the lake, I really have no control over it and Honeoye is known for being shallow which is why it gets warm enough to swim in so comfortably. I hope you find the perfect cottage in your next rental. I want all of my guests to have the best time on their vacation at our cottage. I'm sorry there was some disappointment for you.

Thank you for your review. We wish the bedrooms were a little bit larger, too. The details of the room sizes are in the description just for the reason that I don't want anyone to wonder. I guess the bedrooms in cottages at the lake tend to be on the small side, not just in our cottage, but many of them, so that guests can enjoy more time together in the common rooms. There is a dresser in each bedroom so that guests can unload suitcases and feel more at home.
