Encapsulating the laid-back, Southern California lifestyle, the interior flaunts a bright, beachy, modern decor that welcomes you home after a day on the beach. Venture out for a spot of shopping, sample the abundance of eateries and breweries nearby, or get your adrenaline pumping at Belmont Park. After a day of adventure, enjoy a movie on the plush sofa then retire to your inviting king bed for some well-deserved R&R.

Nearby Activities: La Jolla Cove, Herringbone (Seafood), Galaxy Taco, Whisknladle Bistro & Bar, Camino De La Costa (Hikes and Biking).

- We allow service animals at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Please be aware that this property is located on the second floor and is only accessible by stairs.
- Please note that this home is surrounded by restaurants and is situated in a busy area with strong nightlife activity.
- Please note, we do not allow shipping or deliveries of parcels to any of our properties since we do not have access to mailboxes, and cannot guarantee delivery, receipt, or protection of your items at the property.
- This home is located in a neighborhood with a strict noise ordinance policy and therefore is only suitable for quieter groups. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000.
- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Same-day bookings are not permitted.
- Absolutely no exterior amplified music is allowed. Violations will result in a $500 fine.
- While we do our best to notify guests in advance, unannounced power outages may occur due to unexpected city maintenance.
- No events are allowed unless pre-approved and coordinated through Avantstay. This includes but is not limited to: rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and social gatherings.
- All guests must comply with local laws regarding outdoor lighting, quiet hours, and limitations on parties or gatherings.

Parking Details:
No parking available on site, we highly encourage Uber or Lyft. Street parking is limited and garage parking is at a cost; not affiliated with our property.

This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib available. A high chair can be provided upon request with at least 24hrs advanced notice. Just ask and we are happy to accommodate you and your little ones!

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

Terrific location, great place

We loved the location- just a block from the beach. We had originally looked at a place right on the beach at La Jolla Cove, but the smell from the sea lions made us very glad we were a block away. It’s in the middle of shops and restaurants, with lots of things in walking distance. We found free parking every night on the streets to the east of the condo. The condo has been recently renovated and was very clean. The only downside for us was that the bed is memory foam, which we don’t like.

This property was neat, clean, and perfectly situated in the heart of the LaJolla beach community. There were breathtaking views of the water and great photo ops.

86F Inside Temps

The property is nice and for the most part it is updated with a great bathroom and kitchen. However, a critical miss in the listing is the lack of adequate air conditioning or fans. There is one AC unit tethered to a window in the bedroom and the average inside property temp exceeded 86F for all 3 days with the AC unit set to 61F (since it could no go any lower).The is a portable fan but this is undersized to make any difference. The heat inside the property forced me to spend more time exploring La Jolla, so it’s not all bad.

Excellent Stay

Property is in an ideal location at La Jolla cove with everything you need within walking distance. The unit was just what we needed and plenty of space for the 2 of us. AdvantStay went above and beyond to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. The communication with their group was excellent and we would absolutely stay here again or at any AdvantStay property.

Downtown La Jolla

Clean and well stocked unit. Great location though noisy which we knew in advance. Hideabed very uncomfortable to sit on. Mattress too soft and uncomfortable to sleep on.
