Enjoy Sterling Sands 703 in beautiful Destin. This condo is located on the 7th floor and offers a view of the Gulf of Mexico. This will sleep up to six people comfortably with a king bed, twin bunk bed set, and a queen sofa bed. With 3 TVs, 1 DVD player, and CD stereo system, you will enjoy all the comforts of home. This is a very comfortable seventh-floor condo, with great views of the pool and gulf.

Things to Know
This condo has a max occupancy, including children. These are rules set by the State of Florida and the State of Florida Fire Codes. The Fire Codes go by square footage and not the beds in a condo. If you arrive with more than the max occupancy listed, the HOA will not allow you to check-in and you will not be entitled to a refund.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 7.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Property is outdated but for the price we paid, being outdated did spoil our fun. The balcony views were stunning and access to the beach was quick, easy, and safe. They also had the best rinse off station—. O sand tracks through the property! Common areas were roomy. 2nd bedroom is a tight squeeze but still manageable. There were missing blinds and rods to open up the blinds. The dryer overheated … but eventually after 3 hrs, my small load was dry. Bunk ed did not seem sturdy as it seemed wobbly but it was comfortable. There were plenty of towels. It was a good place to stay especially because of the ocean view and location.

This condo is certainly not as advertised, so travelers beware. It is dirty, dated and managed through Vacasa. Vacasa is the worst management company I have ever dealt with and I am sure if the owners of this condo knew how bad there choice of management is they might change. The apparent Vacasa manager during my stay was on vacation and there was no one covering for this manager. The tvs did not work, the toilet ran, there was mold in the master bathroom, the carpet was severely soiled, the sofas were covered with a velvet like cover because they were so filthy. I had to have the condo maintenance help me and I tipped them because they were the greatest experience of this stay.

Getaway

Choose this property for the view and location to the beach along with the heated pool and hot tub! The property could definitely benefit from a remodel. Outdated interior. Outlets were loose and some not usable. Microwave interior is rusty, etc…. That being said we chose this property for the amazing view of the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico!

Clean, great location but very outdated for the price charged.

Condition of unit was clean, but could use an update. Seems like many years of just painting and patching where improvements and replacements were long overdue. Good location, but a bit over priced for value received.

Nice Complex

Very nice complex with pool and hot tub. Friendly staff. The condo was worn but in ok shape, the furniture stained, the carpet was disgustingly dirty and stained. The beds were very comfy. Make sure you bring your own coffee filters. I'd give this condo a 4, but with the condition of the carpet a 3. If they'd had tile flooring or some other movable flooring a definite 4 star.

Nice condo, great view

The condo worked well for our needs. It was clean but could use some upgrades. Everything was functional and everything we needed was there except for clothes hangers. I would recommend black out curtains on the bedroom windows for less light from the breezeway. We would stay here again.

Nice View Dirty Carpet

The view is very nice. The unit as a whole could be very nice. However the carpet and couches have to go! They were absolutely disgusting! We had to wear shoes inside the condo the whole time. And I had to cover the couches and couch throw pillows with sheets for us to even be able to sit on them. Needs a major deep clean! And the dryer fixed! But the view was beautiful

Fun In The Sun

We had a great time staying here for our first family trip to Destin. The view from the balcony is beautiful, the beach is just steps away, the pool was clean, and you're super close to plenty of restaurants and entertainment. This particular unit is a bit older and could probably stand a few updates here and there, but we didn't see any major causes for concern. The AC worked, kitchen appliances all worked, and the beds were comfortable. Would gladly stay here again. Thank you!

Dirty carpet, Needs Updating

A/C was broken but Vacasa repaired it same day. Picture I took from balcony into living room showed how dirty the carpet is, now I’m wondering how clean the couch and Loveseat are, so we covered both with the sheets provided for the pull out. Kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. They are very stingy with what they will provide. 2 tiny dish towels and the bathroom towels are very cheap and scratchy. Bunk bed is only appropriate for kids… 3 foot clearance on bottom bunk. Blinds need to be replaced. They fell down when I tried to change the direction of blinds. Bright lights coming into the bedrooms because they are on the walkway side. Had to put a towel I brought over the window so I could sleep. Toilet ran every 10 Minutes in the big bedroom. All this is on the owner… Vacasa was very responsive; they fixed what they could. Someone needs to actually stay in these units to see what needs attention. Obviously purchased for investment only. Pool and jacuzzi nice and I saw them drain and maintain it and the access to the beach is nice. The umbrellas and chairs you rent take up the whole beach. You get to sit behind them if you bring your own chairs or pay the rental fee if $45 for the day or $30 for later half of the day.
