The place was really pricy for what it was. Poor customer service prior to and upon checking in - limited or no response to questions. They said they would try their best to accomodate 1 hour early check-in. Upon arrival, I was not able to access the unit. When I called, the lady said, "Well honey, check-in is at 4pm." (it was 3:15PM and the place was empty) I explained that I had already requested and someone told me they would try. Considering the unit was ready and the request was communicated in the morning, there was no reason it should have been inaccessible or for no one to follow-up. She said, "Well, you could have called us." (VRBO does not list phone numbers due to privacy) Did not appreciate the passive aggressive tone. Asked if it came with basic supplies before we left, received no response. Discovered after checking in, it lacked basic things a hotel would have (shampoo/conditioner/body soap). The kitchen lacked basic cooking supplies (oil, S&P). Woman said, "Well we own so many properties, we can't provide all of that. Feel free to check out the Dollar Store." I let her know this was the reason I inquired earlier, so I could just bring what I needed from home. Internet stopped working which is not fun with 2 kids. Hot tub cover - no instructions, after figuring it out, realized there was 0 room to maneuver to put a VERY heavy cover back on. Because it was so difficult, we only used it once. Won't rent again.
