Newly Remodeled! We are taking time out to do some traveling! Looking for guests who will respect our home! 2 BR, 1 BA Sleeps 4

The Most Adorable Beach Cottage Ever! You will love our 2 story Authentic Beach House! Built in 1925 - Very Charming.

We are about four houses from the Bay and about seven from the Ocean! Our cottage has parking!. I have installed high speed Internet access for your convenience!

There are 2 bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. Both with Queen Beds. There is one bathroom downstairs. There is a large deck with Lights, Umbrella, couch two chairs, portable fire pit and BBQ just through the french doors off the upstairs bedroom.

Two Beach Cruisers, Boogie Boards, Beach Chairs & Beach Towels are provided for your pleasure!

We have a portable air conditioner upstairs that we have out during the hotter months. The ocean breeze does a great job of keeping the home cool.

There is a laundromat on the corner of our court for your convenience. We are very close to the YUMMY Mission Restaurant, Saskas, shopping and more!

This is the perfect place for your vacation! You will love it!

True Mission Beach cottage - Cute!!

We're local to San Diego, have 2 kids 9 and 6, and just wanted a break and change from the winter break routine. The kids got new bikes and roller-blades for x-mas so we though, Mission beach would be awesome. We could just head out the door and go up and down the boardwalk!Found this gem of a place on VRBO. The pictures and description are spot on and it won't disappoint. It's an old house but very much updated. For our family of 4, it was prefect. We stayed in the winter so our concern was around having heat at night. There were space heaters that quickly warmed up the place. The owner was SUPER responsive and easy to work with. Only downside was parking (parking stinks in mission beach and the fact you have 2 spaces is amazing!!). Just keep in mind you need 2 pretty small cars to fit 2. 1 - no problem. Not a deal breaker by any means. Just park the car you don't need to go in and out of on the street and the other at the property. We'll be back and highly recommend this property. We had a blast!

Mission Beach Cottage

This cottage is perfect, complete with modern furnishings, appliances, and a fully stocked kitchen. The outdoor patio is a great space to relax after a long day. The beds are the most comfortable we've ever slept on. The location is close to everything you could want; park the car and walk to the bay, the beach, and all the restaurants. The host is very responsive and knows all the local hotspots. Will definitely return to this one!

Perfect

This cottage was exactly what we needed. Location is spot on. So easy to get to the beach and bay! We loved having the firepit for our chilly nights. Bathroom sink is small which I already knew from pictures but the upstairs vanity/desk made up for it!! Robin was wonderful with communication! Hopefully it works out that we'll be able to stay again in the future!

Convenient and perfect location

Just a fantastic location near the bay and the ocean. Neighborhood is just a cool vibe beach town. Robin was great to communicate with, and the house was everything we could have hoped for. We will be back.

Great Little Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was so cute and remodeled so well. The kitchen was well stocked and the other house amenities such as beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and bikes were so nice to have. The location is an easy walk to so many great coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

The perfect trip!

This beach cottage was fantastic! I have no complaints at all. The house is charming and ideally situated between the bay and the ocean, making it the perfect spot, close to everything. The rooftop was wonderful for relaxing in the evenings, and they provided beach chairs, an umbrella, and even boogie boards. The host was excellent—she responded immediately and was always helpful. I will definitely return next year!

Wonderful Experience

I absolutely loved this cottage! It was so clean; so well taken care of; great location near the center of everything; beautifully decorated; comfortable; and most importantly, Robin, the hostess, was a pleasure to work with. If we are able, we’d like to continue renting this cottage from Robin every summer. We had a great time and so many amenities for the family to use! Thanks again, Robin!

Second Stay

This was our family’s second stay at this wonderful beach home & it was just as amazing as our last. The home is comfy, cozy & clean. Great location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It’s a short walk to the beach and an even shorter walk to the bay! Another incredible stay—thank you, Robin!

In the middle of it all

We loved how nestled the location is in the thick of mission beach. We were one block from the bay and three blocks from the ocean in either direction! Very laid back neighborhood with a great rooftop outdoor space. We cooked and/or grilled almost all our meals and the kitchen with a gas stove was great every night. The place makes the most of every foot and is a deceptively big beach house. The owner was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. Cannot wait to come back.

Relaxing getaway

I had the most wonderful stay at this cozy San Diego cottage! From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was a breeze, setting the tone for a relaxing getaway. The location was fantastic, just a short 3-minute walk to the beach, allowing us to easily enjoy the sun, sand, and surf whenever we pleased. The cleanliness of the cottage was top-notch, making us feel right at home. We couldn't help but chuckle and call it our own little slice of the Jersey Shore - it had that fun, laid-back vibe that added to the charm of our experience. The host was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Their great communication made us feel well taken care of throughout our time there. Great home base for our trio!

This was the perfect home base for our trio while visiting with extended local family for a week. We easily walked to or made breakfast there, headed out to the beach to hang out or just to stroll and watch the surfers. We slept well and there were plenty of space heaters to keep us comfy when the temperature dropped. Parking was easy for our rental mid-size SUV. Such a wonderful cottage with nice warm feel that we were always happy to come home to. I also should add that the owner, Robin, was super easy, responsive, and pleasant to communicate with. So a great experience for us from start to finish.

Beach House Weekend

We stayed for a long weekend with our daughters and the downstairs room gave them a place to rest with the rest of the house accessible. We enjoyed the neighborhood and the location. The beach was great.

Perfect Little Beach House

We had an amazing time staying at this little gem. It was cute, cozy and clean—all things that really matter to us. Great location, close to the beach, bay, restaurants and coffee shops. It was so convenient having a parking space provided as well. Communication with Robin was great when we had a small issue arise, and it was quickly resolved. We’ve stayed at multiple beach homes on Mission for the last decade and can honestly say this is one of our favorites. We hope to be lucky enough to stay here again soon!

Great getaway

We had a great stay! Property was just as described, adorable beach cottage! With all the things to make a beach vacation memorable. The host was wonderful very easy to communicate with, making sure we had everything we needed! The personal touches (welcome sign with our family name) made it special! Loved this place! Outstanding Stay in Mission Beach

We were looking for a unique spot for a little family reunion for my husband and me and our two adult children, and we found it with Robyn’s historic and charming beach cottage. Both location and accommodation were outstanding. The upstairs bedroom layout provided enough space and privacy for my son and daughter, and the downstairs bedroom was perfect for the two of us. We also made good use of the upstairs deck and the chairs by the front door were lovely for morning coffee. We also loved the location, so close to both beaches, especially the lovely and quiet bay side beach. Other notables are the many out-the-door options for good long walks, bike rides (with provided cruisers), and great spots to grab a coffee, bite or a drink. I’d also like to give a special shout-out to the Spanish Tapas restaurant Costa Brava, a short Uber ride away or a 35 minute or so walk. Finally, Robyn was the best host and always got back to me right away with any questions.
